Customer care not very caring!

I had been given the Bee Venom as a gift and I wrote to them to check the batch number (which they did). I was concerned as the product smelt a little funky, I asked if I could return a little of it for them to test it and they did not want to know... As it wasn't bought directly from them they could/would not help! When I asked Alex for her title and who the Senior Manager was she has not answered my emails! A reminder was ignored as well! NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL RODIAL! When I had a similar problem with Augustinus Bader last year they were only too glad to assist! NO customer care her at Rodial I'm afraid!

DONT BUY AN IDEAL BOILER ///// FAR FROM IDEAL !

It speaks volume when a company won't even defend their reviews on TRUSTPILOT !!!
I would give this company a -2 rating if it existed!
Bought a Logic+ Combi C 30 Installed it in 2017.
It started dropping pressure, no leaks in the pipework, pressure relief valve ok & expansion vessel ok. As it pointed to the Heat exchanger I called Ideal about warranty. My 7 year warranty had passed and although the boiler was fitted with a filter (which gave it a 10 year warranty) Ideal said they could not find any trace of the filter being registered, they would not help.
Their staff hang up on you and don't return calls as they said they would I had to chase several times and when I eventually insisted on speaking to the Manager (Tauseef Akhtar) his attitude was very unprofessional and helpless! He refused to give me his last name, but his last name appeard on an email he sent me about warranty which I told him was silly and un helpful thing to say! It looks like I have to buy a new boiler as the heat exchanger is REALLY expensive and near to the price of a new boiler. I WON'T BE GIVING IDEAL any more of my money!!!!//// BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY///

Their transfer in system has a software problem //// BEWARE

An ISA transfer in from another provider has been an issue as their system is unable to recognise the £20,000 ISA limit!!! Just spoken to Emma Sinclair (Manager) and Management are aware of it but is seems they would rather pay big bonuses to shareholders than update their software!!! SHAME ON YOU HARPENDEN ! Just look at your rating on Trustpilot !

REFUNDS TAKE AGES !

Returned a game to them which they agreed a full refund on (minus shipping cost) on the 30th Dec 25 they received it 2/1/26 .. called them 4 days later and they said they got it and they would refund ASAP. It is now the 13/1/26 and they still haven't refunded my money as they have a back log after Xmas but don't know how long the back log will take to clear! WARNING/// Don't expect a timely refund if you have to return anything ! Come on Toy Street play a little fairer!!!
Toy Street replied to me on here saying that my return was actioned on the 13/1/26 but when I called them on the 14/1/26 their staff could not give me any update and I was still in the waiting queue. It's a shame that you have to put your experience on Trust Pilot to get a true and up to date response... :-(

I would give -10 stars if I could

I would give -10 stars if I could! REI have got to be the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. Tried to order E-Gift cards online and they cancelled my order for NO reason! They couldn't tell me why! I placed another order 3 days later and the charge was just sitting there pending ! Chatted on their chat system and their staff were utterly useless ! They couldn't tell me if they would honour my order or not OR when it would be processed! AS it was a GIFT and didn't want to be let down last minute I told them to cancel the order! Absolutely USELESS ! I did also point out all the negative feedback they had on Trustpilot! NO COMMENT ! AVOID REI and save your self stress!

Be careful /// Strange KYC rules!

If you are thinking of opening a 1 year fixed savings account for a Ltd company.. You may like to know that Oxbury onboarding team (Luke) asks for the following:
What services does your business offer?
Do you trade under any other name?
Does your business have a website where you offer or advertise your services?
How does your business advertise its services?
If your business trades outside of the UK, please confirm these countries.
Send a copy of my lastest bank statement to prove where funds are coming from!
I have been a director of my company for 39 years and have NEVER been asked for this KYC information from ANY bank or Building Society during that time..
Companies house checks should prove all they need to know, I won't be opening this account as I refuse to send such private information on a statement! My advice to anyone else thinking of opening a business savings account is to think very carefully WHY they ask for this!! It is very over the top! Nick Evans is the CEO but Luke refused to give me his email address! Mmm helpful Bank!

Be careful if you TRANSFER ISA OUT AND SPLIT!

Went to transfer out on maturity my 1 Year Isa to 2 other providers and they would NOT allow it!
Their marketing material is misleading as it says current tax year allowances can't be transferred. Buried in their T & C's in section 12 says that it must be transferred in FULL! SNEAKY OR WHAT!
Looking at your reply: I'm glad I gave you good advice for your Management team - and you got it for free!!! You are still a dreadful company!!

I tried for 2 hours to open a 1 year…

I tried for 2 hours to open a 1 year ISA _ WHAT A FAFF!
Would give -5 stars if I could. long wait times on the phone! ID online pictures and docs difficult to navigate to prove I exist! Really ! check me out elsewhere quicker like all other banks and building societies do! Then I have to wait 2 days for your system to upload so that I can complete a transfer in request!! HOW ANTIQUAINTED ! Why not ask for this info (AS ALL OTHER PROVIDERS DO)at the point of opening???? THIS bank cause SO much anxiety !! AWFUL! Obviously RBS don't give a damn as they don't even respond to complaints on this website!

Refund has not been issued as they have an IT problem.
The only way to find out is if you use the APP (I don't) It isn't on the web page either.
This message comes up about their answering service :

NOT GOOD ENOUGH BARCLAYS!! HOW MUCH PROFIT DID YOU MAKE LAST YEAR!!! You should be ashamed of your pathetic customer service!
The person on the phone was VERY reluctant for me to make an official complaint! Just said she would pass on the feedback!!! REALLY !!!! Look at your score on Trustpilot!
Look at that Barclays want me to call them after I complained and wait on the phone for at least 40 minutes again! THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO LOOK GOOD ON TRUSTPILOT BY TICKING BOXES!!!

Car not checked sold with faults I had to sort out !

BMW - MIlton Keynes dealership
I bought a VW Golf from this dealership. The MOT was due and there were a few small dents on it. They wouldn't budge on price but agreed to do these 2 things so I left the car with them for a week. Going forward there was a problem with the radio and the interior light and a boot drain pipe missing completely, they advised me to take it to a local VW dealership under warranty. This caused me MANY problems as VW not happy to discuss with BMW , I had to get the 2 managers involved at each car dealership. Boot pipe not covered and BMW paid for it the other 2 were covered. However, VW Guildford were really bad at diagnosing and the car had to go back 4 times as they diagnosed wrong! This caused me many trips/phone calls and I feel that if BMW had thoroughly checked the car over in the first place NONE of this huge inconvenience would have happened. I was left without a car for 4 days. VW did not have a loan car to give me. I had to ask BMW 4 times to send me the warranty paperwork, I eventually called them myself and the warranty company sent it !!! Not impressed with BMW hence 1 star! Sales guy Mel didn't really help and did not return calls ! I guess once they make a sale they don't care too much about after service!

Incompetent service staff who don't pass messages on /// Avoid???

My car went in under warranty and VW Looker Guildford took a time to call the warranty company as the car was just bought through BMW! They did a diagnostic and said I had to the pay for it before they released the car back. This was wrong as the warranty company covers this. When I rebooked the car in for the work, they didn't keep me up to date and wouldn't talk to BMW ! My car fault was NOT fixed when they had it for a day and I had to leave it overnight again as they failed to spot a wiring problem! I cannot recommend this dealership they have a rude forthright customer service. I had to report a member of their staff to the service manager. Slowly it got fixed ... Sarah was a good egg, went out of her way to help me (thank goodness).. They charge £180.00 for 1 hour diagnostic!!!
Update: 29/9/25 The saga continues as this morning I had to drop the car back into service dept as the radio they said they fixed was NOT fixed and despite a £255 software update, the problems remain. Ryan in the service dept on Saturday told me that I could always take it back to BMW !!! Very surprised by that comment!! Went to drop the car off Sunday evening , it seems he forgot to mention that they put up the parking security bars so I could not access the forecourt. Had to re-visit there 7:20 this morning! Once again could not give me a car hire for 6-8 weeks as the dealership had sold all the hire cars they said! ALL very disappointing once again.. VW complaints dept responded to my Trustpilot review, they said that Steve Telling (Head of Business) at Guildford would call me but never received a call, this speaks volumes!

Complaints about stays booked don't get answered!!!

I booked a hotel in Rhodes and stayed there 2 weeks ago, I wrote to Booking.com and complained about the place 3 times but have heard nothing. They keep writing asking for the information of booking number which I have given but still no response.
Very bad customer service and by the looks of the negative comments on Trustpilot that they haven't responded to, its obvious they don't care! AVOID! I have had to go to my credit card company to reverse the charge!
11 emails sent and still no response!!! Dreadful service!!! AVOID their staff are VERY RUDE in their overseas call centre //// THEY CUT YOU OFF WHEN THINGS DONT GO THEIR WAY//// DESPICABLE COMPANY

I would give a -10 score if I could!
Saw Michael Buble at Sandringham yesterday (not cheap tickets!) experienced the following :
The audience layout was horrendous, the screens were too small. If you were seated you had NO chance of a good view so relied on small screens..
They had sound quality issues and the screens had a sound delay which spoilt enjoyment of the artists. Overpriced dreadful cheap quality food traders only fit for a fair ground! Talking about fairground, WHO decided to put fair ground rides that continued working and people screaming which ruined the show when Michael sung as you could not hear properly!!! SO DREADFUL!! Even Michael commented on the fair site from the stage! The very long bar was located in the wrong area as people could have stood there to get a better view! 1 hour 40 minutes to get out of the car park stayed stationary for 1 hour!! The marshals didn't seem to manage it at all with drivers aggressively jumping the queue, signage dreadful!!
The litter bins overflowed and litter scattered all over the floor.. No thought went in at all to plan this venue properly! I won't EVER attend another concert there. ///// This is a HUGE RED FLAG WARNING to anyone considering Sandringham location as a entertainment venue! AVOID ///// I will be sending a copy of this to Heritage as by the looks of it they don't respond on Trustpilot and their scoring is 1 star!! Says it all really.. But hey, they got their money why should they care! Heritage live website does not have a complain link, I wonder why!

LONG delivery/pick up /// Be prepared!

Ordered a Hoover washing machine, Product Care earliest delivery was 8 days, it was delivered damaged! Product Care then took another 8 days to collect it! In the meantime I have had to pay off for another washing machine and Hoover won't refund until their machine is collected! Not good Hoover!
Also the interactive map that Product Care use is a bit Naff (not as good as AO) and delivery guys could not wait to run off and didn't like having to wait ! You need a new delivery company Hoover they are letting you down BIG TIME !!!
All I get from Hoover replying to this is a quick SORRY! Once again a nothing from Hoover! Just ticking boxes fir show on Trust pilot and inconveniencing customers as they don't really care...

DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE ///AVOID////

I ordered a Hoover H350 it took 8 days to get this machine delivered. The guys delivering it could not wait to scoot off! When unpacked the top was damaged and couldn't be seen till all packing as off.. Hoover don't give you a contact number you have to email them and wait! I was offered £65.00 to accept it (which I wouldn't) In short I was told they would deliver a new machine and waive the install fee, then sent another email saying I had to accept it as they could not replace it as NO STOCK! REALLY!!! A manufacturer with no stock! I insisted on a refund and would go elsewhere to get the machine. I went to AO that matched the price and could deliver it in 2 days! AO could talk to you on the phone and provide CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! Look and learn HOOVER your feedback here on Trustpilot is dreadful and by all account you don't care as you have not responded to any of the complaints - you don't deserve to be in business you should be ashamed of yourselves !!! Your staff sign off emails (when they like) with no surnames or contact numbers! Oh and they emailed to say they would not now pay the installation cost even though they delivered a damaged machine and if they hadn't I would not have to get another new machine from AO and get it installed.. !! Your subcontracted delivery! I have to wait for a date now so that they can pick it up before I am refunded..I only hope it was quicker than the 8 days you made me wait for delivery. Of course all in Hoovers favour as you don't know the delivery date until order placed and they have your money.. You get my award for the worst Customer service rosette for AUGUST 2025! WELL DONE HOOVER!!!!!
Update: 8/8/25
They now said that I have to wait yet another week to have the damaged machine picked up! I should charge them rent!
The reply is disappointing from Hoover! Well at least they replied! Great to know other people may benefit from better service but I feel that they took their eye off the ball for Customer service here! Still a bad show all round...

If there was a zero star - Flowers NOT DELIVERED!

If there was a zero star, this company earned it from me!
Ordered a bouquet of flowers for a birthday for the 21st July 25 delivery and none were delivered! It is now 18:00 on the 22nd July still nothing . They offered me a £5.00 credit to my account as I seemed to be in the 6% of people that may not get their flowers delivered on the closed day ! REALLY! What an insult I have just demanded they give me a FULL refund... I would avoid ordering from this company in case YOU are in the 6% ! These people can't be trusted and know how to ruin someones birthday! Thanks a bunch Bloom & Wild!
What do I care as to WHY the delivery was late or went missing? That causes me more work to get this to you and I gain NOTHING! IT is sad that the simplest of tasks cannot be carried out !! ...
A full refund was issued, the moment is lost now and I won't trust your company with another delivery!

Item out of stock!!!

Went to Guildford Boots today to purchase Sun tan creme on their 3 for 2 offer. Didn't have the 3rd item I needed and was told to go to Woking, Woking didn't have it either! Just called Boots customer service (difficult to find phone number on their website) and unbelievably they don't know when their stock is due in I was told! Really middle of summer and you run a 3 for 2 promotion and you can't tell when you will get stock in ???? This is CRAZY!
You can see from their reply on 8/7/25 that apart from adding how to contact them, no mention of what they intend to do about my stock problem (no comment!).. Just ticking boxes!!

Woking ice cream machine KAPUT!

Woking once again has an ice cream machine that does not work.... not because of the heat ! it regularly breaks down ! Come on MARS get a grip! Surely you can fix the machine!!! 32 degrees today, you lost a lot of business !!! Not good enough!
