Shocking!

Shocking!! Can't log in even though all details are verified correct. Live chat can't find me in their records - even though they've just sent me an email!! My annuity was sold on to them from Scottish Amicable without my consent years ago. The original annuity was with bonuses, the Prudential one is £300 a year - just not worth all this hassle.

Terrible service in Greenfield

Again and again in Greenfield, buses are shown on the App as being due. The due time passes - no bus turns up. Greenfield is not well served with buses anyway so if one doesn't turn up, there's an hour's wait. TFGM need to get their act together - sort out an adequate service and re-design the App. I was going on holiday today and ended up having to lug a heavy suitcase up the steep hill to Greenfield station to catch the ridiculously frequent 84s because the 350 didn't turn up AGAIN!!!

Stay clear

This company appears to be owned by Blue Diamond Products. I bought an OR drive away awning because I'd been told they were good quality. No, they're not. On the 3rd time of using it, one of the angled connectors in the poles snapped when the wind blew strongly during the night. Still under warranty. Rang up. Sorry, poles not covered. Can you send me replacement. Sorry, we don't do spares because they're so cheap to buy elsewhere. £5 he said. Not true. If I do find somewhere that sells replacement poles, it will be over £40. Lesson learned. I won't be buying anymore of their products that's for sure! In answer to the companies response - there is NOT a spare angled connector which is the part that has snapped - as I explained. And I'm unable to find a replacement. And it is not canvas - it's nylon and the poles and connectors are not fit for purpose.

Hi Joan,
In all our instruction manuals and online you can find a copy of the warranty.
Here it does state that "Accidental damage caused by but not exclusive to, human, animal or
weather." and "Pole breakages or tube punctures (where applicable)" are not covered.
Your earlier phone call you did inform us that you were in a storm when the damage happened. We even informed you of the spare in your bag.
However you are correct that Blue Diamond Products is the parent company of Outdoor Revolution, with decades of experience in camping accessories and fluids.
You also confirmed that you did read the warranty when registering.
I'm really sorry that this has dissuaded you from our brand, but is a general policy throughout canvas manufacturers.

Sorry you weren't in -YES I WAS!

I waited in all day for a garden bench to be delivered. The driver sneaked up to my door and pushed a note through that said 'Sorry we missed you'. I ran to the door, flung it open and he was already driving away. Reading all the other shocking reviews on here, I'm wondering how this company still be in business. I am furious - what a load of cowboys!

No explanation for blocking expanded distribution

I'm an independent publisher/author on Amazon kdp. I have published 24 books and wish them all to be on expanded distribution. Two of my books have the word 'Writing' in the title and my request for expanded distribution has been refused by Amazon's distributor - who I'm told is IngramSpark. Amazon have appealed on my behalf but they still refuse without any explanation. I have checked and re-checked the eligibility rules and both books satisfy them all.

Fast delivery, great product.

Ordered a dehumidifier online from Appliances Direct at 4pm Sunday, paid the minimum delivery charge (£4.99) and received it the following day on track at 3.30pm. Fantastic service. And the dehumidifier is fabulous too. Both the delivery and the quality of the product exceeded expectations.

Error on my bill. Overcharge.

There is an error on my bill - DD of £150 omitted. It has proved impossible to speak to anyone. When I finally got through on the phone (after half an hour) the girl asked me to hold while she checked. 15 minutes later the call was disconnected. That's an hour I've wasted so far. The standard of customer service is shocking - since I was transferred w/o my permission from a brilliant smaller company, I have had nothing but aggravation. Determined to persevere, I managed to get through on the phone again after another 30min wait. This time I spoke to an Indian lady who I could hardly understand and I was on the phone for over an hour straining to hear what she was saying, but with no resolution. She seemed not to understand that two payments of £150 had been made and kept saying the bill was correct. I have escalated it to a complaint. FOUR HOURS wasted and an inordinate amount of stress!!!

Stay clear of this company

Someone ran in the back of my car in July 2022. The Hastings appointed garage couldn't repair it til 27 September 2022. My insurance was due for renewal on 28 Sept. Hastings increased my premium to 150% even though the other party admitted full liability and I have protected no claims. I have rung the garage today (5 Oct) to ask when my car will be ready - they've had it a week. I'm told they are still waiting for Hastings to approve the repair. This 'insurance company' is a sham. The stress they have subjected me to for an accident that wasn't my fault has been inexcusable. I have formally complained but am still waiting for a response. Their slogan is 'Refreshingly straightforward insurance'!!! What a joke!!!

You have to pay for their misleading sizing

The sizing is misleading and I had to send the 'comfort bras' back because they were way too small. I would have returned and ordered a larger size if I'd been able to do it online - after all I ordered the bras online - but you have to ring a premium line telephone number for exchanges. So whether I exchanged or wanted a refund (they deduct £3 postage for refunds) it was costing me more. For this reason I would never order anything from them again.

Stay clear!!

Stay clear!!! On only cleaning 3 windows at the back of the house they threatened me with court (the same day) if I didn't pay the £12 charge!!!!
If you employ them - expect hassle.

As you had raised this as a complaint our standard official content explains we do not accept refusal of payment but as said will return where instructed/requested. This not meant to be threatening but just to clarify so you know how we progress and handle complaints and so bills are not left and end up being passed to debt collection.
It is noted that you called and apologies for not being able to leave a voicemail. We do not use an automated phone system as lengthy holding on line causes extreme frustration, however our voicemail facility does get full and we always recommend email where you can.

Fantastic service

Shocking treatment

This company do not deserve even one star. In my case they have acted fraudulently and compounded the insult by threatening behaviour. They only partially cleaned my windows on the 24th Aug (they didn't clean the side or the front windows). They obviously thought I was out and wouldn't know because it was raining. I tried to ring them within the hour. No voicemail facility. I emailed to report the problem and received a threatening letter back the following day telling me if I didn't pay the £12 owing they would pass to a debt collector!!! This is a copy of the email I have just sent in response to another of their emails (rec'd today 30th Aug) which is another reply (from a different person) to my original email sent on the day of the 'clean' (24th):
Your company is clearly in total confusion and has a serious communication problem. Someone replied to my email on the 25th August at 10.48am - there was no apology for the 'cowboy-style' service but instead threatened me with debt collection if I didn't pay the £12 fee - despite your operatives pretending the windows had been cleaned on the 24th. To threaten a dissatisfied customer like that is shocking - actually it amounts to extortion, demanding money under false pretences. Your threats resulted in my offering to pay £6 for the partial clean but am now regretting that as only three windows were actually cleaned and if I hadn't found you out, I would have had to have paid £12. You did not deserve to be paid anything for a fraudulent service.

Be assured I will be putting adverse reviews on every site I can.

Who forged my signature?

I agreed with my neighbour to have his goods delivered to my house whilst he was away. I was in all day and the goods never arrived. When my neighbour returned home he checked UK Mail online and it showed the goods had been delivered and signed for by ME. This is fraud. I've asked them for a copy of the forged signature to send to the police - nothing rec'd yet.

I am sorry to hear about this, apologies that the driver has done this as they should not be forging signatures if that is what has happened. To investigate this further we would need the original receiver to contact us with their address, name and consignment number.

The no hassle way to sell all those books, DVDs and CDs you've been hanging onto for years. You input the ISBN, they give you a price. If you accept, all you have to do is print out the postage label, pack it/them up and take it to your nearest click'n'collect. Job done.

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service. Everything is out-sourced, including their complaints system. I bought a laptop, explaining exactly what I needed it for. Got it home and it appears to have been a demo model even though I paid full price for it - only 7 months of the free 365 Office left and an out of date Win 10 operating system. System can't update because it says there's not enough disk space. I haven't even used the damn thing yet!!!! I've been trying for TWO DAYS to get through to someone who can help resolve these issues - no luck yet. The store doesn't answer their phone and 'customer service' take approx 30mins to answer. I WILL NEVER EVER buy anything from them again.

Great company, great prices

I ordered a slimline designer radiator with central mirror from Heat and Plumb - almost half the price of elsewhere. It arrived within days at a time to suit me - I rang the courier to arrange this and they were really accommodating. I've been waiting a while for my heating engineer to come and fit the rad but he came yesterday and the radiator looks fabulous. And the heat output is just as advertised. I would def order fro this company again.

First class service

I've just left a glowing review for DX.co.uk when all other reviews were terrible. Now I've seen this different page/company - I'm wondering if I posted it on the wrong company? The replies below have the same logo as on my tracking note - so I'll post here as well.
After reading reviews on here I was full of trepidation about my impending delivery - especially as the item was heavy (40kg) and breakable (had a mirror). As it turned out, I had no need to be. Okay the communication between the office and the drivers could be better - when I was told the delivery date I rang to say I would only be in between certain hours and, yes, when I got home, they had tried to deliver it. But all it took was another phone call and the delivery was made the following day to fit in with my time slots. I'd also add that the girls I spoke to on the phone were helpful and courteous. So . . . no complaints from me. I'm in the Manchester area by the way.
