This was not our favorite of the 3 ACL cruises we have taken. The foodwasn't as good as we remembered. The excursions were kind of disappointing. We didn't particularly enjoy the entertainment; only the first two nights but that's probably because we aren't jazz, blues or bluegrass fans. The magician was funny but did too many card tricks

This was my 1st American cruise 🛳 line river cruise. I absolutely loved it every thing . Smallness ...the crew was absolutely wonderful . I am comparing this to viking river cruise down misssippi river with Viking 1 yr ago .... new river ship , I would give viking experience 3 American cruise line river boat 10 !! Viking nickle and dime you for everything ... when I got off the ship I had another bill . Everything was extra. This ship American cruise is family owned and american company . Viking is European company. Viking doesn't own misssippi boat they lease it . I am all about American brand for our country.

We enjoyed our first cruise with American Cruise Lines. Everyone was great - Everyone on the staff was great. We enjoyed meeting and talking to many of the servers in the restaurant. Many of them stopped by to chat even thought they were not serving us. Also very efficient were the housekeeping staff.
Entertainment and excursions were good and definitely plenty to do when spending time on the ship! Celebration of 250 America was a definite plus.

The overall politeness and enthusiasm of every crew and staff member aboard the American Symphony ship is what made our lower Mississippi River cruise a great experience! In addition, the food served in the dining room was great, and portions were not large; manageable to fully consume. The dining room staff were also great, prompt in serving our food and checking occasionally after serving if everything was fine. Also, the assistance of crew members in assuring the safety of people going ashore and coming back on board was excellent. I have gone on cruises on rivers in Europe with other companies, and the excellence of service with them was not as good as what American Cruise Line offers.

Incredible experience! From the service to the excursions, the food, the guest speaker-everything was perfect and nothing is left to chance! American Cruise Lines does not miss a thing to improve their guests' experience!

Food and staff were outstanding! It would have been nice to have a list of activities on board, such as bingo, etc, with some times and days. I missed a couple of activities that I didn’t know about. Maybe a printed list of times and days. Otherwise, it was an outstanding experience with a very well-oiled team to make our trip a fantastic experience!

The cruise was perfect--good food, good local guides, entertainment was fun.

This was our third American Cruise Lines cruise and we are Eagle Society members...those facts alone should indicate our preference and support for American Cruise Lines. From the maintenance of the ship, to the camaraderie of the crew, and the exquisite dining/ itineraries, you are a quality class operation! Continued sucess!

I am glad Moriah got us singles together for a meet and greet. We hung together all week and are all Facebook friends now. The whole cruise was perfect, food, entertainment,atmosphere and excursions. Thank you for making my birthday special also, I had 3 pieces of cake that day.

Had a wonderful time. The staff over all was very pleasant and made the time on board a great experience. Kathy was outstanding.

Very nice cruise. Food was wonderful. Internet was not very good but I believe the ship was having a few “technical difficulties”. Otherwise very enjoyable.

Trip met all expectations. Did not have an issue with anything on the cruise. Staff, food, and excursions were first rate. Signed up for another cruise.

This is the only way to cruise as far as I am concerned. Small and intimate. The staterooms were large and the bathroom was exceptional. The historian was excellent and the music great. All of the excursions were excellent = took a mixture of complementary and premium. The staff was outstanding.

It's so comfortable - the room, the staff, the food, the excursions - all excellent. The passengers are friendly and sociable, excited to be there. Great experience.

Your staff was excellent

This was a great cruise. I do have a comment about the lack of time in Charleston. There usually is a short activity prior to boarding the ship the first day. I didn't want to go to the expense of coming a day early. Instead of an activity we sat in the hotel lobby for 3 hours which was very disappointing. It seems that there could have been something scheduled even if it was a short activity. The entertainment needs to be more varied. The only show I enjoyed was the last night, the 2 ladies were very good. The rest of the entertainment was of no interest to me. I did enjoy the history presentations , very informative.
