I’ve checked some of the positive reviews for this company and they really don’t reflect on the mats I received today, being cautious I honestly thought my Wife had been scammed by a company claiming to be Carmats4u, however I’ve checked and it’s looking legitimate.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one.

We paid £63 for a set of car mats advertised using terms like “luxury,” “premium,” and “long-lasting.” Based on that, we expected a decent quality product. What arrived is nowhere near that standard. In all honesty, these mats resemble something you’d pick up at a car boot sale for a few pounds.

Despite arriving flat, the mats are already curled at the corners, and this is before they’ve even been used, as we don’t yet have the car. That immediately raises concerns about durability and longevity, which are heavily implied on their website.

We also opted for personalised name plates. We couldn’t add the car brand (which was declined due to copyright), so we chose our own name instead. The result looks nothing like what’s shown on the website. To make matters worse, one of the plates has been fitted crooked and isn’t even parallel with the edge of the mat. It looks rushed and poorly finished. The nameplate doesn’t even resemble the nameplates shown on their website.

The company uses a lot of persuasive wording, “luxury,” “premium,” references to high-end vehicles, but the actual product simply doesn’t live up to those claims. It feels very much like style over substance.

There are also mentions of being associated with Michelin. Based on the quality we’ve received, that’s difficult to take seriously. I would be very interested to know what Michelin would make of a product of this standard being linked to their name.

Overall, this feels misleading. The product does not match the description, the workmanship is poor, and the quality is far below what’s being advertised.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing or better still, drop me a line at Teambrewdog at AOL dot c o m and I’ll mail you what I got for £63.

I felt it was important to take the time to write a proper review for the Japanese seller Ikigai on Catawiki. As someone new to the platform, I made an error on my purchase, and I take full responsibility for that.

Despite this, Ikigai went above and beyond to help me resolve the situation. He patiently guided me through the return process, explaining everything clearly, including the postage and UK tax implications. The watch I purchased turned out to be too small for my granddaughter, yet this made no difference to the level of support I received.

In a time where good customer service can often feel like a rarity, Ikigai proved himself to be a true gentleman. His professionalism, patience, and genuine willingness to help did not go unnoticed.

He is a real credit to Catawiki, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an honest and dependable seller.

After seeing UK national news today report diesel prices in London at 166.9p per litre, I was absolutely appalled to find this Shell station in Forfar, Scotland charging a staggering 185.9p per litre.

This isn’t a small difference, it’s an excessive and unjustifiable markup that feels like blatant profiteering. There is simply no reasonable explanation for such a huge gap compared to other parts of that UK.

At a time when ordinary people are already under serious financial pressure, pricing fuel at this level comes across as exploitative and completely out of touch with the realities customers are facing.

I will not be using this station again and would strongly urge others to avoid it and check prices elsewhere. This kind of pricing should be called out. 18/03/2026

Last week I bought a vintage pair of Trussardi tartan jeans. They arrived just three days later, and I’d genuinely never seen anything like them before. At £13, they were an absolute bargain. Out of curiosity, I went back on the site and spotted a pair of red corduroy trousers by the New York clothing company IZOD. I couldn’t resist, and I’m glad I didn’t. They fit me brilliantly, and I already have the perfect shirt to go with them.

Once again, they were only £13, and judging by the cut and quality, they must have been quite expensive when new. Even better, this pair arrived in just two days.

I’m thoroughly impressed with Messina Hembry, great prices, quick delivery, and genuinely interesting clothing. I’ll definitely be becoming a regular customer.

Last summer, July 2025 I took my grown-up sons all in their 30’s and my grandchildren, ages 5 to 20 to Efteling, and it was one of those rare experiences that truly stays with you. Seeing your own children become children again, this time alongside their own kids, is a special feeling, and Efteling provided the perfect setting for that.

The park genuinely offers something for every age. From the youngest members of the family to the adults, there’s a sense of wonder throughout the entire place. It’s easy to see why Efteling is such a favourite for Europeans, it feels thoughtfully designed, immersive, and refreshingly authentic.

What also stood out was the value. We bought nine entrance tickets for roughly the price you’d pay for just two tickets at a large “American themed park” in a neighbouring country. That alone makes Efteling remarkable, especially for families.

I was genuinely pleased to hear Efteling being advertised on my local radio station in Dundee, Scotland, it deserves the recognition. We made some of our greatest family memories there. It’s a full day of entertainment, rich in atmosphere and joy, and truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.

The Bluelight Card has paid for itself many times over for me. Most recently, I saved 10% on a purchase from a site that was already offering a discount, meaning I effectively got a double saving, something you don’t expect, but are always pleased to see.

What really surprises me is just how many companies accept the Bluelight Card. It’s well worth checking before you buy anything, as you’ll often find there’s money to be saved. I use mine regularly when eating out, where savings of around 25% are quite common, and it really does add up over time.

It’s simple to use, widely accepted, and rewards you for habits you already have. If you’re eligible and not using one, you’re genuinely missing out on easy savings.

I’m very pleased with my first delivery from Noted Aromas. I ordered on Monday evening, it was shipped on Tuesday, and I received it on Wednesday in Dundee, Scotland, an excellent turnaround and exactly how online shopping should always be done.

I’ve tried both aftershaves and they smell amazingly accurate to the high end, top of the range originals, without the eye-watering price tag. The quality genuinely surprised me in the best possible way.

I had a great experience at the Fragrance Shop in Dundee. I initially approached the store thinking I already had a membership, only to realise I’d simply registered on the website and wasn’t actually a member yet. This was explained to me clearly and kindly, without any pressure at all.

The assistant’s guidance was excellent from start to finish. I decided to join there and then, paid the £15 membership fee, and still ended up saving money on my purchase, which really says it all.

The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. I’m now convinced that by shopping here for my wife’s birthday, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and Christmas, I’ll save enough over time to pay for a nice meal out. I’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend this store to others.

I attended Liverpool FC’s Brodie’s hospitality lounge at Anfield yesterday as a present from my son and his wife, and it was a truly memorable experience.

The food was very good and well presented and plenty of, the complimentary drink at half-time was a nice added touch. All of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout, which really added to the enjoyment of the day.

Although the Liverpool v Leeds match ended 0–0, the occasion itself more than made up for the lack of goals. It was my very first game at Anfield, making it all the more special. My son and I travelled down from Dundee, Scotland leaving at 7am and arriving in Liverpool around midday. Before the match we laid flowers at the 97 memorial, which was a very moving and important moment for us.

My only small criticism would be that there didn’t appear to be quite enough seating in the lounge for the number of guests attending, plenty seats empty with a jacket or jersey in place, aside from that, everything was excellent and I’d certainly hopefully be in attendance again.

Overall, a fantastic hospitality experience at Brodie’s and a day I will always remember. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking to make a matchday at Anfield truly special.

I drove through early this morning from Dundee to the Swatch shop on Princes Street, Edinburgh, and I’m genuinely glad I did. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Julius, who immediately made the experience relaxed and enjoyable.

I explained which watch I had come in for, a gift for my wife Amanda and Julius took the time to show me the watch properly, set it up, and clearly explain how it works. His knowledge of the Swatch range was excellent, and it was obvious he takes real pride in both the products and the service he provides.

What truly stood out was the attention to detail. Julius asked if I’d like the watch gift wrapped and even gave me a choice of presentation bag, which was a thoughtful and much appreciated touch.

Julius is a real credit to Swatch: professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. It’s easy to see that he has a bright future ahead in the watch business. Excellent service from start to finish, highly recommended.

I recently bought two pairs of blue Wrangler jeans and a pair of black Levi’s from Bundl. All three were in perfect condition and fitted exactly as expected. With a £10 off voucher, the total cost was just £24, which is outstanding value for money.
Ordering was simple and the jeans arrived within the same week. I’ve already passed Bundl’s details on to several people so they can benefit from quality, discounted designer jeans as well.

I’d like to leave a very positive review for Stuart at the Chisholm Hunter store in Dundee. I was standing outside looking at the watches in the window when Stuart came out, introduced himself, and simply asked if there was anything he could help me with, no pressure at all, just good old-fashioned customer service.

We ended up chatting about watches for around 20 minutes, about 10 of those in the shop. His knowledge is genuinely impressive, especially for someone so young. I was wearing my birth watch, a 1963 Tudor Submariner, and Stuart showed real enthusiasm and appreciation for it. I even let him try it on and take a photo, that level of shared interest says a lot.

It was clear to me that Stuart has a real passion for the industry, and I told him I could easily see him working with watches all his life. Experiences like this are exactly why people still value bricks-and-mortar jewellers.

I’ll certainly be back when I’m buying that Breitling Superocean we chatted about.

I recently ordered three pairs of jeans, one Levi’s and two Wranglers, and they fit absolutely perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with them. I also ordered three pairs of chinos, two Wranglers and one Ralph Lauren. Unfortunately, none of the chinos fitted me, which I was genuinely gutted about because the quality, especially the Ralph Lauren pair, was outstanding.

That said, Bundl’s 30-day return process was incredibly straightforward. No hassle at all, and my refund came through quickly. Because of how smooth everything was, I’ll definitely be ordering more jeans from them, especially for work.

We recently bought our grandson a TAG Heuer watch for his 16th birthday. He’s a huge F1 fan, so choosing a brand that sponsors the sport felt perfect, and the fact it was a limited edition made it even more special.

The whole experience in the shop was faultless. The staff made the transaction incredibly easy, guided us through everything with real care, and even offered my wife and me a drink while we sat down. It felt relaxed, professional, and genuinely first-class from start to finish.

Our grandson absolutely loves his watch, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received.

My wife and I had a burger lunch at BrewDog St Andrews last Saturday, and it was spot on from start to finish. We visit BrewDog pubs often, and this one continues to set the bar. The meal was excellent, fresh, tasty, and cooked just right, and the service was every bit as good. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole visit feel relaxed and enjoyable.

A consistently great experience, and we’ll happily be back again soon.

I recently used V12 Retail Finance when buying my grandson a luxury watch for his 16th birthday at Watches of Switzerland, and the whole process couldn’t have been smoother. Everything was clear, straightforward, and handled with real professionalism. The application was quick, the terms were easy to understand, and I felt fully supported from start to finish.

It took a lot of stress out of what was an important gift for our family, and I genuinely appreciate how easy they made it. A solid, reliable service that I’d happily use again.

We rented a car from Europcar and paid online in advance. However, when we arrived at their desk at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, we were told by the young man on duty that the car we had booked and paid for was unavailable. We were then charged an additional £90.06. Coincidentally, our son, who was right behind us in the queue, was told the same thing and had to pay the exact same amount.
The extra payment left a bitter taste, especially as I had specifically searched for “cheap car hire in the Netherlands” weeks earlier.
To make matters worse, once home, I discovered that I’d been caught driving 5 km over the limit while in the Netherlands, a €50 fine, which was fair enough. But Europcar then charged me an additional €45 simply for passing my details to the Dutch authorities, which seems excessive in today’s digital age.
All in all, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Next time I’m in the Netherlands, I’ll be using the car hire desk next to Europcar instead.

I’ve been a loyal Groupon customer for many years, but this experience has completely ruined my trust in them. I bought a £22.99 meal voucher, only to arrive and find the restaurant closed with a sign saying it had shut due to unforeseen circumstances.
I contacted Groupon several times, but replies were slow and unhelpful. I was repeatedly told to contact the merchant, who had clearly gone out of business, and was eventually offered only £22 in “Groupon Bucks” instead of a proper refund.
It’s unacceptable for a company of this size to show so little responsibility toward its customers. After years of using Groupon, I’ll no longer be doing so. Very poor service and a real disappointment.

recently purchased three pairs of used jeans and was genuinely impressed by their quality. My wife was convinced they were brand new, it took some persuading to convince her otherwise! I originally bought them for work, but they’re far too good for that. The condition, presentation, and value were outstanding. It’s clear this company takes real pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be returning as a customer.
