We adopted a dog from Battersea 3 weeks ago now and she has settled in extremely well we did have a scare a week ago and had to go back and visit the vets but they were fantastic if I had the room I would adopt more from Battersea as the process was very quick and all the people there were very friendly

Battersea made things very easy for me to re-home another rescue dog. Some rescues seem to want donations rather than re-homing the animals they have. Battersea were very helpful. Lots of information about the dog I have re-homed, who is an absolute delight, and is settling in very well.

Every step of the process was smooth and easy. We had full confidence in the process and knew that the best outcome for the kitten that we adopted was the top priority in the whole process. Detailed discussions were had over the phone so that they could ensure that our family was the right match for the kittens that they had in mind. It felt that we were chosen for our kitten rather than the other way round, which I loved. We now have the most perfect kitten as part of our family. I highly recommend rehoming a pet through Battersea, I wouldn’t have wanted to do it any other way.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They took the time to match me with a dog that was the perfect fit for my home and lifestyle. The process was easy to follow and they made sure I had all the necessary information

From registering at the old Windsor site to finding our beautiful cat the process was very thorough and the matching for us was perfect. She came home with a few of her toys, a weeks worth of food and a favourite blanket. When we had problems in the first week with her feeding. She refused to eat anything and just wanted to scratch around the food to try to cover it up, the Battersea clinic gave us some helpful advice and information to help the situation and now I can thankfully say Polly is eating and drinking with gusto, and has firmly found her place in our home and in our hearts.

A breath of fresh air from an animal charity. Having owned dogs for 40 years we were finding it far too difficult to rescue a dog from local charities. Not enough consideration given to the owners circumstances and history. A friend in Australia e-mailed me about Max (Collie Husky Cross) and within 24 hours of completing the forms and a thorough discussion we had the green light. 24 hours later we travelled from Nottingham to collect him and he's been with us 2 weeks and settled brilliantly. We're walking 20,000 steps a day and he's eating like a lord and sleeping on our bed. He has lots of new friends and a home for life. Battersea stood out way above the competition although I'm sad to say some dogs in local kennels are there due to needless red tape / bureaucracy. Well done Battersea - you could employ a trainer to give advice to lesser established charities run by demented elderly women. (I won't name names😁)

From start to finish, Battersea were thorough, professional, courteous, caring, helpful & lovely to deal with. I couldn't recommend them highly enough for a great place to adopt a cat from.

I ve just completed a on line application for a older cat who could benefit from a loving home and a small balcony.my previous short haired tabby of 20 years old who was much loved and well cared for has gone to cat heaven over Christmas. My application was immediately rejected with no explanation.I can't believe good would be owners with plenty of genuine references are rejected probably because of a scoring algorithm or some other bot.

Took a few months to find the right dog and then we got two gorgeous dogs for us but well worth it!
Staff very supportive, friendly, hardworking, 100% committed to their job of caring for all the dogs and cats. Had a glitch with technology/paperwork but all good.
My husband and I are very happy dog owners with two dogs that have settled in really well and were well cared for. Thank you so much.

I had one the worst experiences of my life with Battersea. I trusted them implicitly and never questioned a thing. Having gone through an adoption process and absolute heartbreak, I have come to view them as money hungry and an organisation who care more about their public image than anything else. I will never trust them again and have told everyone I know about my experience and will continue to tell others in the future. Do your research and question everything.

The business practice of door to door sales is annoying but even more so when it is at unacceptable times. How can you justify going door to door after 8pm? If I was to donate to a charity it would certainly not be one located 100s of miles away with a questionable reputation like yours.

Battersea were excellent from start to finish and I now live with a beautiful dog. The transition couldn’t have been smoother and it’s all thanks to lovely, caring and efficient staff team.

We found that the staff at Battersea were all wonderful. They couldn’t give enough advice and help. When they suggested our new dog it was a perfect choice. They been there for us at all times if we needed them. Thank you again for your wonderful service.

Absolutely brilliant experience rehoming our 8-week old Lurcher puppy. Such a friendly team & so helpful during the rehoming process, couldn't recommend enough!

Lovely people doing such important work for animals in need, we rehomed our beautiful boy 2 weeks ago and he is settling in so well and is part of the family already. Would absolutely recommend adopting a cat or kitten from Battersea 10/10

I'm so happy to have rehomed a very handsome young cat from Battersea. The process was super efficient from start to finish, and they really do care that you adopt a cat that fits your needs. A full vet check, vaccinations, worming etc, microchipping, food, a few toys, a period of pet insurance..and no cat leaves unless they are well and ready. I can't see why you would go anywhere else!

Everyone involved explained and guided us through the process of adopting Sushi.So thank you to Elizabeth,Emily and Riya,who obviously enjoy their work.

Battersea staff are very friendly. And looking at the dogs 🐕 they are well kept. My new dog Coco is a very living and playful. But there are some bad points. We was told that Coco can slowly socialise with other dogs. But she is very aggressive towards them, and if she had teeth she would of ripped them to pieces
