The time table of the busses was not published ahead. The air conditioning in the bus was not working properly, I suffered a lot of the heat of the city

The best way to see a city! When you have a limited time like we did, the Big Bus Tours allow you to see everything and feel like you didn't miss out on any major attraction. You can get on and off as you please, they have water for you as you board and the commentary gives you all the information you need. Highly recommended!

You are able to see a lot of the sights but spend a lot of time on the road driving on the highways so seems somewhat expensive.

Also, buses aren't regulated to ensure that they aren't overcrowded. We caught the first bus of the day at 10:30 and there were too many people for one bus (some had to stand) so for the first 30 minutes many people in the bottom of the bus couldn't see anything. I don't know why they didn't get another bus (I think there may have been a cruise ship docked that day). At one point, it was much too hot at the top of the bus and no shade, but when you went downstairs, there was almost no air conditioning making it an extremely uncomfortable trip and many of the audio plugs weren't working. Although it is a quick way to see the sights, it is not recommended in the afternoon (other than in winter).

Red route takes a long time, especially from the mosque back to down town Abu Dhabi and it is not the best value Big Bus Tour we have ever done

This is a great idea, but the time taken actual travelling is a large proportion of the day, this dosen't leave a lot of time to see the actual attractions. also if you are on the last bus back, you may need to take a taxi to your hotel,as the bus ends at the Grand Mosque.
Time is important on a holiday so bearing in mind Taxi costs are relatively cheap, thats what i would do next time.
Personally i thought the Bus was quite expensive for what it was. But they do provide free water.

It was great experience however we had to miss the river cruise as it was not running that day. What was frustrating was that the person did not tell us beforehand and we took second round just for the cruise which was a complete waste of time.
Similarly there are no clear signs for stop at CORNICHE and it took half an hour to find the right spot.
I must also thank for the cold water bottles and the friendly drivers plus the young lady at the Marina point.

Es war super. Habe ich Tickets in Deutschland geordert, dadurch preiswerter. Es gab Wasser im Bus für die Gäste. Der Zeitplan wurde eingehalten. Man konnte sich auf die Abfahrzeiten verlassen.

Easy way to see the sites of Abu Dhabi and to select where you want to explore further. A two day pass is good value if you have the time.

The first bus that came along on the corniche stop number 10 on my first day was full, he said the decks bus would be right behind him ,20 minutes later I got on the next bus which was also full but I got the last of the few seats my headphone jack did not work so I could not hear the tour and since the bus was full could not move to another seat .the lady next to mine said hers was working just fine so I just rode around looking at things not knowing what anything was. Got off after a trip all the way around and bought the two day pass the next day got on the bus Which was quite empty and got a headphone jack that was working but I would’ve really been disappointed if I only bought the one-day pass since all of their equipment wasn’t functioning properly. Other than that the buses are comfortable clean and I like the Free cold water.

Nice tour and good information on all included touristic points in varius languages.

Sadly I’m not very impressed with this company iv given them 1star but I couldn’t write about our experience with the above company they !!!!
We booked our day tickets the evening before on line on the 27th March they took the money out of my bank account but didn’t supply us with our tickets???
So the next morning we contacted them as we had not received any tickets, they told us that they didn’t have any record of our transaction,so we was told to buy 2 more tickets which as we was only in Abu Dhabi for that day we did .
Iv just received a refund 2 weeks later but not a full refund because of the exchange rate , I’m out of pocket, so not only did they not supply us with our tickets !!! We also wasting a morning trying to sort this out a few apologies later no offer of compensation I would never use them again!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good tour. The availability of wifi on board was a bonus. I think having power outlets on board would be helpful.There is alot to see on this trip so you might want to considered doing it over 2-3 days. if you have the time or catch the first bus to do both lines.

Decent busses and staff, but customer doesn't know when and how many busses will arrive, there is no shedule. The roundtrip is longer as expected, especially the green line, which we had to skip unfortunately. Customers should be better informed en posted because Abu Dhabi is a big city.

I had a horrific experience with Big Bus in Abu Dhabi. I was visiting from NYC, and I always recommend my visitors take the Big Bus tours. This was my first personal experience with Big Bus, I bought a day pass but got to the Marina Mall late, and OJ suggested we come back tomorrow to do the tour, we agreed we would come the following day, however he did scan our tickets and gave us a pamphlet. The following day we drove around Abu Dhabi looking for the big bus, we drove to the Emerites Palace and could not locate the pick up location of the bus, we decided to ask our cab driver to just drop us off the Grand Mosque and we would get on the tour from there. Unfortunately, when we tried boarding the bus, we were not allowed to get on the bus. According to the person that takes the tickets, he said our 24 hour ticket had expired. We explained to him that we never got on the bus, and that we bought a day tour pass. He did not care, and left us stranded at the Grand Mosque. Worst experience of my life, they were not accommodating and even when he called OJ, he just refused to let us on board.
