I am frustrated with the lack of response from them. This was supposed to be a straightforward purchase. Their communication ethics is a waste of time and the person initially dealing with me left and it took two weeks of calling and emailing before I knew about this.
I have to constantly contact them, often without response, to get any update and it seems like they don't know what they are supposed to do until you mention it.
I have written to their 'complaints dept' and am still awaiting a response.
They appear to be an 'AI' generated law firm with no aspect of human interaction.
Not too sure where they get all the good reviews, if you have a choice I would you suggest that you avoid them.

It is our first time purchasing property in UK and XYZ Law was referred by our estate agent. Once we got assigned to Nitesh to follow-up on our case and got his direct contact details, the communications has become much easier. Nitesh was very responsive and we always received his reply on the same day, which helped a lot to speed up the process and relieve our stress.

I cannot stress enough how knowledgeable and thorough Kassam is. After a previous property falling through, and the solicitors at the time unable to provide a clear explanation as to why, I was very hesitant in find a new purchase and new solicitors. I was recommended Kassam via a family member, and I’m so glad I ventured into working with XYZ law. Kassam explained everything in such detail that, for a complete beginner in the field of property, was understandable and clear, even to the extent of finally understanding why the previous place fell through! We engaged XYZ for the sale of our house and since I was looking for a simultaneous exchange and completion on the next property I opted to also work with them on this. The time was extremely tight with the 1of April deadline and my case solicitor Naeema was honest that there was a slim chance everything would align in time during an extremely busy period. It did! In a calm, courteous and patient way managed to navigate through many challenges and I am happily in my new home. Very grateful - she is a real gem - would recommend.

I dealt with Francis at XYZ law. He was brilliant from start to finish. Kept me in the loop with a tricky Leasehold situation and kept following up with all parties involved to make sure that everything was moving along as quickly as possible to make deadlines. I have to reveal that I am in a chain and our buyers are using this solicitor. A few days ago they stopped replying to emails from our solicitor, their client and the sales progression team. The solicitor is Sadiq.
Today on exchange day they emailed to say after all this that the file has not been seen by the compliance team and will not be complete by 31st of march. This will cost their client some money, it will cost us 2.5k. Everyone is ready, and there seems to be no valid reason for this. Reading reviews this seems like quite a frequent modus operandi, cut contact when things get urgent.
This is not ok!
Edit: they have contacted me and are trying to resolve the situation. I will update in due course.

I have used XYZ said law a few times and I have received outstanding convencying service from Naeema Jinwala a true asset to your team. Naeema communicated via phone and email on a regular basis, a true professional. I look forward to doing repeat business with Naeema.
