From first contacting the company to aftercare the service from Blake and Bull could not have been better. The engineer arrived to rebuild our AGA and convert it to electric. He arrived early, completed the job quicker than anticipated and what a thoroughly nice chap he was!! I loved their policy of refurbishing parts, so we got a shiny "new" cooker which is still our old friend! We also have a very happy cat!

Very happy with our Aga re-enamel from Blake and Bull. It looks like a new one, I wish we’d done it years ago.

Blake and Bull were lovely and informative from the start of my initial enquiry to Jason saying good bye having made my 23 year old Aga look like it can do another 23 years on the Level two plan. Excellent customer service, very clean and tidy whilst cleaning the Aga. I shall be using them again for a regular Level one service clean. Very helpful, lots of information, answered all our questions and more. Fitting of the Aga was smooth and efficient, the fitter contacted us a few days in advance to check we were ready. On the day we could adjust the final location until we were happy, it was then built up with the fitter explaining what they were doing and then we were given a comprehensive tutorial on it's operation. He left us his phone number in case we had any more questions, we haven't needed to call him.

Great service from Blake & Bull - from start to finish. They offer a clever controllable electric conversion that enabled us to update our Aga and make it economical to run despite the high cost of energy. Their communication was excellent, and Dan their brilliant engineer was friendly and professional.

I visited Blake and Bull just before Christmas and after a cup of coffee and a detailed chat with Mathew I decided to go ahead with a full refurbishment and eControl conversion for my pre 1974 Aga as part of a complete update of my kitchen. I'm truly delighted with the refurbishment and have been enjoying a new cooking experience for the last couple of weeks now. All involved at Blake and Bull have been first rate - their knowledge, guidance and customer service (pre and post sale) have been top notch and the teams that have visited have been really great too - even making it here after heavy snowfall! I have no hesitation in recommending the whole experience!

Blake & Bull are so refreshing. They have an encyclopedic knowledge of their products and take unparalleled pride in their work and their attention to detail is second to none.
They have helped me every step of the way along the electric conversion journey (eControl series X with instaheat hob) of my gas Aga. They also refurbished it so it looks like new.

Blake and Bull - A great Company, so efficient to deal with an amazing restoration on my AGA which been used day in and day out for 38 years.

Not only are their products great but Blake and Bull are, in my opinion, an exceptional company. I had my AGA converted by them to the Electrikit system. In the run up to the work the staff were incredibly helpful and the communication was excellent.

On the day they arrived promptly at the allotted time. Their engineer was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly tidy with the work. He kept me updated with his progress and when we encountered an unexpected snag he was very open and honest about the problem and the solution. Thanks to him and the team back at the office the problem was resolved completely satisfactorily. Before he left he made sure I understood the whole system. It was a pleasure to have him working here.

The saving in electricity is massive using the Electrikit system and has meant the difference between keeping and getting rid of the AGA because of cost.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company if you are thinking of converting an AGA to electricity.

The service we have received from the first time of contact to now has been fantastic. We had our Aga converted to electricity and the team have been very supportive from the beginning.

To start with we had a great zoom link with Blake & Bull who talked us through the options and answered any questions. They continued to be very helpful afterwards answering any concerns.

The day of conversion went very smoothly, Antony did an amazing job and we are SO happy we decided to do this with the Aga. Thank you.

We are so pleased with the refurbishment of our electric AGA with eControl Series X which has exceeded our expectations in several ways.

This is still an Aga, the kitchen is toastie in the morning, even on Eco!

In the run up to the installation we had various email conversations confirming details, dates and timings which was most helpful. Julian and Ross were our engineers on the day, and Julian rang me the day before the installation with final confirmation which was reassuring.

They arrived a few minutes early on the day and worked continuously, advising on timing with an expected finish time of approximately 4pm. The whole AGA was stripped down and rebuilt with apparent ease and professionalism. Care was taken protecting the kitchen work surfaces and floor and both were easy and pleasant to have working in our home. The whole job was completed exactly to time, 4pm ending with a useful verbal explanation, hints and tips, backed up with written information.

It is now just over three weeks since we had the eControl installed and we are definitely impressed.

Just OK. But at the cost, it should and could have been better.

First the positives. The two engineers who did the work were polite, courteous worked very cleanly and were ultra considerate. They rang me the day before to confirm they were to arrive the following morning. When they arrived they were down to work from the start. They took care and exuded confidence in what they were doing. In short, professional.

Not so good is the quality of the re-enamelling.

Superficially it looks fine but...... There are clearly missing bits of enamel, tiny black pin head sized marks within the cream enamel, a couple of small indents and other surface defects, which I hope don't start to fail later and become a problem.

I am left wondering if they don't have great quality control over the re-enamelling, or if they do but send out a product with obvious defects. Of course, it could be my expectations were too high.

All of which is a tad disappointing but not the end of the world. I had already built in a level of disappointment.

Tip: if you go ahead with the full refurb. When the engineers arrive ask them to take out the hob, front panel and doors and inspect them in good light before they start to dismantle your existing Aga. Once they have started it is too late. Oh, and check the chrome work on the domes.

Dealing with the office while ordering and paying were easy and efficient. I too was worried about paying them a few thousand pounds which they would have for a few months. But they suggested paying by credit card and set up a payment link.

This company took a large deposit from us at the beginning of 2022 for a set of automated gates, we approved the design less than 7 days ago, delivery due end of July. Today they cancelled our order, by an email, no phone call, no verbal apology. then they said we would have to wait up to 28 days to receive a return on our deposit, due to cashflow. Do not pay a deposit to this company without checking they are solvent

I had some questions about a product and received a very quick and friendly response. Finally got around to ordering them on 31st December and they arrived very quickly with a personalised thank you card and a small sweet surprise which was a very nice touch and made me smile!
I only recently purchased my Aga and have previously bought from Aga directly, but Blake and Bull have, in my opinion, much better customer service, cheaper products which fit on the runners and they seem to care about what they are selling rather than riding on the brand name.
I would highly recommend them and will be purchasing from them again.
