Don’t use them.. they are reactive, not proactive.. they promise everything to take your money and basically deliver nothing..

First Time Buyers and gave us an easy, stress free experience. He answered any queries and concerns promptly giving reasoned advice. The whole process went very smoothly from start to finish and I couldn’t fault the service we received. I would highly recommend Darren for any property matters that people may have.

My father and I have been using WBW to buy and sale properties over the last couple of years and we found them to be prompt, efficient, friendly and caring which was particularly important when my elderly father needed to be taken through the buying and selling process. We recently appointed Sarah Witheridge at WBW to deal with the purchase of some land adjacent to our house. Both Sarah and her assistant Sue were extremely helpful. They had a pragmatic and efficient approach to the transaction and dealt with all of our queries in a speedy and appropriate manner. They are also an absolute joy to deal with!!

Danielle was extremely efficient and kept us up to date with each process ensuring everything was thoroughly explained to us. What should have been a straight forward sale of a property, turned out to be more complicated. Darren and his team handled the sale with efficiency and speed, they certainly had a lot to deal with and when above and beyond to get the sale sorted.

In managing the legal aspects of the recent sale of a plot of land, WBW were professional and helpful. But what we really appreciated from them was their flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty in some finnicky moments with our mortgage provider, helping us to smooth the way forward. Also, as costs went above initial expectations, they were fairness and reason itself in coming to an equitable solution. Happy to recommend.

My Solicitor Kate from the Exmouth office was extremely efficient in her instructions to me and what I could expect to happen within the process. At no point did I not know what the process would be and the next step. Everything she said would happen did, which took the worry out of what could have been a very stressful time.

Hi I have to agree with Isla William and many others I see, I will say always look at the complaints before you enter into any business with this firm WBW, they have taken so much money from my father's estate without even consulting us, they are rude and arrogant, and if you complain to the so called impartial Jane Couch, she will always side with WBW who pay her wages. I am with all the other complainants and have a look, there are lots. I did not want to give them one star but you have to to put a complaint in. Our case was started on the 8th August 2022 and we are still being charged to this date 16/08/2022, amount roughly £47000.00 so far, we are a family of five and will only receive roughly £34000.00 each so u can see that this firm is getting far more than us for doing very little we feel. Avoid this firm please u will be overcharged for there services.

Having a bad time with this company. My father died nearly two years this year. And still no end to my father's estate to be closed. My father would not of gone to wbw if he had known how awkward they are. And how much of his estate has gone into wbw. So think twice before using this solicitors

Appalling, lack of attention to detail, on almost every aspect. They do not communicate effectively with customers or other any other party. You only get information from them when you chase.

If you want to be part of a conveyor belt service use them. If you want due diligence paid to your legal matters, I would avoid at all costs. If I am totally honest, I am not sure what it is I have paid for in terms of service fees, as the service was so poor.

I think once upon a time, they where a good firm. They are no longer. I certainly will not use this company for anything again.

My family and I found ourselves in rather an unfortunate situation due to the complete incompetence of our house builder and the conveyancer we used to purchased our home from them. Thankfully we were lucky enough to work with WBW's Darren and Emily in their Newton Abbot office, who not only resolved the issue but also played a key role in our getting compensation from the third party responsible for the original errors.
Yet what is most commendable is the way Darren and Emily handled the situation with us, they were both friendly, kind, patient, understanding and highly professional. They are both a credit to WBW, their profession and most importantly themselves. Five star doesn't seem enough!

We used Sharon at WBW to help sell my father’s bungalow. Sharon gave us good and timely advice. She provided us with a very efficient and professional service throughout and helped expedite the sale when the buyers wanted an earlier exchange / completion.

He really did make what was a difficult process as seamless as it could have been.We have moved several times and I have never experienced a solicitor so constant and helpful. They were very friendly as well as very professional. I hadn't moved for 20 years and they informed me of all the steps and what would happen. We communicated mostly by email and phone which I found ideal. The chain was quite long with many delays but they kept me updated and supported me all the way.
