Antelope makes some awesome gear, that works and sounds really amazing.
The big drawback is that the nonexistent legacy drivers.

Just as the title says. Also, the realtime plugins drop out at usually when creativity strikes. I own no UAD hardware, but tons of their native plugins. They work without hiccups, or subscription. Will be purchasing apollo because Antelope counts on it's name instead of standing on it.

Antelope Hardware is incredibly good. The software is very overpriced and can sometimes be a little annoying, especially with the routing matrix. I really think Antelope should consider the fact that for ten euros per month I get all the PA Alliance plugins... This makes their software seem totally overpriced.
But, the Antelope team seem very friendly, they're quick to reply and were very patient and helpful with my questions. :-)

Auraverb 3/10 was mis-sold as I though I could use it for mixing. But, I can only use it for tracking/monitoring. And was then told I need to pay a yearly subscription to gain access to reverb alternatives. I mean, come on... Not cool. Especially as (see above), the plugins/subscription is way too expensive.

The soul of The Atelier Music Studio, my Grammy nominated studio is the Orion Studio Synergy Core, which replaced the previous version of the Orion Studio. The sound quality, the clock, the plugins and the afx2daw are unmatched and work seamlessly. Five stars hands down!

I started using Antelope products with the first generation “Discrete8”.

Since then, we have tried “Orion Studio SC,” “Discrete8 SC,” “Discrete8 Pro SC,” “Zen Tour SC,” “Zen Q (TB),” “Zen Go (USB),” and almost all others except the highest-end models.

Overall, the hardware is generally excellent, but there are a few areas where the behavior of the applications, in other words, the programs, is questionable.

Even though the interface is recognized, the mixer panel falls down and the effects also behave suspiciously.

Nowadays, plug-in effects are available by subscription, but with that Quality, it is hard to feel comfortable using them, and I don't think I would be willing to pay for them.

I have the impression that Antelope is a “hardware manufacturer” that specializes in “clock generator
”.

If you are considering introducing this as a software or interface manufacturer, you should be prepared for a certain degree of quirks in operation.

As a side note, I stopped using the “FPGA FX” based guitar plug-in effect because it produced a strange noise when chalking in the high frequencies.

I haven't checked if it is improved now.

Estoy muy contento con la calidad de la interfaz, aunque en Windows he tenido alguna molestia porque en algunas ocasiones no es reconocido por el PC, me encanta que al tener el paquete de plugins completo tenga acceso a nuevos lanzamientos, es un extra que agradezco muchísimo! Sólo espero que con las actualizaciones de la zen quadro para Windows dejen de existir esos pequeños Bugs, sinceramente gracias!

Actually i am happy with the quality but it is a shame that they wrote on their website that the thunderbolt version will also support afx2daw soon. Years are just passing and still no support and now I can see that the product is not available anymore, maybe discontinued. So all in all I am very disappointed if I had that information by the time I would buy the usb version instead....

I hope the driver interface is more stable startup faster, then ZentourSC as soon as possible to revolutionize, the current zentourSC does not have a power button, there is a problem with switching on and off, I hope that in the new product can improve this problem!

I don’t like your subscription model…I should be able to buy individual plugins. Right now the plugin i want is only available via subscription only.

Antelope Audio is highly underrated in the US, I purchased my first interface “Discrete 4: SC” and was very impressed with the sound of the pre-amps and A/D converters. Best value for your money and when combined with their amazing plugins and IO, you get a lot for what you pay for. Their customer service is quick to respond and very helpful. Long live AA!

I bought the Galaxy 64 for the amount of I/O’s it offers and I’ve been super happy with the quality of the sound and the ease of use of the Unit. The ability to connect any in with any out is a great feature and very useful in any studio scenario.

PLEASE finish the os firmware of zen Tour, clean the bugs and make improves. Also, please make the launcher compatible ARM for Mac OS native

Say what you will about this companies past. I believe they have really listened & have greatly improved their customer experience. The hardware is rock solid & the software is now right there with it. Any issues that have ever come up for me, they have solved easily & quickly. I do think they have a ways still to go in earning back peoples trust in them. But all my interactions with Antelope Audio has shown me that they are on the right track.

My score is mostly about the complexity of the product, specifically the way you monitor ins and outs in that software. I have a 32 channel mixing baord and its not clear even after several months hwo that works. Also, the plugin library that I purchased is incompatible with Mark of The Unicorn's Digital Performer software, one that has been on the market since 1990. I wasted about $100 on software your company provides, but its compaitiblity makes it useless to me. Your company siggested I change my entire system and workllow by getting another DAW you do support which was simply an uneducated suggestion.

I have yet to harness anywhere nere the value from my Orion 32 mk4 I expected to get and would largely be receiving if I continured with Universal Audio.

I love my antelope audiogear. The sound is amazing. Compared to my previous equipment.
But most of all, I am very impressed with antelope‘s customer service. The customer service team is top-notch and really know their stuff.

Bought an Orion 32 Gen 4, the sound quality is superior but I think is not well explained in the description. I live in Argentina so is not easy to get one. I wonder why is not named as a converter, since is not exactly an audio interface. You don’t have physical pre amps and can’t use digital ones either. And again, is not well explained online. Took me a while to understand it and still struggling with it, and the tech support in my case was slow and not empathic. Said that, the unit sounds really good.

I’m running a zenq on an M1 Mac Studio and the drivers are still in Intel Rosetta compatibility, it has been years waiting and still no new drivers also there is some kind of server running in the background and it is just a mess yes it works but not as efficient and straight forward as it should be, I was forced to go back to UAD as my main setup instead. I hope more time is spent on drivers and software.
