worst of the worst
every time i am more shocked by how abysmal walmart’s customer service is. everything always goes wrong. at some point the rep i was talking to referred to amazon as their competitor— not a chance. an item was lost, ie never shipped, no refund then it was suddenly found i guess and shipped and guess what, i moved, don’t live there and they won’t refund me. absurd. absurd. everything about them is absurd. i deleted the app and wouldn’t order from them if the prices were half amazon.

I ordered a toy online from Walmart Nov 07,2025 and paid a bit more because they seemed to be the only place that had it available. I was supposed to pick it up Nov 21 at the store near me.
When I got to the store at first they were confused where to even go to picket up, then couldn't find the order number etc etc. Finally someone found the order online and it said not delivered, non refundable and they had no idea what was going on but quickly passed the responsibility on to online customer service. They gave me a number to call.
I immediately called customer service and they said it would be escalated. They didn't know where it was.
One month later (December 08) Im still being told it will be escalated and that someone will contact me in 2-3 business days.
No one in customer service can escalate a call. No one has contacted me. I have no idea where the toy is and no one at Walmart seems to know where the toy is. Ive called 4 times !
I would give up on this ,but I promised the toy to my grandson . We missed his bday but maybe xmas??!!
This is the worst customer service I have ever seen and will never shop at Walmart either online or in person!

Je voudrais fermer mon compte en ligne chez Walmart.ca car j'ai changé de numéro de cellulaire et je n'ai plus accès à mon compte en ligne pour commander chez eux. Ils envoient un code de vérification d'identité à mon courriel, là tout va bien. Ensuite ils envoient un code à mon ancien numéro de cellulaire que je n'ai plus. C'est certain que çà fonctionne pas. J'ai téléphoné au service à la clientèle de Walmart et je leur ai demandé de changer le numéro de cellulaire et ils ne veulent pas. ????

Walmart does not stand behind the merchandise they sell. It's buyer beware. I made a purchase, and the device would not work. I downloaded the app using the instructions on the box and the QR code. It would not work. The manufacturer admitted that they were scaling back support for the device. Walmart said it was the manufacturer's fault, not their fault and they refused to refund me. They were selling those off at a "discount" because they knew they were useless and then screwing the customers by duping them into buying them and refusing to refund once the customer figured out the device was useless

1st complaint - pickup spots had been moved with no prior notification.

I put in a grocery order last night, and a few items were popping up to be delivered separately, which I did not want, so I canceled them, or so I thought. I did not know until today that one item, which was supposedly on sale, would not be delivered for almost two weeks, and I was being charged another delivery fee, which was more than the item itself. I thought that was ridiculous. Of course, I tried to cancel it but was told that it was too late because it had already been shipped. That did not make sense to me. Where was it coming from? Timbucktwo!? This whole scenario is so pathetic that I don't ever want to use Walmart's online grocery delivery ever again. I feel like I was tricked and taken advantage of, and that's not okay. I'm so disgusted with them right now, I don't want to ever shop there again.

I love Wal-mart and the prices are unbeatable. They are the only place to carry all the Lindt varieties, including 90, 95 and 100%! I usually shop in store, but sometimes online for pickup. I do find they make substitutions that they shouldn’t, i.e. I find it on the shelf after, but I just return it. Customer service has always been great with returns. Great selection of toaster ovens.

this is actually a zero star rating I ordered a couch from Walmart Canada waited 2 weeks for it to be delivered at home on the scheduled delivery date and at 9:00 at night I get a tracking confirmation and a Walmart confirmation that it was delivered where it was nowhere in sight this is the most horrible experience I've ever had at this point Walmart's says that they will refund me that the company has lost my couch yet I have not seen any money I will never shop from Walmart again !

I received an order send in error by Walmart and charged to my credit card on file, I tried to return this merchandise to the Walmart store located in Milton,ON but the order was cancelled and when the store tried to return this items in the order said that was not returnable. I just want to return this merchandise and my refund for the amount that was charged to my credit card. Rubina at Customer service was very rude not giving an understandable response or answer. I am done with Walmart all due to the ignorant representatives.

Today, the delivery was rescheduled for a window between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
It is now 12:22 PM on November 19, 2025, and the order has still not arrived. This marks the second time the commitment has been completely missed.
The core issue remains the complete absence of communication. I have received zero updates or explanation for why my order has failed to be delivered on two separate windows across two different days. I am left with no groceries and no information on whether this order still exists.
I placed a grocery delivery order with Walmart scheduled for a delivery window between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM today, November 18, 2025.
At some point, I received a text message notification delaying the delivery until 1:00 PM. While frustrating, I accepted the change.
It is now 3:17 PM, over two hours past the revised delivery time and more than three hours past the original window. The order has still not arrived.
The most disappointing part of this experience is the complete absence of communication. Since the 1:00 PM delay text, I have received zero updates. I have no way of knowing whether my order is still coming or if it has been silently canceled. I relied on this schedule for perishable items, and this severe delay, coupled with a total lack of transparency and customer service updates, is unacceptable.

My delivery is to wrong address i sent pictures showing delivery at wrong address. The customer service representative couldn't help neither could Supervisor "Sumit" both told me to call back Sunday. Neither would start a refund process said it wasn't able to start until next day. The customer service is open from 8-11pm. This was 7pm when I made contact. Both were very rude not giving any understandable response or answer. Go to Amazon I have tried supporting this company now I just want my refund and be done with Walmart all due to their two ignorant representatives

I tried multiple times & ways when I was encountering Walmart account log in problems & had no choice but to call Walmart Canada on Oct 27/25. I was able to talk to a live person ONLY AFTER MUCH HASSLES & DIFFUCULTIES with their autobot phone system.
It took a lengthy period of time before the Walmart emplyee could understand such simple & straight-forward issue as acoount log in issues & that I am not a high tech person & very much incapable/uncomfortable in terms of scanning whatever, what have you screen shot AND IT IS ONLY A SIMPLE ISSUE AS I WAS DESCRIBING TO HIM-----NOTHING HAPPENED WHEN I TRIED LOGGING IN EXCEPT THE PASSWORD ERROR MESSAGE (AND I USED THE CORRECT PASSWORD IN FACT!) & NOTHING HAPPENED WHEN I TRIED THE ''FORGET PASSWORD'' FEATURE!

They Lost a package and won’t refund
Ordered an unlocked phone from the Walmart website over 3 weeks ago. Item was lost by the carrier (Intelcom which is essentially useless as well). I’ve had to call 4 times to talk to customer service which they’ve been unable to help me everytime and each time promised an escalation person would call me back. I received 1 call back from 4 times they promised only to be told the item is on the way. Now they won’t refund and refuse to simply send out another item as a replacement since the fist was confirmed to have been lost by the carrier. They again want me to call in and get a refund another day. I just opened up a credit card dispute and the can deal with my credit card company. I won’t be buying from Walmart online again and recommend that anyone else be very cautious, any issues and you’ll need to fight to get your money back when they lost the item. Inept , useless and time wasters.

This is actually a zero star review. Ordered an Electric can opener for seniors and people with arthritis. After 6 weeks and crazy tracking system I got delivery of an Electric jar opener with no return option. Do not use Walmart online ordering. They do not advise you the order is from a 3rd party seller and obviously do not take any responsibility for the quality and validity of the 3rd party sellers.
