The system seems to be doing well and i did call support a couple of times during installation to make sure I was doing things correctly.
I also called and sent pictures of the mounting stand. The holes didn't line up right for the unit i had. I had to drill out 2 more holes. No one ever called me back. So maybe I should given it a 2 star. I make my living doing good work but also having great customer service. I expect the same with who i do business with.

I ordered a unit that you had on sale, only to find out that it was on back order and wouldn't receive it for almost 20 days. This totally messed my project and put me behind schedule.

Cheap unreliable unsupported
Cheap, unreliable, unsupported. Save money on a BlueRidge mini-split heat pump for $2k with $1k technician install, but eventually you pay a lot more! I purchased numerous units, but all fail. When we diagnosed a pressure switch was bad, they replaced the $20 part free, but refused to discuss the $2k charge to discharge and recharge the refrigerant, even though it is the factory's fault. Unrelated technicians say the factory-flared line sets are junk. The refrigerant pressure never holds, so we always see the dreaded error P6, pressure problem, but you need a technician to look at the outdoor circuit panel to find the error code there and measure the detailed electronics. Usually it needs additional refrigerant, seems like internal leaks. Maybe try Senville with high online reviews!

Recurring pressure errors and substantial service costs after a part replacement would understandably leave you feeling frustrated. We’d appreciate the opportunity to look into the specific issues you’ve described, but we can’t identify an order or project based upon the information in this review.
While we don’t employ field technicians, Alpine does provide lifetime technical support by phone, email, and chat. Our technical experts can work directly with the installer of your choosing during installation and on-site troubleshooting. Blueridge mini-splits carry a 5-year parts and 7-year compressor warranty; labor and refrigerant are not covered. Adding refrigerant is not a routine fix for a mini-split system. Refrigerant loss indicates a leak that needs to be located and repaired, and if that leak is at a flare connection, the connection and installation need to be assessed.

we've been buying heat pumps from them for over 20 years. then you pay a local HVAC service to install it.
save THOUSANDS of dollars doing it this way. it is
9/25 and we just ordered an R-32, 4 ton heat pump, air handler, and heat strip. found a tech who does side work to install it for $900 (company wants $1,800). they are experts at this!
