I had assumed my order once verified was secure. I went in to collect it and was bluntly told by the assistant that what I ordered had not been put aside but sold. I asked the point of reserving it and was rudely shrugged at and told ‘it happens’. Not inclined to bother with GSF again unless I have to.

Took up option to visit and inspect the sheds on display. Ordered there and then. Pleasant, efficient and direct process. Well within the projected time delivery and building-up was planned. Two man team were great, efficient and within 4 hours all sorted. The shed is exactly as commissioned and excellent value.

Fair price and easy enough to sell my iPhone - the loss on it was Apple’s fault more than anything else! The 21 days to send after locking in a price is reasonable but unfortunately not synchronised to Apple’s release date for orders… I lost over £50 as I could not order and get delivery in time and cannot risk being without a phone! But MM do a good job.

Suri have spent a lot of time and money in marketing and Customer service. The product is sleek and powerful, and cleans well. The battery life is really good. The keynote is that it is simple and effective. The travel and charging case is a great addition. It’s taken longer than expected to get responses sometimes - both of ours have had faults requiring replacements of the bodies, which were done without issue, but not quickly. And recent delivery of new brushes was certainly not fast, although the delay was communicated with regret, which was something! My only concern is with the recycling claims… I bought ours on the grounds that the heads were fully recyclable and free to return. They are quite expensive but I liked this aspect. A message I saw some weeks ago seemed to indicate Suri is ‘working on’ the recycling of heads issue. This is quite different to HAVING a working recycling capability from the outset, and I’d like this to be clarified. But on balance I am pleased and want Suri to succeed.

WF products are usually well made and robust. I cannot really afford them at retail prices, but they have decent sales and at serious % off they can be good value as they will last. The tendency is and always has been for the sleeves to be disproportionately long! It frustrates me a little as it means the sizing is hard to get perfectly right. My advice is to order, check carefully, and return if necessary, but you won’t regret keeping the ones you like.

In the days of internet shopping which Currys also does well, sometimes it’s good to just go and have a quick look first and get a feel for the products. The shop is well stocked. The jokes about disinterested and hopeless staff no longer applicable (though some are definitely better than others). Good balance and still good prices and offers. The reasonably priced extended cover is also positive encouraging people to stick with products and get full use.

Accurate notifications and timing. Good communications in advance too. Drivers friendly and efficient.

I recently wrote a short review for EuroPC but although true, I was thinking of another item when I wrote it! The 'refurbished' PC I wanted to review was quickly and accurately delivered with good communication. IT was described perfectly and works excellently. It was very good value for a Windows 11 good home spec AIO with Dell 3 year warranty making it superb. I tried to edit my original entry but could find no way to do it, unfortunately. I wanted EuroPC to have a decent full review with my thanks.

The website (or I) inadvertently ordered for me to collect from a more distant depot than my local. The staff member cheerfully and easily supplied me what I wanted and sorted the transfer of funds with the other branch. Meant I did not have to drive another 6 miles and waste another 45 minutes in traffic. Much appreciated. Hope the website will now 'hold' my preferred local depot!

Lovely clothes, material, design and colours but consistently long sleeves that are disproportionate and can be frustrating.

I had a simple low value practical need. As ever I got courteous and devoted help from the staff and a quick solution. The stores are well stocked it seems but the staff are the stars.

Good offer on garden product, but I had to travel 50 miles each way to collect. Order not ready for collection meaning a ten minute wait altogether. Staff fine but it should have been ready on a trolley really for first class service. Hull store car park in a mess with works. Hope it improves. Wanted other items that were not stocked.

Always easy to check stock and offers. Easy and quick to order. Delivery rapid and reliable. Always good value.

It's easy to enter a review for a tradesperson after the job is done, by using their card and unique number. It's possible to enter enough detail for a meaningful review without going into too much detail. If Checkatrade have enough safeguards and checks in place to verify trades and assure them to an extent, it's worthwhile as one measure of avoiding scams.

Excellent products in general no doubt but cost me a lot of money when a kit they stated was suitable for 1400 was not and I had to buy a smaller side screen as their was 5mm oversize. Check your measurements and their stated sizes. Not interested in helping us really so I had to find another £200.

Update: Had a reply from Merlyn that was incompetent. Got my name wrong and said "Sorry to hear you are happy with the overall Merlyn experience." This is a disappointment apart from an oxymoron. I said my 'experience' was that they cost me £200.

Good tracking and communication. Updated information. Delivery one hour slot and confirmation requested on the day - arrived on time. Efficient and courteous. All good!

I don't suppose any Bank is perfect. I am not convinced that 'banking' as practiced is a good way to do anything ethical or philosophically justifiable but if we are looking just at personal banking as a service, then FD is as good as it gets in my experience. The app is simple and effective and has developed more facilities over time. The customer service on the phone has always been good or better. The operators know what they are doing and efficient. I rarely do five stars unless there is total satisfaction and consistency. It's getting there.

Using the MM app it's easy to get a quick and definitive price and lock it in. The 14 days to complete is more than fair and so easy everyone can do it simply and effectively. The promised price is paid (presumably I told the truth about my tech! and they agreed!) immediately. This is good business. I hope MM will make some profit out of the deal and someone will get a decent S/H iPad at a fair price. This is more sustainable and a better face for consumerism (although we can all do better I guess) so MM is providing a service of societal benefit as their business model, it seems to me. It works.

Site is easy enough to find what I need. Prices always good. Offers often excellent. Service has aways been good and the payment and admin is accurate and efficient. Email circulars worth subscribing to. Professional supplier.
