My husband & I visited the Cramlington Dunelm branch this morning, trying to find a suitable replacement for our broken curtain hooks, and a new clock.
Unfortunately, we were unable to find compatible replacement curtain hooks, so my husband enquired to a passing shop assistant, Rachel, if Dunelm was able to help.
Rachel was very polite and friendly, and extremely helpful. Not only did Rachel explain the situation of standard sizing, she offered to search online for us in an attempt to find compatible curtain hooks. Rachel found some almost instantly and we were very grateful. We took a photo of the hooks she found, and did a search for them when we returned home. The said curtain hooks have now been ordered and are in the post.
Rachel is indeed a credit to Dunelm as she went the ‘extra mile’. We are very impressed with our shopping experience today. Thank you very much.

I emailed Freesat regarding my Freesat TV Box on 18 October 2024, regarding their terrible ‘Everyone TV Darwin update on the 15 October 2024, requesting my system be changed back to the original operating system.The only response I received was to advise me to get help from their manuel on how to use the updated version…my problem isn’t that I’m unable to understand how to use it…it’s the very poor quality of the upgrade. I am now having to unplug and reboot my tv box about every two weeks, and I’ve also been without On-Demand for over a week. Now when I switch on my TV, a message tells me I’m not connected to the internet, even though my box is connected with ETHERNET. This is a completely unacceptable situation. Freesat has never responded to further correspondence from me or my previous Trustpilot Review. If I could have another free satellite system I most certainly would…Freesat have the public over a barrel. Most unfair.

Exceptional customer service from Hotpoint and the service engineer. Very easy to report the repair and the engineer arrived at the arranged time. The engineer was very efficient, polite and courteous and completed the repair straight away. Very happy with Owen, the engineer and the customer service we received.

I was very pleased to receive information regarding a new fixed tariff. It was easy to switch, and have peace of mind that I can change my tariff anytime I wish.

On-line buyer beware! I have been a regular customer of Superdrug both instore and online for many, many years, and I’ve always been happy with my shopping experience…till now.
I placed an online order in January 2024. However, when my order arrived, I discovered two items were missing from my parcel. I wasn’t too worried about it, as I thought it would be an easy matter to contact Superdrug and they would be sure to rectify the error…how wrong was I! I discovered, that there wasn’t a Superdrug Customer Service contact telephone number available, or an email address. The only options open to me, were to use Messenger or WhatsApp, two accounts which I do not have accounts to use. I found my only option, was to write a letter to the Superdrug office based in Surrey.
To cut a long story short, I can advise I have posted two letters to Superdrug, one letter being a formal complaint, and, after five weeks I still have not received any acknowledgement from Superdrug. The missing goods were not of great monetary value, but even so, I am shocked and appalled at the lack of customer service from a nationwide company, I would have expected more. To run a successful business, companies need to have returning customers…I think Superdrug have most likely seen the last of me.

We made our purchase of a Shark Vacuum Cleaner on Curry’s user friendly website. We could have chosen free delivery, but decided on paying a fee to choose a delivery time for the next day, and the delivery driver was polite and courteous and very prompt. We bought the vacuum cleaner at a competitive price compared with other sellers, and we are happy with our shopping experience, and of course our new vacuum cleaner which is as described on the website.

I bought my car at Evans Halshaw, Cramlington, & have always used them for the servicing & MOT of my vehicle. I have always received excellent customer service from Nicola, Alex & Kevin, & I know I can book my car service & MOT with confidence, knowing everything will be carried out efficiently by a friendly, competent team. Kevin picked up my car & delivered it back after works were carried out. Excellent customer service as usual.

I was able to book the repair to my dishwasher on line & choose a convenient day of my choice. I was contacted by text & email to confirm my booking. The engineer, Matthew, arrived on time & was friendly, polite & efficient. The repair was successfully completed on his first visit. I received exceptional customer service.

I am currently unable to write a review regarding a toaster I purchased from Argos last week. I find it quite bizarre that customers are unable to write a review for Argos, until they receive an invitation to do so. Surely, Argos can’t get a clear view of their customers thoughts & shopping experience unless they give all customers an option to write a review. I wonder if this is an attempt to stop negative reviews & I if the review procedure has changed since Sainsbury’s took over the company.

User friendly website. Very prompt delivery. I ordered a coat using the Damart website size guide & when my coat arrived it was a perfect fit, true to size. The coat was a lovely colour & good value for money. Good shopping experience.

I lost access to YouTube on 8th October. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a response from Humax until my 4th attempt. However, I eventually received an email from Ted who apologised & explained the situation & I received another email from Ted this morning advising me the problem was now resolved. After reading other reviews, I can see poor Ted must have been overwhelmed with enquires, so he must have worked hard to get back to everyone. It probably would have been easier for Humax to put on their information message earlier than they did, as it would have saved hundreds of enquires to Ted & the Customer Services Team. Never mind it’s working now thank goodness. Thanks very much Ted for all your help, it’s very much appreciated.

I started to be a regular customer at Iceland during the Covid19 lockdown. I have received excellent customer service while using the online ordering system & have found the delivery drivers at the Morpeth branch to be very polite, friendly & courteous & always punctual. I have not experienced any problems with my orders or sell by dates. Well done Iceland, you deserve a pat on the back, I’m very impressed with your service & Customer Care & I shall continue to shop with you.

Since Covid19 I have been very cautious about shopping in high street stores. However, I found my experience at Cramlington store very good. The assistant greeting customers wore a face visor & there were stands immediately inside the door way on both sides of the isle with sanitiser for customers to use on entering the shop. The assistants were very friendly & pleasant & all kept social distancing & I had a small wait to collect my goods. Well done Cramlington, I would Click & Collect again at your branch.
