Atticus support is always done in a timely manner and provided in a spirit that shows they have a sincere interest in their customers. The staff members are both friendly and competent. Unlike many other sites I've been involved with, they never make you feel like you're an annoyance.

I was killing myself with Kindle Create, specially with the pictures in my book. Now with Atticus i made it. Also with a direct help from Atticus within hours. Thanks a lot. It makes life much easier!

I love Atticus. I'm 76 and terrified of technology. Monique is always on call to help me and her videos are nice and clear. My arthritic hands can't slip on the mouse and wipe away pages of work. It's saved as I write. I don't have Microsoft interfering as I write. I have a nice large page to work on, all sorts of delightful fonts and styles and formats to play with, and decorative twiddles and bits to add to pages. I can import pictures, illustrations and make a book a visual delight. I'm hoping the team will get on to audio next but meantime I'm working on lots of stories which will be published with illustrations.
I love Atticus.

I would definitely recommend Atticus to any author interested in formatting your own book! I used Atticus to format my debut novel and it looks superb!

As someone with no skills in book formatting, I was unsure and really worried in the beginning. But Atticus is very easy to use and their Youtube tutorials are so helpful. The tutorials cover any/all questions you may have and explains things very well. When I had technical difficulties that couldn’t be resolved by watching the videos, I reached out to their customer service and my questions were resolved shortly. After publishing my first book, I learned that it’s very important to have good customer service and Atticus provides that without a doubt. They are super nice, quick to reply, and very efficient at helping me resolve any problems.

I had a very positive experience with Atticus, but here are some things I would like to note.

1. I downloaded Atticus’ app on my laptop and noticed that my laptop overheats if I have more than two tabs/browsers open. I would suggest when using the Atticus app, try to only have that and/or one other browser open.
-But this is not at all a dealbreaker since it is normal for the computer to slow down with multiple browsers/tabs open.

2. Although Atticus provides you with many amazing formatting options, you can only design one template and stick to that for the entirety of your book. For example, if I wanted a different font (typography) for my chapter title versus my acknowledgements title font, I can’t. You can only choose one chapter title font.
-But again, this is not a dealbreaker since Atticus is constantly updating so I’m sure we will see more flexibility in this soon. They also have numerous fonts to choose from so that is super cool!

There are many formatting softwares to consider, but I think what makes Atticus stand out the most is their wonderful customer service, well-explained tutorials, and of course the one-time purchase + continuous updates with no additional price. And one really random thing I love about Atticus is their logo. I just love to see Atticus (top dog) run around every time I open the app and wait for things to load.

Overall, I absolutely adore Atticus and cannot recommend it enough. I’m so happy with the way my book’s formatting turned out and am excited to see how great my next book would look like.

Cid got onto the issue I had with exporting my file... and carried on digging until they came up with the answer for me. So relieved to have cracked the problem! Truly fantastic customer service from Atticus.

The support that Atticus gives to its customers is amazing. I had a simple problem (it turns out), but was given various options in which to fix it. And had none of them worked, they would have dug deeper for me. Turns out logging out and then is all it took! And their follow-up to make sure everything was working is beyond expected. I love this company and using their Atticus software for formatting my books is a game changer.

It is amazing to see how far this program has come. Not only does it make amazing books, but it also is far cheaper than some of the other options out there. Love love love!

This software/app is totally worthless. It could be great but the number of glitches it has is incredibly frustrating. One of glitches is that it keep closing down out of nowhere and when I open it again, nothing has been saved (which is frustrating if you editing a book and have to start all over again). I wouldn't use it again even if it was free.

I bought Atticus because it was a one time purchase not a subscription service you pay forever to use. I bought this book formatting software 8/10/2022 and waited until 11/4/2022 to do a review because I wanted to use it awhile first. I gave it 4 starts because they are new and still updating items in their program. Which tells me they listen to their users. When I contacted them with questions and suggestions I got a reply that same day! I never used a software like this before. I love their YouTube instructional videos! They are very easy to understand. Just finished my 1st book using this software and I will continue to use it.
