This service needs re-nationalising

This service needs re-nationalising. Too many times now I have paid for 1st class postage, and the item should be delivered the next working day according to Royal Mail's own literature. I paid on 25th June. The recipient STILL hasn't got the item. the delivery address is closed over the weekend so the recipient wont get the urgent birthday item until next week, long after their birthday. Royal Mail couldn't give a hoot about stuff like this though!

In any other business, if you are charged a certain amount of money for a service and then don't provide that service this often, they should be charged with fraud!,,, and then they wonder why they're losing a million pounds a day in revenue! I will certainly weigh up other options of sending parcels going forward!

Brilliant company and brilliant value…

Brilliant company and brilliant value for money. I ordered a fizzless mystery box on the friday. It was ready for delivery the next day! And the selection of sweets in the box was awesome. All kinds of everything. Way more than I was expecting for the £22 I paid. Thank you Sweetzy. You have a customer for life

Avoid this company like the plague

Avoid this company like the plague. Their advertising is very misleading. I clicked on a video for an electric screwdriver/drill with heads and bits. What I actually received was a much much cheaper manual screwdriver and heads. And, at the point of submitting this review, I haven't heard back from their customer services about the issue. I have sent an email and filled in the email form on their website

I coudnt be happier with Chunk of Devon. The pasties I ordered arrived next day and the pasties themselves were packed full to the crust with delicious filling, not like most of the other pasty delivery companies I have tried in the past. There was the perfect amount of meat compared to the potato, carrots and everything else, not like the vast majority of pasty delivery companies I have tried in the past, where the vast majority of the filling has been mainly potato and very little of anything else! Very well seasoned. I will certainly be buying more from this company. Thank you Chunk of Devon - the best pasty delivery company I have found (in my humble opinion)

Dreadful Experience - possibly, the worst!

I recently opened a store on Etsy. Within the first 12 hours I had something like 20 scam messages (no orders... just scam messages) wanting me to give my bank details, or to click on a link to complete an order. I complained to Etsy at about 10 scam messages and all they could do was to tell me to put the scam messages into a spam folder. 20 scam messages in, I complained again... I didnt even get a response this time round. This clearly shows how much Etsy think about their customers. They dont. All they care about is how much money they can get out of you. I still had to pay for a couple of listings before I could close the store (despite not selling anything and only having the store for about 18 hours in total... I paid it and will never sell via Etsy again, until they can demonstrate they take all these scam messages seriously and at least attempt to stop them!!!

This company cannot seem to do enough…

This company cannot seem to do enough for its customers. I received my new router and mini hub today. Unfortunately, my landline phone (yeah I know. Dinosaur haha) did not work and was not compatible with the new router. I spoke to Maja on the phone and she did everything she could to help and come up with a solution to the problem. Hopefully the solution will work. Why can't other companies be this good towards their customers? Its not difficult

GoPro is a No No!

GoPro is a No! No!

I bought a GoPro10 about a year ago. I subscribed to their service for a year. Today (27.02.23) I got a notification via PayPal that GoPro had taken money for another year of subscription. As soon as I saw they had taken the money I reached out to them about it...

1) I was unaware that GoPro automatically put your subscriptions on auto-renew (a lot of companies do this but I think it is VERY wrong).
2) I didnt get any advanced notifications that this payment was due to come out of my account today.
3) When I spoke to them about it on their website, it appears they couldnt give a toss about you. All they care about is getting your money. They were not prepared to do anything about it at all!

I will never buy another GoPro product ever again. This is a very disreputable company going by all the 1 star reviews on here (Trustpilot).

There are many cameras out there. Many of them better than GoPro's.. and many of them a LOT less expensive.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!
On 1st January 2023, I placed an order on The Range's website. It's now almost 2 months later and 1) I haven't received my order and 2) I am still battling them to get a refund. They keep saying they have contacted the Range Plus retailer and requested the order to be canceled and a refund issued but for some reason, their Range Plus retailer won't contact them back! It is my understanding that my Contract of Sale is with The Range, given the order was placed on their website, and not with their Range Plus retailer, so surely The Range should have refunded my money. but they haven't so far done so

Also, every time I call them they tell me... OK, we're escalating this with the retailer and giving them 2 days to sort it out. And still, nothing happens.

Seriously avoid the heartache and DO NOT SHOP WITH THE RANGE! Dreadful first experience of shopping with these people!!!

Their website is totally misleading

Their website is totally misleading. It clearly says it typically takes 2-3 hours to apply and get your loan. This is a blatant lie. It takes (or it took) 3-4 days (not including the weekend) to apply, even though I was 'pre-approved' for a loan through Lendable via a link on experian.com. Lendable sent me a message saying something along the lines of 'This is the final step before we issue your loan...' but there were a few more hoops to jump through after that. I am still currently toying with the idea of reporting them to the Financial Conduct Authority and the Financial Services Ombudsman given their website is totally misleading about how long their process takes

If I could leave no stars I would

If I could leave no stars I would. This company is going downhill rapidly, especially in my local area. Packages just dumped in communal lift areas (my delivery address is an office block)... Drivers not being bothered to make a delivery so they mark it down as delivery attempted when they clearly haven't! There was a time when Amazon gave a damn about their Prime Members... not anymore. I've canceled my Prime Membership and won't buy through them again. It's not worth the hassle. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to complain to Amazon about all this, and each time get "I'm really sorry. We will make sure this doesn't happen again." but it does... time and time again. I even wrote to their London head office about all of this. I never even got a response from them. That's how much they care about their customers. To be honest, any company, such as Amazon, who are making over $3000 per second in pure profit, well, of course, they aren't gonna care one bit about the rubbish level of service their (now ex) customers receive, are they? Save yourself the heartache. Buy from elsewhere. Yes it might take a day or two longer to receive your items but at least you will receive your items

If I could give no stars I would. Their customer service is patchy at best, but the really bad thing is their customer rewards programme, 'Tribe'. The more money you spend, the more points you get to spend on perks such as 42 colour eyeshadow palettes etc. Excellent programme, apart from one MASSIVE problem... hardly any of the perks advertised on their website are in stock, and according to a recent email I received, are not going to be restocked! Isnt this basically fraud? Especially as those exact same out of stock and not being restocked perks are still being advertised on their site as available!

I have spent hundreds of pounds with this company, partly to get those perks. Twice I placed orders to cash in my Tribe points (you cant claim perks without placing an order). I wast told until after the second order that the perks I wanted were out of stock and not being restocked.

AVOID THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!

***update in response to Beauty Bays reply below***
How about having some decent Tribe perks available rather than the 'out-of-stock-and-not-being-restocked' perks you currently are offering on your website?... and no I won't be spending another penny with Beauty Bay. I will be purchasing from Cult Beauty from today

Also readers of this review... Notice how Beauty Bay don't seen to give a t*ss about the fact they are offering customer rewards that are not available, and never will be?

Utter lies from BB in their latest reply. All details were put to BB, on 16th August, to their customer services email address. I told them I wasnt happy about the situation. I got the bog standard 'we will respond within 4 working days' response followed by the reply below
"Hi Dominic,
Thank you for your email.
I am sorry you feel this way."
Nothing else...

Also, as of todays date: 22nd August 2022, the 'out-of-stock-never-being-restocked-perks are STILL on their website as available...

It's nothing short of FRAUD!

OK, so the perks that are not available have been removed from their website - about time if you ask me. If they ahd done this when they knew the items were out of stock and not being re-stocked, none of this would have happened.

Anyway, hats off to Beauty Bay. They offered me 5 x 42 colour eyeshadow palettes by way of a gesture of goodwill. I accepted their kind offer and to the best of my knowledge, the eyeshadow pallets were sent out. However, and this is where I cannot improve Beauty Bays review, they use EVRI as their delivery partner. My items are currently sitting in an EVRI warehouse somewhere... should have been delivered weeks ago (original order was apparently sent out at the beginning of September). I got a message from EVRI at the time, saying

"This parcel is bigger than we expected, so a specialist EVRI courier will need to deliver it. We're sorting this now and will update the tracking information as soon as its on its way".

Seriously EVRI? 5 eyeshadow palettes are bigger than you, a delivery company, were expecting and a specialist courier needs to deliver them? That was back then.. the items tracking info still says the same thing to this day, with absolutely no way of getting hold of EVRI regarding this issue! So, unfortunately, whilst Beauty Bay have contacted EVRI to get them to deliver my items, and those items are still sitting in EVRI's warehouse, and Beauty Bay are using EVRI as a delivery partner, I would still say avoid Beauty Bay! You are not guaranteed to get your haul (I even bought a haul pass to get all my items the following day... EVRI don't always honour this either). It's a shame because Beauty Bay did their best to rectify my problems... it's just their less than useless delivery partner who is letting them down and has lost Beauty Bay this customer (and I used to spend several hundred pounds a month with them)

Message to Beauty Bay: If you ever decide to use a reliable delivery partner in the future, please do let me know. I LOVED your brand until this sh*tstorm blew up!

Dreadful Service

I ordered an item from a company on a Friday (29th July) for next day delivery. EVRI know that the delivery address is an office block that isn't open on Saturdays as they have delivered to me hundreds of times, yet they still tried to deliver on Saturday 30th. Since then, they haven't bothered to try to redeliver my item claiming I need to contact them with updated delivery instructions... however, when I ring their number it is an automated system and when I gave it my tracking number it simply said... "We know there is a delay with your parcel. We are trying to fix this as soon as possible" (or words to that effect). I couldnt speak to anyone in person to try and get the item redelivered. I now will not purchase from any company that uses EVRI as their main delivery option. Somehow, EVRI have managed to become worse than their previously known name, Hermes!

Dreadful Customer Services

I ordered an item on 29th July. EVRI tried to deliver it on the Saturday 30th, despite knowing the delivery address is an office block that isn't open on Saturdays!

I then tried to contact Beauty Bay about it as EVRI still hadn't tried to redeliver the parcel by the following Tuesday. It was then I discovered there isn't a phone number to contact Beauty Bay by and at the time of writing this review, they are taking up to 4 days to respond to email queries. Sorry Beauty Bay I dont call that acceptable Customer Services. We are living in a time when the Customer Experience is EVERYTHING, and Beauty Bay are falling way short of the mark!

I wont be buying cosmetics from them again (and I have spent A LOT of money with them in the last few months). I would advise anyone reading this to find another company to buy your cosmetics from, probably best looking for one that actually gives a damn about their customers, 'cause Beauty Bay clearly dont!

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I purchased some trainers from this company. They were coming from abroad so I followed the tracking information Buy It Kind gave me. Eventually, my trainers landed in the UK but never actually reached me. After following the Royal Mail tracking information, the items still never got to me. I contacted Royal Mail and they told me that because my items hadn't reached me within Royal Mails' maximum allowed time, the item was probably lost and Buy It Kind had to put a claim in as they were the sender and it was their account that had been used to pay for the postage.

I contacted Buy It Kind with this information and included the screenshot of the messages between myself and Royal Mail. Initially, Buy It Kind didn't seem interested in that. As far as they were concerned at the time, the item had landed in the UK, therefore it had been delivered! They werent interested in the Royal Mail messages at the time either!

After several messages back and forth between myself and Buy It Kind, they eventually told me they had made a claim to Royal Mail and it should be sorted within 48 hours. That was on Monday this week. Today is Thursday and I still haven't heard back from Buy It Kind. They are not even responding to my emails anymore. I have had to ask Paypal to step in and give me my money back!

Now, I'm not saying Buyit Kind has done anything fundamentally wrong. However, they are based in Hong Kong. I'm not being funny but if this issue has been caused by Buy It Kind not fully understanding English and the processes involved in selling to the UK, then maybe they shouldn't be selling in this territory at all?

Either way, I would advise you don't buy anything via Buy It Kind as the heartache involved in trying to get an issue sorted out, really isn't worth it!

**Update added after the reply from Buy It Kind**
This is the message I received from Royal Mail

"Hi, The Tracked Return 48 service has a delivery aim of 2-3 working days but does not have a guaranteed delivery date and as such we allow 10 working days from the date it was due to be delivered. As your item has passed this threshold, I’d advise you to contact the sender.
Unfortunately, as your item has been sent via a Royal Mail business account only the account holder (the sender) can register a claim with Royal Mail. ^Matt"

Which I sent to Buy It Kind several times. This clearly tells you that the item WAS NOT DELIVERED.

Buy It Kind appears to be going off the International Tracking information only which, indeed, does say the parcel landed in the UK. It doesn't take into account the Royal Mail Tracking information that clearly says it wasn't delivered to the final delivery address!

This is exactly what I'm talking about. If Buy It Kind don't understand the process of delivering to addresses in the UK, they really shouldn't be selling into this territory imho.

If you're reading this, please feel free to put the tracking number (WB010254628GB) into Royal Mail's tracking system. You'll see the item hasn't been delivered and I dont know why Buy It Kind doesn't or won't understand and accept this!

***Update added after Buy It Kind has replied***
please look at the royal mail tracking info for tracking number WB010254628GB. It clearly says it hasn't been delivered as of 08.07.2022. Youre only looking at the international tracking info that says the item landed in the UK! not that it has been delivered to the final address!

I would have given 5 stars but...

I would have given 5 stars but...

On the whole, I cannot complain about Hyperoptics services. I have never had an issue with their customer services. I have only ever suffered an outage once in the time I have been with Hyperoptic, and that wasn't Hyperoptic's fault. I always have a super-fast connection speed (between 700 - 900 MBps).

The only issue I had was, when their engineers came round to fit the router, they blew a large area of plaster near the front door where they inserted the fibre cable... and just left it like that. They told me I should just fill it in with filler... sorry, not my job... if youre installing something in my house and you make a mess, surely its your job to tidy up after yourself?

Anyway... that is the ONLY thing I could complain about. Other than that the service has run smoothly and Im extremely happy with the service and the customer service I have received so far. Other companies should take note!

AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Bought a phone from these clowns through Amazon Prime for next day delivery. Phone arrived only to find they had sent me the wrong colour (I bought Phantom Violet, they sent pink!). I rang them and XXXX (the only person who appears to answer the phone and looking at Trustpilot, the only person responding to reviews) said that as the purchase was for someones birthday that weekend, he would send out the correct phone to be with me the next day (Thursday). Low and behold, no phone arrived on Thursday. No notification from dpd that there was anything arriving for me that day! I rang XXXX and asked for the tracking number. He couldn't provide me with that information as apparently the phone had been dispatched without a tracking number! (yeah, like any company is going to send out a phone, costing nearly £350 without a tracking number!). He said I should wait until Friday to see if the replacement phone arrived. It didnt. I rang XXXX again and he offered to send out a second replacement phone to arrive on the following Monday. Again no tracking information could be provided and no notification from DPD that there was anything for delivery to me on the Monday either! I tried ringing him again on the Monday but, after the initial computer message saying 'Welcome to Stock Must Go. Please hold the line while we connect you to a customer services representative (XXXX again I presume!)' the line goes dead. I rang from several different numbers. It did the same thing. A complaint was put into Amazon about this situation, and I was told they were getting a lot of complaints against Stock Must Go for exactly the same thing!.

I really think their Directors need to answer for this.

***Update***
Since leaving this review, XXXX from Stock must go has rang me to apologise. He did admit that the second replacement phone, despite assurances, was never sent out! But they have issued a refund

I was lied to in order to sell me a more expensive product!

I had just spent a lot of money buying Lady Million Fabulous when I noticed a new JPG fragrance: La Belle Fleur Terrible... I was told I HAD to try it, so I did. I was then told that it was a limited edition and there are only 3000 of them in the World. So I bought one (full price with this shop £101... much more expensive than almost everywhere else!)

I have now had a chance to scour the internet and low and behold I cannot find any information regarding this claim!

I will not be buying my fragrances from this shop ever again!

However I can confirm that La Belle Fleur Terrible by Jean Paul Gaultier is a limited edition fragrance, released in March with limited quantities and only available in the 100ml size. This has now sold out on our website having sold through the limited stock that was available.

How can they be getting worse?

Jesus H Christ and all of his carpenter friends... I don't know how they've done it but Evri are getting worse. I was supposed to receive a parcel last week, delivered by Evri. The delivery address is a block of offices and Evri know it isnt open on a Saturday! Yet they still tried to deliver my item on Saturday. Today, I track my parcels and all is going well... then I get a message saying they're having a problem with the delivery address!!! and the parcel is going to be delayed yet again. How can a delivery company be this bad? Use Evri to send a parcel? Id rather shove wasps up my bumhole!

Worse than before they changed their…

Worse than before they changed their name! They were supposed to deliver 1 parcel to me this week. I got a message saying something had happened to my parcel in transit and it would be out for delivery the following day... that was on Tuesday! Today is Friday and ive had a message saying my parcel will be delivered today between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. Im writing this review at 4.50pm and Im still waiting for my parcel. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Waste of money and time

I followed the instructions to the letter, and even watched Elliot's video on youtube many times to ensure I was doing it right... Ended up with one tiny clump of small deformed pink oyster mushrooms. Their customer service though was good and when I told them of the issues I was having, and sent them a photo of the mushrooms, they did offer further advice, which I followed, but only ended up with one crop of small, deformed pink oyster mushrooms that I was told had already started to dry out and were past their best. I harvested them as instructed and was told I should get further flushes of oyster mushrooms but never did! Expensive mistake buying this mushroom kit!
