Tried booking Christmas Day dinner for 2024 booked back in beginning sept couldn’t pay a deposit as had to wait there reply that took 3 weeks to find couldn’t pay over the phone or nothing they only accepted cash wasn’t even allowed to choose a 2 course
So decided to cancel the Christmas dinner altogether never book with these again

I would highly recommend coming for food here , as fabulous food , good value , Shannon was very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome

No reply to my complaint WHB-2292989-J2C6  on numerous occasions absolute disgrace, booked a breakfast meal for 4 people at the beefeater Albert in Colchester prior to a annual trip to London, we all arrived in separate taxis, when entering the restaurant we were told there was no chief and they were not serving breakfast, we were extremely disappointed as we had not received any contact from the restaurant even though I had supplied a contact number and email address when booking, if the would of had the courtesy of contacting us we would of booked somewhere else instead of wasting over £30 on taxis. would of thought they would at least have the decency to apologise.

I have emailed several times over the past 2 weeks to complain that they have taken away my stash of beefeater rewards points but haven't had any reply. For a company the size of Whitbread, surely their customer service department has a couple of people who can send quick replies to customers. It could be the difference between a one-star review and, perhaps, a 3 or 4-star review. People don't mind problems occurring if the company tries to rectify it, or at least make a nice gesture of some sort, but just ignoring polite complaints is stupid.

Stay in premiere inn cleethropes roof leaked in water from overflowing bathin room above us. Complained as we where moved to grimsby which is a dump! Only got 43.00 of our cash back ruined our break! We won't be using premiere inn again there customer service is crap ! Grimsby is out of town and we had to pay for parking. No lifts or air con and it's a contractors hotel full of mn who swear in every sentence! Your customers service is a bloody joke I am not impressed.

Having been thoroughly impressed with the Premier Inns we stayed at (especially Sunbury) I decided to invest in shares with Whitbread, but the customer service towards investors is nothing like the standard in Premier Inn and is appalling. I was supposed to receive a shareholder benefit card, but had to chase. They forgot to send me a new one, and mine expired while we were on holiday, staying 21 nights in Premier Inn. They refused to send it to me at the Premier Inn (which they own!) and then ignored my emails and calls. They did nothing whatsoever to support or assist and could not have cared less that I would be missing out on the shareholder benefits for the three weeks of staying in their hotels, they were completely disinterested to the point of ignoring me.

manager at the kent branch threw the chair at an elderly disabled person because she asked to sit down while waiting for a table, then threw the plate off food on our table when we asked how long the food would be, lets say hes lucky. ended up walking out without paying or eating the food after that, complaints department and management backing this tall weasel with his dirty ponytail they didn't want to share the cctv with me even doe they have a legal duty to do so, i would have shared this on youtube, anyway this company should be closed down, i should sue you peeple for this treatment

I ate at The Warrener in Thetford with my family today and I have to say what a wonderful experience I had. I have an unusual food allergy but I have to say how fantastic Conor and the catering staff were. I told them about my allergy and was given the allergen list of the menu but unfortunately my allergy wasn't on there but that didn't stop the staff from making sure anything I ordered wouldn't affect me. They were brilliant and I can't fault their eye for detail on the ingredients in the menu.

Stayed at blossom street in York . Was ok room clean ect . Only not so good was when we was in restaurant a man was choking and staff just walked past him not bothered if it wasn’t for myself and my friend giving him immediate first aid he could of potentially died … staff need to observe more

My experience with Whitbread in the UK has been disappointing. Their hotel accommodations often fall short of expectations, with issues ranging from cleanliness to customer service. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Whitbread based on my experiences.

A friend and I had an evening meal out at the warrener in Thetford. We were very pleased with our time there. I asked to move table as I was struggling with the music sitting near a speaker, it was no trouble. Our waiter Scott was very friendly, professional and helpful. Thanks Scott. We were very pleased with our meal, it came in good time, nicely cooked and we'll be coming back. Thank you 🙂

Went to the Roundhouse pub and restaurant in Littlehampton this evening, with my wife and daughters. We were very much weary from a long day out! The quality of the food and service was impeccable, would definately return if the opportunity arose again. We'd like Whitbread to know that it was Saskia, Candy and Nick who looked after us so well 😊

The only way Whitbread could improve is if they shut down for good.

Stayed in two Premier Inn hotels over the last two weeks (Rhuddlan and Sale Manchester) and both were pretty shocking. Very run down and tired, tired and fed up staff and stingy with the basics such as tea bags etc, but that was nothing compared to the abject misery that is their restaurants, Table Table and Brewers Fayre. The most miserable experience we've ever had, cold food, hardly any of it, dirty tables, food all over the carpets, miserable fed up staff (again) and a soulless experience all round.

Explain to me why you still insist on being the wetherspoons of B&B's, instead of just paying your overworked and underpaid staff a living wage?
I was only there as it's where my service user stays and they choose, but I avoid you like the plague otherwise because you treat your staff like they are in fact, the plague.
I worked there for 2 hours 10 years ago until I found out I wasn't getting the tips I had already made because I'd just started, you're disgusting and need everything you own burnt down.
All the staff did amazingly as they always do, since you probably sack them for the smallest hiccup, but it's not good enough. Nobody on minimum wage should be doing the amount of hours you insist on, never mind a bar/restaurant close down and then to open for breakfast the next morning without even being offered a room!!!!!
And after all that, you ask your customers to save old towels, bedsheets and water and demand that they say before 12 if they want their room cleaned😂

Brilliant service from Floor Staff Zane and Dave and from barmaid Sophie and Duty Manager Stacey. Have stayed and visited here many times before. Brilliant hard working, friendly, efficient team. Lovely quality meals thanks to the hard working chefs. Good value for money, better than Beefeater. Great coast views location. 😀👍

Overcharged for barely warm food served by unhelpful, rude staff.
I have emailed and completed online query form 4 times since visit on 20th January 2024 and have yet to receive a “human” response. Each time I have received an automated reply . NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Spent over £300 on Christmas Dinner in their Beefeater Hamilton ot was absolutely awful, the bread sticks (stale sliced bread) was unbeatable even after being left in the soup they were solid none of us could eat it, the seafood platter had 5 small prawns lots of lettuce and a tiny slither of salmon. The main meal was awful the vegetables were all cold including the potatoes also hard inside, the turkey was cheap sliced stuff you would get at a supermarkets Christmas Dinner it was disgusting and very disappointing. Then the lady serving us said our after eight ice creams would be out soon, straight away I said we did not mark on the pre order form after eight icecream as I don't like mint,she actually stood there telling me I definitely did order it and that was all they had, luckily I had a photo of our pre order form as I had sent it to my family member to see what they wanted so I could mark the form. Straight away the lady's attitude changed she went to see if they had any millionaire portfolios left at 3pm sitting she came back and said the kitchen had managed to get our desserts sorted but what we were served were definitely not millionaire portfolios they had used chocolate sauce and toffee sauce with nasty off tasting portfolios, probably found them at the back of the freezer. I emailed the company and got a reply almost a month later apologising and offering me a £20 voucher to use in 1 of their restaurants in the next 3 months!needless to say I definitely won't be using your pitiful excuse to amend my spoiled Christmas Dinner with a pocky voucher £20 really, keep it.
