I signed up and was given an installation date. A few days before the installation I received an email telling me it was canceled. I called Rise Fibre (who are the same entity as 4thUtility) and was told that the date was not available and that the system closed the installation. I then took a day off to wait for the router arriving, then another day off work to send it back.
I was then told to sign back up, a new installation date was booked, a new router sent out. I then took another day off work for City Fibre turning up to do the installation but when they did, I was told by City Fibre that they were given a completely different address (totally different building adjacent to mine) so the installation couldn't go ahead again. I then had to take another day off to return the 2nd router.
City Fibre then called me to ask who booked the installation. I told them Rise Fibre (Disguised as 4thUtility), they then told me that my building will never be fibre enabled and that Rise (4thUtility) knew fine well that I couldn't get fibre, because the option for choosing my address would not have been available for them to book. Therfore, City Fibre told me that Rise Fibre (4thUtility) had bypassed this by choosing the next house number above mine that was available, which was a completely different building all together. She told me that I was never going to be able to get broadband with Rise/ City Fibre and that I was not just missold, but there was classic fraud being committed by Rise Fibre in order to push a sale through from the very start, knowing fine well I couldn't get fibre broadband, so they bypassed this by booking the installation for another address completely.
Disgusting!
Im out £120 a day for 4 days worth of wages and absolutely nothing to show for it.
City Fibre have now opened up an investigation on their end at senior level and advised me to start the complaint process with Rise Fibre (4thUtility).
I did this and received a complaint response from Rise (4thUtility) basically telling me "tuff sh*t" and from a "No Reply" email.
I have had to call Rise (4thUtility) and force them to send me a Letter of Deadlock or Final Response Letter signposting me to a regulatory body.
I will now be taking legal action against Rise Fibre (4thUtility) and I will exhaust every single avenue, resource and routes available to me.

I filled in the 4thutility registration…
I filled in the 4thutility registration form online and then minutes later got a phone call from the sales team.... they offered me a free month if I signed up. When I told them I had already signed up online, they told me I couldn't have a free month and abruptly ended the phone call! I also didn't get any welcome email from you. I eventually rang your help line and found you'd somehow got the wrong email. Other than that, the installation has gone well so far and i'm happy.

They couldn't provide complete joke…
They couldn't provide the service I paid for, was promised a refund that never appeared. Contract cancelled by them yet they put that I hadn't paid for the contract which negativly affected my credit score and after now 8 phone calls it is still not resolved.
Utter shambles with staff that lie and just tell you what you want to hear without doing as they say they will.
