Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service, I have been trying for months to get a particular set of their tyres for a project I am building, have been told several times through Facebook that 'someone' will call me and sort it out, they never have, like talking to a brick wall! This company has obviously got too big for the small customers now, you will see their name plastered all over big events and big performers, but an individual is ignored! The UK site does not even have an obvious means by which to contact them! I know they won't care but I am now moving to a different brand as I cannot keep waiting on them!

What an absolute waste of time these …

What an absolute waste of time these people are! Been talking to them for weeks about my very specific order, I get total assurances that I will get what I ordered, and these are not the cheapest people by a long way, and guess what! After all this time they have let me down and tried to palm me off with something else!
They have also agreed to cancel my order and give me a full refund which I still have not received!
This company never even tried to find a solution to the problem they caused, will not give me a time for collection and are in every way a company to avoid!
By the way, the wrong tyres they sent me were £150 more expensive than elsewhere so they are not cheap by a very long way!
A month after ordering I am still waiting for them to sort this mess out!
Also funny when they respond to these reviews and say that "money has been refunded to your account", but it is not there! Cannot believe a word these people say!

Viator are an awful company

Viator are an awful company, it took a while due to their appalling communications but eventually we booked two things through them for our recent family group dream trip to New York, they lied about both things causing us major embarrassment and disappointment, they also charged us a premium for something they did not deliver, they asked me for the details of my complaint, never heard a thing after that, incompetent, liars and conmen! Do not trust these people, they will take your money and then do not care what happens.

Appalling service

Appalling service, they are cheap for a reason! I have had issues with the people picking up the parcels, issues with delivery times and more recently I have had a parcel held by them whilst they demand further payment claiming the parcel was heavier than declared, no means to contact them to discuss, just demand for payment, and I know for a fact that they are lying, I know what was in that parcel, you can even seen online how much they weigh but they are claiming for 5kg on top! Which is a ridiculous amount, had to pay the surcharge as no one to talk to and they were basically holding me to ransom, terrible company, no customer interface, do not care.

By way of an update, it is a fact that Parcel2go lied over the weight of the parcel for which I have total proof backed up by others, they charged me a lot of extra money and held me to ransom, and they are denying all this, these people have taken money under false pretences which basically makes them criminals, Please avoid these people, it is not worth the hassle or expense to try and save a few pounds, they will let you down, lie to you and in the end cost your more money and blemish your reputation with your customers over delivery issues.

Wow, have you seen the patronising response? I have sent thousands of parcels over the years and NEVER got one wrong, I also like how quick YOU were to demand a surcharge and how quick you are to DENY any responsibility for the mistake YOU have made! I have registered a complaint as you suggested and I have witnesses to your incompetence, I will publish the outcome for everyone to see!

I’m sorry to hear about your frustration with this extra charge. Unfortunately, these charges are beyond our control.

Because our couriers carry hundreds of thousands of parcels a day, there’s a very slim margin for error when it comes to declared parcel sizes. Couriers issue surcharges for under-declared parcels in order to compensate for the extra time it takes to process them.

If you feel you have grounds to dispute this charge, you can do so here - https://www.parcel2go.com/content/surcharge-info

To avoid these charges in future, we’d advise rounding up your parcel measurements when declaring the size and weight. This should compensate for discrepancies between your measurement and the courier’s.

I needed a part for one of my trail cameras and it was becoming a bit of a mystery as to who could help, after dealing with a few time wasters I came across these guys at Browning Branded, David made getting the part a simple and straightforward process, he just sorted it! Excellent service.

The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing! Waste of time!

Ordered 'Rough Faced' concrete gravel boards, posts and postcrete online, order passed to Colchester branch who did not stock the 'Rough Faced' gravel boards and changed the order to 'Recessed' with no communication, so order arrives and the gravel boards are wrong, I checked my online order to make sure I was not going mad, contacted Colchester who proceeded to tell me they do not stock 'Rough Faced'! In fact no one stocks it down south! And apparently I could order some but I would have to order a pack of 36!!! Far too many for my requirements! Contact Customer Services who eventually tell me the same things! And even though they have messed me about and wasted my time they can't even be bothered to send me what I wanted in the right amount! So they agree to refund me the whole order once we clarified that half an order was no good! I then get a call from the Colchester branch saying they have been contacted to refund me for the gravel boards only!! Really? So eventually convince them that I want a full refund as half an order is no good! Déjà vu! Basically a complete waste of time, can't be bothered to correct the situation, not even sure what refund I am getting! Life is too short to waste on dealing with Travis Perkins, go somewhere else!

Ok part two: Yep, I knew I should not hold my breath!
You all saw the response below from Travis Perkins (now renamed to Tragic Perkins), well I did as asked and all they have done is pass the buck back to the Colchester depot which is ridiculous as the do not stock the items as stated earlier. Apparently there is no one in the 'Customer Services' office who can sort this until Monday, so they obviously have Fridays off! Nice! So even their replies to these poor reviews are just hot air! Stay tuned!

Pathologically incompetent - Continuing ...........

The full story, in the beginning!
We bought a repossession property which needed a LOT of work doing so we approached Wren to install 2 kitchens and a built-in bedroom wardrobe, all a complete disaster, bits missing, took months to finish (still not all good!), rude and incompetent installers, lies upon lies etc. Absolute nightmare!

But we were assured by the 'top men' that changes would be made and all that garbage! And at the end of the day the product is good.

So recently we needed one more project done, a simple utility room, and we thought there was no way Wren could mess-up 4 times in a row, surely? Well, we told the store staff all about our previous experiences and we were further assured that a lot had changed and we would be in good hands! Oh dear!

Our pre-fit inspection was done by 'Installer 1', he decided that we needed further bits and pieces added to our original order to "ensure the job was done properly", he also corrected a parts error that would have given us different sized cupboards! Following this we went to the store and made our final payment, plus paid for the extra's that had been added, which were not cheap! Following this we get our 'Final Installation Pack' emailed with 'Installer 1' as the named fitter.

Then I received another 'Final Installation Pack', this time with a different fitter name, let's call him 'Installer 2'.

Then I received another 'Final Installation Pack', you guessed it, this time it was another name, this one we will call 'Installer 3'.

Anyway, Installation day is the 7th March 2016, all the stuff is here, carefully checked off with the delivery guys the previous week, 9:00am, just waiting for 'Installer 3' to arrive. 9:15 still waiting. 9:30 still waiting. 9:45 still waiting. 10:00 still waiting! Surely Wren have not done us over again! I ring 'Installer 3' to ask his estimated time of arrival, he asks who I am, I respond, "I am the guy who is waiting for you to turn up and fit my utility room!", he apologises and points out that he knows nothing about my installation and he will call Wren to find out what is happening! So I call the guy in charge of Installation Planning in this area only to find he is no longer with the company! Nor is 'Installer 1' by the way! I point out what has happened and am told it will be sorted out, I ask to be put through to whoever is now in charge but they would not!

Long story short, 'Installer 3' turns up the following day and does a good job of putting our utility room together, but, you remember those 'extra' items that were added to my order by 'Installer 1', they are still sitting here, all that extra money for nothing!

AND NOT ONCE HAVE I HEARD FROM ANY MEMBER OF WREN MANAGEMENT TO APOLOGISE FOR YET ANOTHER FARCICAL SHOW!

Then I recently did the review on here under the above ref number to which Wren replied, but I thought it was essential for potential customers to know that even in their reply they got their facts wrong, so even when faced with what I considered a 'stinging and damaging' review, they still tried to smooth over with an ill-considered response, the dates and facts in their response were wrong, much like their service! It is also worth noting how staged their website is these days, when Wren first started you could leave comments, you could even 'message' their directors if there was something wrong, that has all shutdown. It really is a shambolic company running behind a façade of fake calm and engineered fascia.

Please note all these points before you deal with Wren, if you still decide to do so, I will update this further if anyone at Wren actually 'grows any' and gets in touch with me.

We understand that you purchased from ourselves in 2014 and have subsequently purchased from ourselves in 2016 to carry out a kitchen installation and these products arrived on Thursday 7th March and the installer is due to start tomorrow.

We apologise for any breakdown of communication that has taken place and that you were not contacted sooner following your delivery, this is something that has been brought to the attention of the Installation Team based at head office. When purchasing the utility this time around, regrettably the installer appointed to your job was no longer available and therefore a new installer was appointed. It is clear that this was not effectively communicated to you and we apologise for the resulting day lost on installation.

We understand that the utility room was installed and is complete and as you are aware, your issues are going to be addressed via the head of the Installation team and we profusely apologise that you feel that this has caused you frustration once again. Please be advised that a full response shall be provided to you in due course.
