3 giorni fantastici con Griffyndor
6 adulti-3 bambini, abbiamo noleggiato un Dufour 530, barca nuovissima con tutti i comfort del caso, procedure di check-in/out snelle e puntuali.
Abbiamo avuto un problema con il salpa ancora, risolto velocemente attraverso l'assistenza.
Ci rivedremo prestissimo!!!!!!

Ci fa molto piacere sapere che le procedure di check-in e check-out sono state rapide e puntuali, e siamo contenti che, nonostante il piccolo inconveniente con il salpa ancora, il nostro team sia riuscito a risolverlo rapidamente per permettervi di godervi al massimo il vostro tempo in mare.

The people at the base were very…
The people at the base were very friendly, that's for sure. The paperwork to do is supid. The boat was OK, with different little issues, like everywhere. I had the boat for 3 weeks with Crew change after a week and they charched us harbour fee! It's only the first and last night included. But the they took the money for cleaning after a week...... The base was at Punta Nuraghe...not protected at all and the worst marina I have ever been! And to finish, they accused me for damaging the bowthrust and wanted to keep the deposit, but the diver gave the OK, that it was not my fault. This was the 3rd and last Charter at Yachting in Sardinia

Great sailing at Sardinia and Corsica
We made a number of trips with Yachting in Sardinia. Overall, a good experience. The boats were in good shape, occasionally minor issues, that could be fixed before departure. They have a nice team, and they provided good support while we were away. We like the Dufour boats. Good sailing performance and comfortable stay on board. The area (North Sardinia, South Corsica) is one of the most beautiful sailing regions in the world.

Deposit fraud
I have considered this charter company several times and was actually generally satisfied except for the constant small defects on the yachts. But what I experienced in June 2024 was clearly deposit fraud. There was no communication at all with the charter company to clarify the matter, which is absolutely absurd. I will never consider this charter company again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

No invoice from liability insurance for damage
We had a small damage and put a down payment for 500€. 2 years and many mails later, I learned that they did not report it to their liability insurance, and therefore cannot send me a copy of that invoice. They send me a normal invoice, which is not accepted by my skipper insurance.

Il Bali era in ottimo stato, praticamente nuovo, e i dettagli dell'accoglienza come sempre sono stati ottimo. Poca navigazione a vela ma tanto confort. Ideale per gli amanti del genere..
Tender perfetto con motore sempre funzionante e l'ottima location hanno fatto si che la vacanza fosse ottima e facile.. Non abbiamo mai avuto bisogno di assistenza se non all'ingresso del porto al rientro a causa di un colpo di vento, ma abbiamo risolto al meglio.

Bad experience
The boat (Dufour 530) was in a bad condition. A lot of scratches, probably because of the bow thruster that didn't work, probably. We had to wait for hours until the most important things were fixed. Seal of rooftop window, Navigation lights, fridge, bow thruster. The out border did not work properly the whole week and after telling the staff, Yachting in Sardinia wanted us to pay for the repair. I told two friends of mine not to book at Yachting in Sardinia.

Vacanza senza pensieri
La Sardegna non ha bisogno di incentivi in quanto meta nautica, ma sicuramente la scelta della società di charter fa la differenza. Prenotato con un gruppo di amici un 4 cabine + skipper a Giugno, ci siamo trovati benissimo. E' stata una vera e propria vacanza, non ci siamo dovuti preoccupare di nulla, se non di mangiare e divertirci! Il sistema di "pre check-in" permette di arrivare in base con tutta la parte burocratica già conclusa, lo skipper si è occupato della parte tecnica e avevamo già preso accordi per l'itinerario. La barca era pronta prima del previsto, avevamo anche ordinato la cambusa, già consegnata, quindi siamo saliti a bordo, caricato i bagagli e il meteo ci ha permesso di trascorrere già la prima notte in rada. Spettacolo! La barca era inoltre provvista di dissalatore e potabilizzatore, quindi abbiamo risparmiato in acqua e ridotto l'uso della plastica. La società fornisce inoltre tutte le info prima dell'arrivo in base, quindi se dedicherete un pò di tempo alla lettura, non avrete sorprese nè imprevisti, ma potrete organizzare tutto per il meglio. Assolutamente consigliati!

Great Charter company
Our boat and all the others we could see were in perfect shape. Communication was great and the whole organisation of the Pickup and Return was one the best we had. They automatically contacted us in advance with all relevant info and there was always someone easily reachable for questions. We will definitely charter here again.

The yachts are well-equipped, but everything else is a disaster. I’m describing Marina Punta Nuraghe—other marinas may be slightly better, but not by much. The staff is a failure, there’s no infrastructure whatsoever, and the contract clauses are shocking and illegal.

Making Money after return of the boat
Like many other customers, we were charged on arrival for cruising „no-go-areas“ we definetly never sailed in. In additon they charged us for a poorly fixed bench, that broke on sea and almost hurt a Crew member seriously. The bench had been fixed by 3 screws that broke out. Now we were charged 300.- for repair what was already broken and just fixed like by amateurs.
A lost plastic bucket was charged with 50.- Euros. Similar experience a year ago. No answers on questioning after charging the credit Card by the Company.
Never again. There are much better companies around.

Charging clients
Hi, I am upset by the company because they charged us on my deposit afterwards without any discussion.
People need to be clearly advised that their course will be followed by GPS. Nobody warned me that it was the case and I thought this was a way to warn you and not to charge you afterwards.
For the zones we were not supposed to pass: I saw the paper but the person in charge of the chartering in Portisco told me that it was not important. I looked at them but find only some in the Maddalena archipelago which was not our destination. So, I probably missed some of them that were in the south and only took them as a warning.
But during the trip, I always have 2/3 GPS running (one on a personal tablet and my phone) and I am constantly aware of potential dangers.
If you look on the picture you sent we only tangented the zone really!
In this exact sail (the one from the picture), the wind was blowing from east, moving us away from the rocks. I decided thus as a skipper that it was not a risky situation and I still think so. On the top I know the place very well because I have been there in several occasions during the last years. I actually anchored very close and swim that area a few years ago so I knew exactly where the rocks are located.
For the night sailing, it was not decided in advance. We first anchored in front of the blue caves in Orosei Gulf. But after some time, I realized that it would be an uncomfortable night for the crew if we stayed there without protection (small waves from east). So, I decided, because I am used to it and because it was calm weather conditions to continue north in the evening. Also we postponed our departure because we helped two swimmers that were in trouble for swimming back to Cala Gonone. In our initial plan we wanted to stop before the end of daylight (in the area of spiaggia barone) but because I didn’t know the place good enough and because it was dark then I thus decided to go further to La Caletta that I knew best because in my opinion it is easier to anchor at night there. So I admit that we sailed at night but for safety reasons (helping the swimers + approaching an unknown beach in late evenning)
For the return, of the boat, we waited for more than 1 hour for the gas and the kids were upset and wanted to have a last swim. I decided to go for a 15min trip north to have a swim next to a beach I already know. I think we were back to the harbor around 4:30/5 pm, no more!
I then called the marina and they told me we were on the list by VHF. And then one of the fancy Superyacht named Better Space decided to enter the marina just at this busy time!
The marina crew helped Better Space to maneuver and CLOSED the marina FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS. Look at the GPS Track if you have it. We waited at the entrance with many other chartering boats. I feel realy bad to be charged for that.
I hope these explanations are good enough and I am ready to furnish you with extra required explanations.
I want to inform possible future clients. This is something that I am very reluctant to do usually because I fully understand the difficulty of your job. But it is unfair to charge people on their deposit afterwards when the boat is return in the exact conditions it was taken.
