I honestly can’t recommend ZFN Chartered Surveyors highly enough. If you’re searching for the best surveyor in London, this is it.

From the very first interaction, the level of responsiveness was in a different league compared to every other surveying company I contacted. Calls were returned immediately, emails answered clearly and quickly, and there was no chasing needed at any stage. In a stressful buying process, that alone makes a huge difference.

We were arranging a RICS house survey in London, and what stood out most was how genuine and human the service felt. Not salesy, not rushed, just clear advice and straight answers. You really feel you’re dealing with someone who actually cares about doing things properly.

The real standout moment was when I had to cancel one of my surveys with them at the very last minute due to circumstances outside my control. Without hesitation, no arguments, and no small print, I was fully refunded. When I thanked him, he simply said he does this because it’s how he would expect to be treated himself. That tells you everything.

I had an excellent experience. The survey was thorough and the final report was detailed, easy to understand, and included lots of helpful pictures. Fayyaz provided outstanding communication throughout. He was very responsive on WhatsApp both before and after the survey, patiently answering all my questions in detail. The turnaround time was quick, the price was very reasonable, and the service overall was professional and reassuring. Highly recommend!

ZFN Surveyors carried out a survey for a home I’m buying. They were very clear from the beginning by providing an example report so that we knew what to expect. When the report was finally issued, we had some follow up queries which were responded to in a timely manner. I would highly recommend ZFN for the professionalism and efficiency.

Zaid was very prompt to respond to my initial enquiry. Very responsive to text messages and very pleasant to deal with. Prompt also in organising access with the estate agent for the survey. Provided a voice note immediately after he had visited the property, so we had a good idea of what we were dealing with straight away. Receipt of the written survey report took a little longer than anticipated, but maybe we were in too much of a hurry! All in all a very fair price and good overall view of property condition and any defects/upgrading required.

Very good to work with. Communication was good and provided a very detailed explanation of his >70 page report and work to remedy. Knowledge is very broad so allowed for ranging discussion. Offered up availability to match mine and welcomed others joining calls to discuss his report. Also generally had a nice manner which allows for a better discussion around his analysis. Would 100% recommend.

My experience with ZFN Surveyors was excellent from the very first interaction to the end of the transaction. Zaid was very clear and direct and even suggested the right service level in ordering the survey. The expectation was very clear upfront and it already established trust with ZFN. They were able to accommodate my rushed time frame, and arrived on time for the survey. At the end, I received a report within the time frame, and it was very thorough and complete. They satisfied all my expectations including value on money and I would highly recommend them to others.

I messaged ZFN surveyors for a homebuyer survey. Zaid got back to me quickly and asked if I would be comfortable corresponding over WhatsApp. After I send over my details, he was quick to review the property using Google Maps photos and provide free tips and feedback to my questions. I asked a few follow up questions and he answered them quickly and professionally. Since I had lived in the property I was going to purchase for six years already, he actually said that a homebuyer survey wouldn't produce much value for me and he recommended I save that money. He was very professional, courteous, and I appreciated that he was honest with me about the value of the home buyer survey rather than taking my money unnecessarily. I ended up not getting a survey, but really appreciated the quick professional advice that Zaid had for me. It's rare to find good, professional advice nowadays without having to pay for it out the nose, and I will be sure to recommend ZFN to others.

We used Zaid from ZFN for our new build survey, and he was fast and professional. His very detailed and thorough survey left nothing to be desired and saved us a lot of trouble down the line. Would recommend.

Zaid conducted a building survey for me in Greenwich in June 2023. Zaid's inspection is very thorough and highlighted a lot of defects that I miss during my viewing. The building survey report is a bespoke report rather than the traditional level 2 or 3 reports. Whilst the report is very detailed, Zaid explains things in a easily understandable manner. The service provided by Zaid is superb. He very accommodating and goes out of the way to explain things to you over a phone call that helped alleviate any worries I had. In my particular instance, there was problems with the roof and he was very patient going through his findings. After further inspections from a roofer I was able to get £10k off the asking price.

Highly recommend ZFN if you need a survey conducted!
