It was all downhill after the door canvassing

The door canvaser was probably the most professional part of it all. It all seemed so promising, until the goods get delivered, delivery instructions were ignored multiple times, not collecting empty bottles, being charged random extra charges, that have to be refunded by customer services. For a service that’s meant to make life easier, it did the total opposite.

As discussed, we're sorry to see that your request for your delivery to be left in your porch was not followed on both delivery days. Your Delivery Instructions and photo make this request abundantly clear. 
We'll be speaking to drivers about the importance of checking and adhering to instructions. Should our drivers encounter any issues following instructions, they can report  this to the delivery hub so a member of our team can get in touch with you.
We also reported the Delivery Fee duplication to our tech team to ensure that issue is resolved. I'm pleased to see this additional payment was included in your refund. 
I'll certainly pass your lovely feedback on to our Brand Ambassador team - it's great to hear we're giving a great impression when speaking to customers on their doorstep.

You think the appliances are poor quality, you want to try the customer service.

Bought a brand new kitchen, all appliances bought at the kitchen companies recommendation - Hoover/Candy - Double Oven, Gas on Glass Hob, Glass extractor fan, integrated dishwasher and integrated 70/30 fridge freezer.

30 days in and after only about 7 uses, the double oven has blown itself to bits. Candy argue the toss about the day the item was delivered and not the day it was installed so argue it's 32 days old therefore not eligible for the right to refuse a repair.

Customer service line was playing a "technical difficulties message" asking customers to WhatsApp with no reply for the almost 3 days over Xmas. Part cooked food thrown in the bin and left with no oven whilst they decide to "repair" the appliance (which can take up to 28 days) mean whilst I have a pregnant wife and a young child with allergies that means not all food can be thrown together in an air fryer.

It's hard to comprehend that a company of this size has no complaints procedure and no team to deal with them, just customer service representatives to say "sorry for the inconvenience" and offer no real, timely resolutions.

A total none starter. Won’t bother again.

Shocking from the moment you contact customer service to the minute you find out your order is lost/stolen/missing.

2 orders of presents for Xmas both lost, after multiple attempts to contact social media teams to get any information I had to ring up the poor quality phone system and speak to someone who confirmed they were both lost and I would be refunded.

Communication is none existent, not even an automated email to say I’m being refunded.


My advice, spend your cash somewhere else where they will 1) fulfil your order and 2) care enough to actually communicate with their customers in the event something goes wrong.

Every click and collect order is a disaster

The last 2 times I have ordered from my local Halfords, it has been more pain than it's worth. The first order was "ready", only to find when I got there that the item was ex display not brand new as I had ordered. Today's order was also "ready" only to be handed the complete wrong item when I arrived. I had to go and pick the correct item off the shop floor myself, staff training is definitely required at Chorley. Even if that only entails how to read an item number and not the difference between a pair of pliers and vice grips.

Frequently missing/stale items signal the end of my HelloFresh subscription

Regularly get meals that have missing or out of date items. Raising the issues has become pointless as credit is offered - only useful if you want to continue to use a seemingly frequently failing service. Credit doesn’t put key ingredients in your hands or fuel in your car to go to the shop to buy the missing ingredients in order to be able to cook a meal.

We are very sorry to hear of the disappointment with our service due to missing and incorrect ingredients. We want to assure you that HelloFresh does not stand for that and we agree that it defeats the purpose of our service. We understand that missing items need to then be replaced to be able to prepare your meal and we apologise for creating an inconvenience.

Our Packing team takes care that all boxes are sent out as they ought to be, though since our boxes are still hand packed when an item goes missing it is surely human error. However, since it has happened on more than one occasion, they need to look into this more closely and make sure it is rectified. The same applies to when an item is sent that does not match our usual quality and we will make sure the Product team is aware of this so they can sort it out for future reference.

A really strange way to run a business.

It's a shame that to have to leave this review but I feel it necessary to warn other potential customers. I ordered a walnut desk 50 days ago, when it arrived, it was not the item I had ordered.

Instead of contacting me to inform me the product I ordered was out of stock and ask what I would like to do, they just assumed it would be okay to send me a desk in white. I attempted to refuse delivery and return it with the courier but he refused to take it back. After contacting customer service several times to force them to arrange for it to be collected it was agreed that the desk would be collected between 14 and 21 working days and that if I wasn't happy holding onto it for this long I could return it at my own cost (why any customer should pay for a businesses mistake is beyond me).

It's now been 23 working days and there is still no sign of this item being collected. The only hope that remains is that I paid for the item using Klarna and have therefore been able to pause payments and raise an issue. Klarna however move at a similar pace to Daals and haven't been much help so far.

I'd strongly advise against buying from Daals on the premise that the customer service is poor and their communication is nonexistent.

Fantastic job and first time too

Fantastic job and first time too! Brilliant service from Pics2Posters, a breath of fresh air to buy from having previously made the mistake of buying from a less "Optimal" online print merchant and had poor quality orders sent to me.

Customer service is 10/10

I ordered from Master of Malt at probably one of the worst times of year - right before Christmas. My order was shipped to me perfectly on time and arrived Christmas eve. I even received a #WhiskySanta gift with my order.

Sadly the #WhiskySanta gift was broken and had leaked - but Master of Malt were straight onto setting it right and sent out a replacement straight away along with a nice apology gift.

Isubscribe have some great deals across a large range of magazines. It was simple to use their website and choose the deal I wanted. I signed up and subscribed to Autocar as a gift for my brother-in-law.

isubscribe haven't sent you an email regarding the subscription coming to an end and there are also no notes on your isubscribe account so I think perhaps you may have spoken to Autocar directly.

I have called Haymarket Media Group (who publish & fulfil the magazine) and they do send renewal correspondence early- as you have subscribed for 3 months there is a chance that a renewal has been sent, this does seem strange considering you have only just ordered- so I am going to contact the publishers regarding this.
