Out ferry was sailing today (26/7/25) from Cairnryan to Lane. We were travelling from Cornwall. On the M6 our car developed a problem which resulted in us having to be redirected to Cornwall.
We missed the ferry - obviously!!
Because it was within the 24 hr cancellation period we have no way of getting our/any money back.
There was no contact number for Direct Ferries. I’m still waiting for a password recovery email (I’ve tried 5 times) for the app.
There is NO way of knowing what was going to happen to the car. NO way of getting in touch. NO way of cancelling. NO CHANCE of getting any money back.
£414.00 down the drain through NO fault of ours. NO holiday to enjoy.
All in all - thoroughly disappointed with this company.

Applying was easier than expected. The decision was very fast and the money was in the account within an hour of accepting. Can’t ask better than that.

Although I’ve yet to win anything, the selection of potential prizes is what brings me back. I love it.
