Falta humanidad y respeto personas mayores
Buenas noches,
Quisiera comentarles que me parece una falta de respeto y de muy poca vergüenza como han tratado a mis padres hoy en Viena. Primero de todo, son personas de 70 años que no han podido ni coger el último bus porque el interventor les estaba poniendo problemas con el tíquet. Yo compré dos billetes premium y eso especifica en la página bus nocturno a lo cual se lo han negado y los han metido en un tranvía teniendo que andar 2 kilómetros más los dos de antes porque el interventor no ha dejado subir a último autobús. No tienen plano de las paradas y desde españa tengo que enviárselo. Es una falta de humanidad que traten así a dos personas tan mayores. Hoy han perdido un día de bus sin poder subirse en ninguna parada y teniendo que andar muchísimo por un fallo suyo, es deleznable su actitud.

The firts part was information about the buildings where passing. The blueline was better but overall it was worthwhile to take the drop off/ on bus.

Good overview of Vienna
The audio guides are pleasant, informative, well paced, with helpful, pleasant musical backgrounds. The staff were all extremely professional, helpful and very, very patient. The drivers were very safe. The buses came frequently. The app was very handy to track buses. In addition to headsets, rain ponchos were provided. The Red tour was good. The Blue tour spend at least half the time in traffic through uninteresting suburbs and one stop was the train station, which has all the appeal of a train station: trafffic and nearby strip clubs. Why is this a stop on a “tour”? The Night tour was mildly interesting, but we went on a cold, slightly rainy night and the windows were so fogged up that you could not see out - of a tour bus! They should provide tourists with cheap hand towels to wipe the windows.

Not Enough Hours in the Day!
Had booked a blue/red 1 day ticket HoHo, for our one day visit to Vienna. Our experience was not great, but not directly due to Big Bus Tours. Firstly we arrived an hour later than planned into Vienna, due to rail issues. Then all tours on the day were stopped an hour early, due to some demonstration. So we were only able to complete the somewhat basic blue route and only a small bit of the red route. Turned out to be a great waste of money in fact.
Moral of the story- leave yourself plenty of time to do your HOHo tour!

Overall positive
We took the Vienna blue and red lines and also did the night tour. All we’re very good and informative. I think perhaps more buses are required as it was too busy / the buses were full on the Saturday. The Friday was ok but still very full. There was condensation on the windows which impaired viewing. The online price is good. The first bus we got to could not exchange our online booking for tickets so I had to leave my elderly mother and walk to another stop for this which wa frustrating. The complimentary gluhwein was a bonus.

Would recommend
Buses really regular, easy to find and very clean. The commentary was informative. They gave us a free extra day on a 2 day ticket, and a voucher for a Christmas punch. Very good value.
