Very dodgy and poor customers accounts
I bought a few things. I logged in but could not find my previous orders to see that they do not charge more than expected. I tried to order many things and added them to my basket. Nothing appears at the checkout payment. The item was repacked, and the package was torn. I want to see all orders. Different prices are shown and different in the basket.

Dirty Sales Tactics.
I am on their email list. I just got an email that B.P. Monitor for £2.60 and when I clicked it to add to my basket, it changed to £6.41. I do not understand. It appears to be a tactic to lure customers.

I paid for my item Weed wacker
I paid for my item, a Weed wacker, on 01/12 and am still waiting for my parcel. Tried to contact by phone number 02036995024, but no good. My order no. is 91249229 and the amount paid was £11.69. I have also tried WhatsApp, but there has been no reply. I am 93 years old. The above details were provided by my Bank. Here is the receipt that you sent me: Your Voucher receipt for the order 50786017 is here!

Very poor quality service.
I have been a Talktalk customer for many years. Recently, I went for a full fibre that would give me 950 Mbps speed, but I get only 50 or so. Their telephone line on the digital pad keeps breaking, and I am unable to make or receive calls. I have made complaints many times, but there has been no improvement.

THINK THREE TIMES BEFORE ORDERING ONLINE WITH DEBIT CARD.
I placed my online order with my Debit Card, and the Poundshop was promoting a dodgy onthatass.com company, luring people with free to £1. I didn't know that and added Boxer Trunks with my order. After a while, a Boxer trunk turned up, and after a month, another turned up. I didn't check my Bank account. Next month, another turned up, and I checked my account and there was a charge of £11.99 for two months. I was scammed out of 2 £ 11.99 x. I contacted the customer service of Poundshop, and the girl was very rude. She told me that ONTHATASS was a good company. I tried to contact them, but in vain. No email or telephone number. Poundshop girl told me that there is one and she would send me a link, but she didn't. I am 93 years old, and you can well imagine the stress it has caused. I asked Poundshop for a refund for introducing such a bad company, but they would not. This ONTHATASS.COM company is a scammer luring people with FREE socks and other items. You can see them outright. It is a great shame for PoundShop to introduce such a scam company. I will write to Action Fraud as well.

Hometree did my outdoor kitchen door
Hometree did my outdoor kitchen door, which wasn't locking properly, and it wasn't long ago. Today, I booked again because the door is still giving problems, and it is hard to lock. I booked it on the website fine, but someone called me asking about the problem again. I told the lady, and she said she would let the manager know before deciding. The manager rang me, refusing to sort it out that IT IS not an emergency. I paid an annual which was overcharged. When I reminded them about the discount they are offering, she promised to refund me £44 or so into my account. Nothing has gone through. It is better to go with HomeServe and pay £30 or so for a call out than this good-for-nothing service. It happened last time they refused, and afterwards did it. Bad customer service cheating people.

My internet speed is supposed to be around 950mbps but not so.
My internet speed is supposed to be 950mbps, but I hardly get 100mbps, which is very low. So, I rang the technical team, and they arranged for the engineer to visit me. I asked them twice if there would be any charge to me to make sure, and they confirmed that it would be a FREE visit. But my Bill added his visit charge of £75 or so. The engineer was not helpful at all than testing the Eero speed on his mobile. I just tested the speed on fast.com and it is around 330mbps well below 950 or so. On my PC Win10, it is around 70. He didn't help me install the Eero app on my PC. So, I didn't sign his worksheet. This has happened twice telling you no charge but charging.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES
I just rang customer services today to re-arrange the visit of the Gas Man to give certificate for the Boiler for my tenant. On his last visit, my tenant's credit on electricity had run out and she went to buy from the shop hardly 5 minutes away but the Gas Man didn't wait and went for the next job. My tenant told me that he will do it next week but nothing was done. The customer services man didn't give me his name and spelt it fast which I could not catch as I am 92 years old. Now, He disconnected me. Now, I ring the number again but it doesn't get connected. ON RINGING OTHER TELEPHONE NUMBERS ALSO I CANNOT GET CONNECTED. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Worst customer service at Boots…
Worst customer service at Boots Optician - No refund without Manager, I bought two pairs of glasses from Boots but they were not good. I could not read the last two paragraphs of the fine print and the sales girl convinced me that the glasses were not meant for reading those two fine prints and that if I was not happy, I could return the glasses within a month to get a refund. I bought them around 24.01/2024 and yesterday I went to Boots around 5.15 p.m. and the same sales girl attended me. She told me that the Manager was to authorise the refund and he had left at 5 p,m, and I needed to book an appointment to see him. I was furious the Boots were supposed to close at 8,00 p.m. and the Manager had left much earlier. Further, the girl wanted to book an appointment to see the Manager. What a nonsense! I am 90 years old Indian retired University lecturer and I felt that she was messing with me for nothing. I have the feeling that she was telling me a pack of lies to put me off. What would say? Boots are good for nothing.

100 PER CENT COWBOY PLUMBERS BUT THE OFFICE STAFF IS PLAYING DILLA DILLY.
Two Homeserve plumbers came to replace my toilet syphon unit that comes off by turning but they started to take off the whole china cistern for nothing. In this process, they broke the China Cistern and told me that the company won't replace the toilet that they have broken. I have sent them the photos of the broken part and they still asking me to send the same photo of the broken parts. The Homeserve is supposed to be qualified home repairers but it seems the stupid office staff is throwing the ball into my court for nothing. If they care to consult their plumbing team, they will tell them the same thing as my plumber has told me in his quotation that the unit comes off by turning 90 degrees. 100% Cowboy plumbers and still they are playing delaying tactics spoiling their own excellent past service they had rendered to me for many years. I have four properties and my own house was served by them in the past. I am a retired University Lecturer, aged 90 and it is a shame that they are messing me around for nothing. I have spoken to the CAB and given them the notice under Consumer Rights Act 2015 to mend the damage done within 3 weeks. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM A REPUTABLE COMPANY. The Cowboy plumbers told me a pack of lies to get the sheet signed taking advantage of my old age. I asked them to send another plumber to access the damage done but they won't do it or even consult a qualified plumber.

They tried their best to resolve it on the day and followed up the next day to know. They are sending the yellow cable for a direct connection to my computer. It should be with me tomorrow. I am very happy with Cheisca Mabatid. She is going to ring me again once I have got the cable changed.

Further to my review of 26 July 2022, The Homeserve investigated my complaint but found that they are not responsible for breaking my toilet. I had a qualified plumber see what they did and he was surprised too. He told me the plastic flushing unit just comes off by turning and there was no need to take off the china unit at all. That proves the two plumbers who did the damage were Cowboys with no plumbing skills. Against all this evidence, Homeserve is refusing to amend the damage done and my plumber has given me the estimate:-
"Please find details of cloakroom Wc refit
1. Remove damaged WC due to being damaged whilst trying to remove cistern to replace the syphon
2. Supply and install new Closed coupled to replace existing
3. There was no need to remove this cistern to replace the syphon as the syphon is removed simply by turning to the right and pulling upwards it’s a quick-release syphon
Labour and materials. £ 495.00 + vat"
The damage done by the Homeserve plumbers is so obvious but the crook Homeserve won't admit it. I will not go to the Financial Ombudsman as these Ombudsmen act as defence lawyers for their paymasters and they are part of the "Mafia". I have a lot of experience with these crook ombudsmen who listen to their clients and not the customers. I will rather report to the Trading Standard through CAB. I will get the job done and make a claim against Homeserve through the County Court.
This they have done to 90 years old and through false convincing that my toilet is too old and needs replacement and got the job sheet signed by me - Cowboy Plumbers.

In short, I paid Homeserve £30.00 for the job under Policy HSS 577205822 and job sheet Hscc 241418298 dated 12/07/2022 and ended up with £500 plus damage. It seems the plumbers didn't know how to change the flushing mechanism. I have lodged a complaint with Homeserve Ref. CMP101928 on 13/07/2022 and today 25 July, I got a letter that was written on 19/07/2022 that it will take a month before they will let me know. Fortunately, we have another toilet to use but still, this was our main toilet in the house. For the sake of their over 4-star reputation, they should not trick the old people. They damaged the china part of the toilet, it is their responsibility to fix my toilet. The china parts do not rust or go old. I am 90 years old and such a reputable company left me with expensive damage.
