I ordered 3 products on the 19 June, but only 1 arrived. Still waiting for my missing goods :(
I chased up the company and was told that a ‘system error’ had caused an issue at the warehouse, but that they would ‘rectify’ the situation.
Unfortunately that message was sent to me on the 24th june - 8 days ago. Since then I’ve heard nothing, and the company are now failing to answer calls & emails.

On the 18 January I received an email from Habitat saying 'Hurrah! Your item is back in stock'. The item was a vase I'd been waiting for for a while, so excitedly I placed my order immediately.
The order confirmation stated it could take 'up to 14 days for delivery', which seemed a long wait for an item in stock, but I was happy the vase was on its way.
14 days later .... NO vase, NO contact from Habitat! I phoned up Customer Services but was told I'd receive a call back, after they'd looked into things. NO call back. A day or two later, I again phoned up Habitat, and, after another long frustrating wait to speak to someone, was told it 'might' get delivered tomorrow. He sounded embarrassed and I strongly sensed he knew the vase was not coming tomorrow, or the day after that.
After I put the phone down, I received a tweet saying they were refunding me £29.95 (which would take 3-5 days) and admitted the 'Hurrah - it's in stock' email they sent me was 'not correct', and there was no stock.
What a waste of my time!
Habitat. A quick question. At what point were you going to contact me to tell me there was no stock?

Colin was great. Thanks Colin. I had three smallish jobs, and not only did he fix them quickly and efficiently, within a 30 minute time period, he also entertained me with some fun stories!
I've used Handy Squad a few times, and the guys always seem very competent. Will use again.

Do you wish to stay sane? Of course you do! Then DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT sign up to Virgin Media broadband. Ignore the nice colourful branding, the familiar name, this organisation is a mess! I’ve never experienced such diabolical service ever, which borderlines on the criminal. I’m about to report the company to the Ombudsman, although I first need a lie down, as i’m so warn down by their incompetence.
I signed up to their monthly boardband in October, but suffered serious network issues about 2 months later, resulting in no broadband service. On a good day I was able to open a website homepage, but could not flick through to other pages, or make any online transactions. The network flicked off so quickly, it was totally useless.
When I tried to phone up Virgin to complain, I was passed from person to person, and then from department to department, with no one ever taking responsibility, or offering a solution. No one ever called me back. It was confusing and complicated, and the system appeared to deliberately make it impossible to complain. Eventually, weeks and weeks after my first complaint, a techician finally arrived at my property, and confessed that other people in my area we’re having the same problem. I explained that the problems had existed before Christmas and he replied ‘I know - I can link your fault to others around here’. With Virgin unable to give me a date for when my broadband would be back up and running, and with me being confused about what exactly I was paying for each month (!), I told Virgin I had no option but to cancel. I assumed they’d be terribly apologetic, offering me compensation for the lost service. But no. Instead I was told i’d have to pay for (no service) for another 30 days in order to leave my contract!!! I laughed - I thought it was some sort of joke - but they explained that because i’d had ‘some service’, i’d have to continue paying.
Imagine buying a beautiful necklace. When you arrive home and look in the bag, there is no necklace, just a bit of string and a broken clasp. You contact the jewellers and explain that you paid for a necklace. Ah, they tell you, ‘but you got ‘some’ of the necklace, so we can’t give you your money back’.
This is Virgin folks. They are cowboys. Do not go there. Do not go insane.

I'm in shock. The service and experience has been so appalling that I'm convinced the company has been overrun by gangsters! If you want to keep your sanity, avoid Virginmedia at all costs. It's a disgrace.
My installation was set for between 8am and 1pm on a given day - a massive 5 hour time slot. I received numerous messages leading up to the installation date asking me to confirm I would be present, which I did. I waited faithfully at the property, an empty flat I was yet to move into, twiddling my thumbs, for FIVE hours. But guess what, no engineer turned up. No phone calls or apologies from Virgin Media, and to my disbelief, when I phoned up and complained, they dared suggest it was my fault as, I was told, I should have waited beyond 1pm! 'I always advise customers the engineer might turn up outside this time slot', said, Mike, after the event, who had clearly been initiated and brainwashed into the gang. Well, guess what Mike, that's not what you advised me!
But that wasn't the end of it. I was told (by the gang) I would be posted "next day delivery" my internet equipment. It would, without fail, arrive the next day, and I could plug this in myself. I asked several times if it would definitely arrive, as I wanted to avoid wasting any more time waiting at home, or making expensive chasing calls. I was reassured, by Mike, that it would definitely arrive. The next day I waited from 7am until 5pm for my package to arrive, at which point I made a panicked call to Virgin. I hadn't left the house once, and was now tired and very hungry. To my disbelief, another of the unapologetic gangsters casually me that I had no right to complain, because my parcel might not turn up until 8pm. I knew this was nonsense, but, having no other option, I waited faithfully until 8pm. As predicted, no parcel arrived. A second day wasted. Another day trapped indoors.
There is no point trying to phone Virginmedia to complain. You will passed from one department to the next, being placed on hold for 'one or two minutes', which in reality will leave you holding for 15 minutes, whilst ghastly loud pop music in blasted down the phone in an attempt to cover up your desperate screams for help.
Avoid this company. Stay sane.
