I have 2 Orion 32+GEN4. Interfaces work fine but there are few minor bugs that assistance was not able to solve. Closing Control panel causes crash on the applications ( MacOs). On every update of the firmware, interface warns " failure to update". Control Panel doesn't remember the last settings and on re-opening shows all available channels, I have to recall manually the last saved session everytime.

Disappointed with Pro Tools Integration – Sample Rate Issue

The Orion 32+ has fantastic converters and incredibly flexible routing. However, my experience with it in a Pro Tools setup via Thunderbolt has been frustrating. Pro Tools simply doesn’t control the sample rate of the interface, making it impossible to switch sessions without manually adjusting settings in the Antelope Control Panel.

This has rendered over €1,000 worth of plug-ins unusable in my workflow — a truly absurd limitation for a high-end interface. I contacted Antelope support, and their reply confirmed it: “Pro Tools does not control sample rate.”

I find this unacceptable for a professional-grade product. I sincerely hope this review reaches someone at Antelope willing to take responsibility and offer a real solution

I had have an amazing experience so far. I think the audio interface should come with native plugins to be able to run in my master channel or single tracks

Antelope Audio gear is great, very good converters, very good clock, very usable preamp, but the customer service have to be more reactive when you have problem with Antelope Audio gear.

The worst “software updates” in the audio world. I don’t understand how such a prestigious brand like Antelope has such negligent and foolish software workers. In terms of recording and playback quality, the equipment is top-notch, but it's no good having a Ferrari without a steering wheel.

I kept the Orion Studio as a nice paperweight for almost a week, until I managed to solve the problems that NO SUPPORT PERSON from the brand could do.

You spend thousands of dollars on equipment that only causes headaches. Every update brings a new bug.

My experience with Antalope audio was horrible.
I purchased my interface from Guitar Center (used).

I had to stay up late several nights in a row 2-4am to get any tech support.

The tech did the same thing that I did… just uninstall, then reinstall.
NO answers to my questions.

WHY DOES THE INTERFACE GO SILENT EVERY 6 MINUTES?
No answer. I gave up. Horrible tech support.

I have over 30 years in the industry. Antalope audio has no place in a professional studio.

You sold me faulty hardware, with no answer, no solution.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA THE AMOUNT OF TIME AND SAVING IT HAS TAKEN ME TO REPLACE YOUR FAULTY PRODUCT.
I have bills, I have car repairs. Two years later, and I still can’t record.
Antalope Audio has robbed me of my ability to record music. It has taken me a long time to get back to ‘just recording’

Your interface is an expensive paperweight. It kept me up at night, then kept me up in the morning.
I lost sleep. I became depressed . I WAS FEELING THE JOY OF RECORDING AGAIN, UNTIL YOUR FAULTY HARDWARE ROBBED ME.

There are many reasons not to purchase your hardware. I believe I can convince may people online, not to make that purchase.
I have a lot of credibility. I will challenge the credibility of anyone who supports Antalope Audio, and I can do it in a live feed forum.
I will also be making music again on YouTube.
People need to know the impact businesses like yours, and Apple, have on those who don’t have the money to challenge you.

Your products don’t work as advertised. You don’t support faulty hardware. You destroy business, dreams, futures, with faulty products.

I will also have the string of emails between myself and Antalope Audio. The "dead end” tech support.
WHAT THE @#%$ DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR INTERFACE GOES DEAD EVERY FIVE TO EIGHT MINUTES? Try it! Try to play along!

If Antalope Audio refuses to respond to that????!!!! Come on? Who in the right mind would buy your products?

Maybe you can give me a reason to think otherwise? OR, maybe you will get to know my name online.
I will expose the “zero response” tech support. The cluster@uck software that has no business in a professional studio.

Guitar Center has not responded in a way that I will except. They only offered me a review of your product, then never sent the link.

Maybe you could prove me wrong. Respond to my email review. Respond to a tech question. Do something proactive, not the standard protocol list, that the consumer has done 100 times all day. Then, ask them the wait until 2am to have tech support do it again.

You sell faulty hardware, with no solutions, and no support, leaving the consumer with such buyers remorse, it makes one want to puke.
I have such remorse that I trusted your product, and I send Guitar Center F'you emails many times, before sunrise when I can’t sleep.

Love my gear but as far as the plugins go I seem to have issues with the metering on a good amount of the plugins

the sound is great, the plugins are great but something is missing: tutorials on how to use the mixer, the interface! I have a friend who has a sinergy and can't find a tutorial on how to use it with other external hardware, he doesn't understand the logic matrix that is used! otherwise, great audio cards

Very great sound quality!
Nice kind of plugin! but stability problem, even after having saved differents setting, if I open a few weeks after a mix with LogicPro, some setup doesn't appears, it's a real problem, I have to be secure when I finish long time after beginning my job...
Last thing: I would need more power, more level in headphone system and in monitoring system.
I use my discret synergy core four 5 years now.

I love my Zen Quadra.
But the brightness of the display is terrible.

Some times the server drops out for no reason and I have to unplug the interface and plug it back in for the software to recognize it.

And so I gave it 4 stars.

I’ve had multiple Antelope audio devices trough the years including an antelope zen tour and zen go interface, edge solo and note microphones and all the synergy core software, and I’ve always been in love with the sound quality and versatility of the products.

But every single product I’ve owned has failed in some way, audio connection issues, crackling sounds in both interfaces, microphones suddenly stopping working, faulty software and almost non existent customer support made me took distance from antelope audio.

Here in my country the support was taken by hands of the customer, I’ve been in a WhatsApp group that tries to resolve everything between all the frustrated people that has bought something from the company.

If you’re in the market for something audio related go somewhere else.

I'm using the Discrete 8 pro sc for one month now. Great sounding preamps and conversion, great versatility in routing. I just would appreciate being able to name tracks, inputs, outputs and mixers in the control panel's presets (in addition to the numbers). I also would appreciate if it remembered and loaded the "liking" of preamps, tracks, etc. That could improve a lot my workflow and the straight use of presets. Could it be implemented in a future firmware update? That would be perfect then!

Best sound I have had out of all my years of recording and engineering. I have the Orion studio and the zen quadro and the clarity and definition is a step above the apollos that I had

I was having a launching problem and I was promptly assisted with the solution.

Los pream de la tarjeta muy buenos, la estética de la tarjeta muy bonita Pero la conección de los drivers con Windows genera muchos problemas de la nada te deja de enviar señal y te toca desinstalar todo lo de antelope para que funcione de nuevo, con la compra de la tarjeta me regalaron unos pluguin que la verdad no puedo utilizar entonces no sé ni para que los regalan, si los utilizo en el louncher generan problema con con búfer y cancelando la señal y no dejan grabar con ellos puestos, si se utilizan por el afx2 peor aún, más malos todavía, cuando los pones y exportas o renderizas la toma, de una te la daña entonces de verdad para nada utilizo esos pluguin por que no funcionan bien y el servicio al cliente la verdad no he tenido buena experiencia le falta mejorar mucho, no se si es por qué se les habla en español y depronto no lo entienden muy bien o simplemente les falta atender mejor. Yo creo que si estos inconvenientes con el software y los pluguin de la tarjeta no mejoran creo que me cambio de marca por qué tenía una expectativa mas alta sobre sus productos y sistema antelope.

I've been using Orion Studio Synergy Core for years and I've just added the A4-1B. Orion Studio is the best interface I can imagine, and although I'm still exploring what the A4-1B is capable of, for now I'm loving it for my vocal chains.

The service team is great but even though the hardware does what it should, since day one Antelope have not been able to fix the software and new versions break old functionality and thus the customer is supposed to analyse the root cause... this is not acceptable. Don't recommend the product!

Easy to use, and a great sound.
I did TONS of research before purchasing the Zen-Q. All of the reviews I read, and videos I watched, pretty much all said the same thing. "OUTSTANDING!"
That has been my experience as well.
It's hard to go wrong with Antelope interfaces, and the plugins can't be beat.

I am thankful for this Antelope sound board !The plugins are great and very affordable !

J'ai commencé par une Zen go puis une Zen Q et je suis très heureux, je fais des petits Live et j'utilise la mobilité avec un portable en USB c et je peux tenir une bonne heure... j'aime vraiment Antelope, avec ses routing incroyable et effets .
