This is a very easy review to write on account of excellant and thoroughly professional way WBW handled both the sale of my mothers house following her passing, and then my house purchase within a matter of months of each other. Gill Bratcher kept me informed throughout the entire process and was always accessable if I needed advice or help with the legal aspects of my sale & purchase. I cannot praise them enough and Highly recommend their legal services.

We found our experience of using wbw solicitors for the sale of our property and the purchase of our present property very satisfying,
Rachael and Rosemary were very professional throughout the conveyancing process, they were very patient and helpful with any questions we put to them, it's not the easiest job dealing with estate and management company issues, but everything was resolved in the end, and we are now enjoying the comforts of our new home, it's taken us six weeks to redecorate and furnish it, but it's all been worth it,

Excellent service and advice.

Nikolai assisted with a trust registration. He processed the paperwork and I received a communication from HMRC. However, after three weeks I had heard nothing from WBW. I contacted Nikolai by phone to enquire if the process was complete from his end, and if not, what the next step was. A typo had crept into my email address and he did not know I had not received his message and I, of course, did not know he had sent it. Apologies were made and the error rectified. Nikolai then helpfully talked me through what had to be done, patiently answering my questions and all was well. I was happy with the service received.

Used WBW at Launceston for the purchase of a property. Louise and Karen provided a great service, were fast, efficient and talked to me in my language which made the whole experience relatively simple. I would both, highly recommend them and definitely use them again in the future.
Now the Land Registry - what a useless bunch they are, taking 1yr to register the property, hence the lateness of this review - what are they doing!

WBW Torquay were my solicitors for buying my first home recently. To my knowledge everything was done correctly and it was a smooth journey but some stages took longer than expected. The sellers solicitors emailed mine to ask if it could be sped up a bit and then everything went very fast!

Having been recommended for a business legal matter that was carried out by Justin Osborne, I was happy for WBW to handle the lease assignment for the same commercial building, with the work carried out by Darren Heard.

Wills and LPAs are difficult for us because we come from very small families, have never had children and are now in the latter stages of life. We (me and my wife) are both local and appreciate dealing with a long established local firm with a good reputation.
We were not disappointed when right from our first interview we found Helen Jarvis and her assistant, Emma very reassuring that everything would be correctly handled.

Throughout the whole process of selling our property and throughout the purchase of our new home, Louise and Karen provided a great service. Louise kept us fully in the picture at every stage, as did Karen, in Louise's absence, and challenged any issues which arose. One particular issue that Louise identified with the purchase, did lead to some delay. However, we were so pleased she was determined to strive for a solution. In summary, given all the stresses of moving house, they were thorough and very professional and we fully recommend WBW Solicitors (Launceston) for conveyancing.

My late granddads estate was setup and managed by WBW and from the start was major issues, we had a lack of updates resulting in us chasing and Donna decided to charge a large amount of money for the privilege. Donna then spend a large amount of money and time trying to find a made up person on the will instead of doing what was needed and then taking out the insurance which was finally done.

The estate was finally distributed at a huge cost to all beneficiaries but what can you do when a solicitor doesn’t really care and makes the most amount of money.

We have then been written to again to now be told an account has been found that was missed, another example of poor work but oh well not a major issue however we have now had to accept more money for insurances, tax, new id and bankruptcy checks extending the insurance and an eye watering £1200 just for WBW to do the work resulting in 3/4k gone from the estate for what. They have had it since October 2025 but only written to us in January 2026 to tell us we have to provide all our details again even though this should still be on the system.

Once again lack of updates from a company that just want to make the most money it can out of people, this is from my personal experience and would advise people to avoid them for dealing with estates.
