Lens replacement at Anderson eye care
Mr Anderson and all the staff were personable and professional which leads to a calm environment and confidence emanates from that. Everything was explained before it was carried out and there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The facilities were modern and clean.
The procedure was quick (about 15-20mins/eye) and completely pain free.

Cataract eye surgery
All your well-wishers need an update, and you send them a text. Yesterday, texting required +4.5 prescription glasses now it needs no glasses and it’s only an hour after the procedure.
From your room back to your room is less than 45 minutes. Less than an hour later and you are going home.
Before during and after the operation, the pain score on a scale of 1 to 5 was zero.
The most surprising thing was that you can always see. Only the light he has you focusing on, but you can see it.
Another surprising thing was I could blink. Obviously, I could not blink the eye being operated on, but my mind thought I did and there was no discomfort.
The whole team is well practiced in making it stress free and I felt pampered throughout.
If you are going to do it eventually then do it sooner rather than later you will not regret it.

Understanding of the difficulties with High Myopia
I was extremely nervous about having my double cateract/lense replacement surgery but Mr Anderson was recommended to me because of his empathy and understanding of the difficulties of being highly myopic and from our first consultation I was not disappointed.
The level of care and understanding was exceptional and Mr Anderson took the time to listen to my concerns and then explain how my particular issues could be addressed. He was straight forward, clear and reassuring.
My vision after the procedures has been significantly improved and the whole process has been life changing with a dramatic reduction in my vision prescription.

Cataracts operation
I was referred to Anderson Eye Care by my optician for cataracts and I must say what a fantastic professional service.
Mr Anderson having first examined my eyes explained in simple terms what my options were and reassured be that the op would be painless. As a result I chose to have both eyes done at the same time. Having now had the op he was not wrong, totally painless and no need to be anaesthetised just local drops in each eye
I have already recommended him to my sister. You won’t find better

Impressive Outcome
David is a sympathetic listener aiming for the best outcome for his patients.
He’s given me perfect vision with trifocal lenses overcoming bad long sightedness and cataracts.
The unexpected bonus was restoring my balance to that of my youth. I had put my increasing doderiness down to age but when I went for a walk on Day 3 after the op I found that my old surefootedness had returned. This was also reflected in my driving, I now know exactly where the car is on the road and my confidence in driving accurately day and night, has returned.
A great result.

I highly recommend Anderson Eye Care. Mr Anderson and his team were professional and friendly throughout the initial consultation, during the procedure and in follow up appointments. I initially thought I would require lens replacement but Mr Anderson assured me that I only needed lasik laser surgery in one eye to get the outcome I wanted. A big financial saving for me and a perfect end result. If you’re reading this review and feeling anxious about eye surgery, don’t be you will be in very good hands.

My vision was severely impaired from…
My vision was severely impaired from birth due to high axial myopia (-12+) and astigmatism, and cataracts only worsened the situation. Mr. David Anderson was recommended to me, and he suggested IQ lens implants. The surgery was completely pain-free, and within a day, my eyesight was remarkably clear and vibrant, with an impressive field of view. The level of care from start to finish was outstanding, with every team member being exceptionally friendly, well-informed, and attentive. I wholeheartedly suggest Anderson Eyecare to anyone experiencing eye issues.

Successful surgery
I recently had refractive lens replacement surgery at this clinic and the whole experience has been outstanding from the start to the finish.
My surgeon, Mr. Anderson and his entire clinical team were truly first class, professional, reassuring and incredibly skilled.

10/10 service. I could not fault my experience with Anderson Eye Care at all, from the very start of my journey with David I felt totally at ease. He is really knowledgeable, calming and understanding and goes through everything very thoroughly at the consultation to ensure you do not leave with any unanswered questions. I was treated at Nuffield Hospital in Chandlers Ford and all the staff there are wonderful too, always making sure you are looked after. During the surgery David was amazing, very attentive and made sure i was okay and comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I strongly recommend anyone who is feeling nervous or unsure about having the surgery to book in with David for a consultation and you are sure to come out feeling positive and ready to go ahead! I have no regrets what so ever and can now see perfectly with 20/20 vision only 24 hours after surgery!

Mr Anderson and his team were brilliant
Mr Anderson and his team were exemplary from start to finish. The information and advice given to me during my first visit was detailed and thorough and I elected to have bilateral lens implants in one sitting. I felt incredibly well looked after in theatre with all staff providing me with re-assurance making me feel incredibly well looked after. I am now 6 months post surgery and my overall vision is vastly improved.
Mr Anderson's knowledge / technical ability are second to none and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

The Professional Quality of so much…
The Professional Quality of so much Skill, Knowledge and Understanding, and Experience of Ophthalmic Surgery operation and correction options, my own Cataracts and Lens implants =MAGIC . Very professional considerate and friendly
The professional service i received through the entire process of booking a consultation, having both lenses replaced and the follow-up appointment was exceptional. Every step of the way i felt confident and comfortable and now i do not need to wear glasses!. I was informed exactly what would happen during the procedure and aftercare and received a call the morning after on a Saturday to check i was ok. From my first consultation in Jersey
From my first consultation in Jersey, I was filled with confidence in an environment oozing with expertise. Following surgery a few weeks later, I had much improved vision in reading, and distance, but found my intermediate vision lacking in comparison to friend's who had also used Anderson’s clinic, no problem, at another consultation I was recommended to have a little tweaking to correct this problem. It worked! With recommended eye drops and regular cleaning of the eyes my middle vision improves daily.
It is the manner in which the Anderson Clinic responded to my concern that really impressed me, nothing was to much trouble, a true measure of professionalism.
If you are considering this treatment, rest assured, David Anderson is at the pinnacle of the Doyen of eye surgeons, a perfectionist in every way. Bob Lee

Amazing and life changing experience!
I have had an amazing experience having laser eye surgery with Anderson eye care!
The first consultation was very thorough, with multiple eye scans and tests to enable Mr Anderson to give an accurate and personalised recommendation about what type of laser eye surgery I would be most suitable for.
I was recommended to have SMILE surgery to both eyes (I had a high myopia around - 7.00 and have worn glasses since school age).
We discussed the procedure and what it will feel like at each stage. I felt completely confident in Mr Anderson's care and it's clear he has a huge amount of experience.
It was only a few weeks to wait from deciding to go ahead with the procedure and being booked in to have it done.
On the day of the surgery everyone was very warm and welcoming, helping to ease my anxieties. The actual procedure was so straightforward (for me as the patient at least!) and completely painless. I was home very shortly afterwards with my eye drop regime to start. There were a lot of drops to start with but you very quickly get used to popping them in.
Within days my vision was already so much better, glare from bright lights started to settle and I felt very minimal irritation to my eyes.
Since then it has just got better and better. My vision is pretty much perfect, I have no dry eye symptoms despite working long shifts in front of computer screens, and I still forget that I don't have my contact lenses in and that this is my actual vision now!
The cost was very reasonable, all upfront with no hidden extras, finance available from the hospital if needed.
It was a really good experience from all staff involved, but was exceptionally nice to see Mr Anderson himself for every appointment both pre and post procedure - something which is very rare to find elsewhere but really does give you the confidence and reassurance in him as a surgeon!
Thank you to all involved. I only wish I had done this years ago as it has been truly life changing for someone with vision as poor as mine was!
