Avoid Collect in Store

I arranged to collect on 11th February, this was the date in my confirmation email. Visited the local store after 14:00hrs where I'd arranged to collect the items to find they hadn't been delivered. The staff in the store tried to help but it didn't seem straightforward to be able to change things. They had some of the items I'd ordered in stock at the store so they said I could take those and refunded the cost of the other item I'd ordered.
On 12th February I had a message from Royal Mail with the tracking details for the parcel, I contacted Customer service about this as you can't contact the local store directly even though the 'phone number is a local one, you have to listen to a menu to be told to ring another number.
13th February I received a text from Boots to tell me my parcel had arrived even though the assistant in store had left a message for her colleagues about it. The message system doesn't allow replies. I no longer require the items as I told Customer Service on 12th February.
I'm just very disappointed at the lack of competence, Boots used to be a decent company plus I've never had any problems with their deliveries to my home address.

Slow Process

Firstly the company I ordered from were very slow processing and sending my order which ended up being delivered in multiple packages after cajoling them. Then my delivery has been weather affected- not your fault but when I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for the delivery I don't feel particularly positive about the experience. I think the driver just ran out of time for delivery of my parcel on 25th and 26th November. The chat info was helpful.

Delayed repeatedly

Order delayed repeatedly, they keep asking for reviews when the product hasn't been received which is very frustrating for a disappointed customer. I haven't had a good experience with this company,

Waiting

I'm waiting for my order to be completed. It was delayed and now because of weather is further delayed.

Ultimately, the courier has a primary duty of care for their staff, and if they deem conditions will affect the safety of their drivers, we have to trust in their judgement, despite the unfortunate inconvenience caused

Thank you for your feedback. However, I just wanted to confirm that all your order, minus 1 product, was delivered on 8th November, and this was acknowledged by yourself in an email on 11th November.

The remaining item is due for delivery, but has unfortunately been delayed due to the weather, which is unfortunately out of our hands.

Dreadful first experience.

Slow delivery and communication. I really wanted to like this company but my first ordering experience has been dreadful. They keep asking for reviews when I haven't received all of the order- very poor practice.

Disappointing

I really wanted to be positive about this company however, my experience has been disappointing. Firstly I'd ordered sample packs which it turns out haven't been available for a while yet were not marked as out of stock, Miniml gave me a discount voucher to use but when I tried to use it I couldn't because there was an offer on the products I'd ordered. I then placed an order which took a week to arrive - longer than most. You've now asked me to review yet I'm still waiting for outstanding items from the order, I emailed you about one of the items and have had no response.One of the products is out of stock the others aren't yet you haven't contacted me to advise when I will receive them.

Great experience

Bought insurance via the comparison site. I was a little uncertain as I'd had problems with a previous quote I'd done for a family member once I transferred to the insurance provider's site- Go compare have been exemplary in their response to this issue.
I'm pleased to say the quote was the same on the insurance provider's site and was competitive.

Beware Disappointing

Quotes for insurance, aren't what they seem, the quote was £200 more expensive once I was on the insurance company's site.

Paint on MDF doors

Had an English Rose, Omega kitchen fitted in March 2022. In less than a year cracks and peeling appeared on doors, these were replaced. The kitchen has painted MDF doors. Now in less than 6 months further peeling and cracks are appearing on some of the doors and particularly that of the integrated dishwasher door which was replaced.
I question the suitability of the type of door for kitchens from my experience. Kitchens are not just to be admired they are meant to be functional and should be durable. I have received excellent service from the supplier. The quality of the product is very disappointing, Painted kitchen doors should last longer than 18 months and should resist scratching and steam.

Impressive speed of delivery

Very happy with speed of service. One minor annoyance - it would be helpful if it were stated clearly that one of the shipping print outs is to be enclosed in the parcel, I had placed my surname and post code inside the parcel but had to unpack to enclose the one you required. Great tracking information. I was unnecessarily apprehensive about sending parcel.

Service Desk Staff Attitude

Delayed flight from Rome to Frankfurt due to weather problems delaying incoming aircraft, therefore missed connecting flight from Frankfurt to Birmingham. No Lufthansa desk air side at Rome to give any assistance, difficult to get hold of support . Misleading information given on flight suggesting that because so many delays very likely the connecting flight would also be delayed. Missed connecting flight and advised to go to service desk- very poor directions given but after about 40 minutes found the relevant desk. The representative semed to think that because they'd arranged overnight accommodation and transport to the accommodation that everything was fine, very abrupt and no empathy whatsoever - just because delays are normal for the staff they shouldn't assume they are for their customers. There should have been someone guiding customers to the service desks.

Extending Insurance

I needed to extend the insurance for a further day as a flight delay meant I missed my connecting flight. I was able to do this successfully.
4 stars as first two calls I was cut off while the agent was checking information( not necessarily their fault). It would be helpful if they could email customers of relevant information so that they don't need to phone multiple times to resolve the issue.

Appalling

Unsuccessfully tried to pay in a Worcester car park as coin slot on machine wouldn't accept coins and contactless wasn't working. Could install app but couldn't pay, my husband eventually able to install app on his phone . No transparency about the additional service/ convenience charge they apply.
