Owner is a guy called Lewis Bryden of South Sheilds, Tyne on Wear. He takes your money, lots of BS about a delivery, and then nothing! Very sad! Don't waste your money with this scam artist! His home address is on companies house, I'll be dropping him a letter!

Like many of you, I'm finally working out that this is a total scam. Ordered in January, got all the "delays in shipping" emails and now the site is gone, their socials are deleted and I'm reading these reviews and yeah - clearly they're fake. HOWEVER, they did run a Shopify site (hence why they didn't seem dodgy to begin with) so I've just contacted Shopify to see what they can do about this, and if enough of us contact Shopify, perhaps we'll get some traction on it all. Go to Shopify's site and search for "Contact Us" - fingers crossed for some sort of resolution.

Well, this is the last startup I sponsored. The last 4 didn't deliver and Bambooi is one of them. Total Scam! And now I read that some have received the brushes but not the quality that was promised. £80.- down the drain...

A truly awful company
A truly awful company. First of all, there was a lack of communication on when preorders will be sent out. The customer service email/phone is shameful. Keeping customers updated is useful to build brand trust. Remember that!!!! Secondly, now I finally received the item, the product only looks good. I have to charge the toothbrush every 10 days and I charge it for over 10 hours when I do. (if I don't it lasts one day). This is not a reliable company and probably borderlines a scam. I wish I had bought from Suri as you will notice the vast difference in customer feedback.
Don't deal with this company
I ordered my toothbrush from Bambooi on 5th Feb this year. The next day they mailed an offer for brush heads which I added to my order.Still no toothbrush or brush heads! The thing is they kept sending the poor us mails and pleas to be patient as we WOULD get our orders. Because of their pleas I didn't cancel my order,they sounded genuine and because of this when I eventually decided to try to get my money back my bank wouldn't reimburse for the brush as their time limit had expired but as I'd paid for the heads on paypal they did reimburse. Good for paypal. I would strongly advise not to deal with this company. I lost £40. They didn't reply to one of my mails either.
Scam - 0 starts - do not order - no customer service
Would like to give 0 stars realistically. Ordered toothbrush in October 2021 after doing as many checks as I could. Still not received (September 2022). Received regular generic emails updating regarding delays advising to contact them via live chat if certain deadlines past. When you did this it sent a generic message stating they there are delays so basically do not contact. I've sent several messages via contact form on website. I receive a delivery receipt saying they will get back to me as soon as possible - never had a reply. Left Facebook messages and still nothing. I received and updated a number of months ago saying this was ready for shipping but still no movement. It appears impossible to contact any customer service to get answers. I would advise ordering from elsewhere if wanting a similar product.

Iâm giving a generous two stars because I did actually receive the two toothbrushes I ordered, and a replacement for one of them which was faulty from the start, and for a couple of faulty heads (not a great track record on quality). However, since then my experience has gone downhill. All three toothbrushes have been faulty and only one of them now works at all, the fault being that the length of time the battery lasts was very much overstated. Two mins twice per day for about three days and it needs charging again. The other two donât work at all with a combination of issues with the button and the mechanism - the insides get pushed down within the casing. âSophieâ is no longer responding to my emails which is pretty frustrating. I just want to return all of them and get my money back - and it would be great to trust that they will all be recycled but I somehow doubt that. Very disappointing waste of time and money.

Although I was frustrated with the initial delays with the brush, once I received it I was very happy with the product. I then discovered that the charger did not work but this was addressed promptly by Sophie at customer services and I was happy until 2 weeks ago when the charger failed again. Despite attempting to contacting the company via several methods and receiving an automated response about being busy, I have not heard anything. I have seen it suggested that the company is going under but I do not know if itâs true. Not to be honest with customers or respond to them is unacceptable. I am disappointed and assume I will have to write it off to experience. I was also unaware that it was a crowdfunding endeavour but I doubt that would have changed my decision to buy. It is such a shame .

This company is a complete scam. Still waiting over a year later for my refund. The product is poor, the company are ignoring my emails and when I tried contacting them on Instagram they blocked me. Clearly never getting my money back despite their refund policy. Avoid this business!!

Absolutely rubbish. Ordered and paid October. Partial order arrived April, promised refund for items not received never arrived. Brush stopped working June. Replacement never received and all communication ceased. AVOID!!!!

Terrible communication/customer service, when the product did finally arrive it was awful ( unfortunately we ordered 4)-our first visit to the dentist a few months after revealed they donât even clean your teeth properly. We also ordered extra toothbrush heads which never arrived. Would certainly not recommend!

Took forever to arrive. Worked for a couple of weeks then power switch wonât work. Charge never lasted the six weeks they promised (which I wouldnât be,Evie anyway).

Con arrest at its best
Like many others, pre-ordered back in March, received in Jul but within 2 weeks there was a faulty Battery, Iâve been emailing since and via the website but no response, complete scam. I am now trying to get a refund via my bank, the deposit I got back from PayPal, Wish I paid the whole thing through them as this would be sorted by now. Complete con.
Poor communication
My bambooi toothbrush arrived in May and I was really pleased at first but it wouldn't recharge properly and so I couldn't use it. I have contacted the company by email and through their website several times and apart from the initial automatic response which tells me they are very busy, I haven't heard anything. I would just like to speak to someone about getting this issue sorted.

I intend to contact trading standards again tomorrow when they they reopen to update my case against them with this new information.

I ordered in May, but by end of august contacted them to cancel (as per their own t&c ) and request refund. I clarified I didnât want the order to be completed. I got a quick response to say âwhy do you think a refund is possible?â He said I made a preorder via a crowdfunder (I did not - I bought a toothbrush) and informed me the company was going to be liquidated in weeks. I was also informed that â Please note that it will be considered fraud if you choose to open a chargeback with your bank and legal action will be taken to recoup funds and reverse damages caused by your chargebackâ (also not true- I havenât received the goods). How very awful is this baseless threat?

Eventually it got to the beginning of July and I decided to contact them. A week later I received an email telling me my order was on its way. It duly arrived. Initially I was impressed with it - in came in a beautifully constructed box of excellent quality. So, I thought, this looks good! However. It doesnât charge well at all, lasts 2-3 weeks, not 8 as claimed, has a tacky appearance and the power of the actual brushing is very poor. It also doesnât warn you as to when the charge is getting low. It just cuts out! Iâve been using it for just over 4 weeks now and now onto the 2nd head. The brush wonât stay on the shaft. Brushing is nigh impossible and it certainly doesnât clean your teeth properly. I wish Iâd read these reviews before buying! Im going to try for a refund, but doubt Iâll get one (I was away for almost all of August, so my 30 days has expired) otherwise I will approach my credit card. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST!
