Lexie Starling was brilliant. She was very helpful, making the rather torturous process both understandable and easy. I was grateful for the continuous support and for her firm negotiating position she took on my behalf.

Lexie and Shane of the Samoens office helped me to sell my farmhouse. Lexie was the main contact. She was very professional, well informed, empathetic and always had intelligent suggestions. I would recommend both Lexie and Shane without hesitation.

I recently sold a chalet in the Chamonix valley through Alpine Property. I cannot fault them in anyway. Their service was outstanding throughout. Their marketing was of an extremely high quality and the chalet sold to a cash buyer within two weeks. The agent, Claire, was amazing from start to finish. A truly personal service and I would recommend them without any reservations.

We recently completed the purchase of our apartment in Samoens through Alpine Property. Lexie and Shane are the agents for Alpine Property in Samoens and the surrounding area. For us buying in France was not that easy as the French mortgage market was going through significant changes with regulation and interest rate increases. We also bought a renovated property in a historic building which involved updating a lot of documentation for the property and the co-ownership. Both Lexie and Shane have been brilliant. Their knowledge, experience and calmness all contributed to making the process as smooth as possible. It was a real journey at times and I’m very grateful they were with us all the way. We are absolutely thrilled with the apartment and enjoying Samoens. Thank you so much.

We purchased a property recently though the Alpine team and it was a very positive experience. We were first-time, non-francophone buyers and Shane and the team were great throughout the process - friendly, responsive, helpful, honest and very transparent. The process of selling can be daunting, especially if not in your own country. Ailsa was brilliant and guided us through the process clearly and assisted in any way she could.
The procedure can be slow and complicated and having help to translate and explain documents together with liaising with the notaire was invaluable.

We have recently sold a property in Samoens, and have received outstanding service from Lexie and Shane in Samoens.
From the beginning they helped us through the process: the photos of the property that were taken were excellent, the updates following viewings were most helpful and when the the sale was nearing completion, the process with the notaire was smooth and well explained.
They both are highly effective at anticipating problems in advance, and are excellent at communication.

As a buyer I was extremely happy with the service I received from Lexie and Shane in the Samoens office. Buying abroad is always going to be a challenge, but they were honest and open about the property and the process. They stayed in touch throughout and advised me on mortgage brokers, notaires, insurance, bank account, utilities and more. They made a difficult process accessible and I am very grateful for their work.

She answered all our legitimate questions as foreign buyers. She also acted as a very efficient intermediary and translator with the seller.

I was somewhat dreading selling the apartment but Ailsa at Alpine Property made the whole experience easy. Having someone fluent in French and so well-versed in the local procedure made for an effortless sale. I was well informed at every stage and she was always available to answer questions and assist in any way – invaluable during a pandemic when you can't even enter the country.

Recently completed our property purchase in Samoens, working with Lexie supported by Shane. They were great throughout and we felt really fortunate to be working with them through the process.

It went really smoothly, even though we started and completed the whole process during the COVID lockdown. We did everything remotely - I don't think it would have been possible to complete the process without them as we went through viewing, shortlisting, agreeing a price, selecting the notaire, completing all the papework, transferring funds, completing.

Lexie / Shane were great - extra photos, walking the grounds over Zoom, helping us understand the process and requirements.

Post-sale, nothing but a good review here too, with helpful contact lists and helping us with some work we want to do here. They know the area and people here really well, which means we have access to the best local tradespeople rather than spending many years working that out for ourselves.

Really pleased to be working with Lexie & Shane and would recommend without hesitation.
