Lovely company. Always a brilliant delivery service from Bowen Pies. The pies arrive chilled, ready for your fridge or freezer and are excellent and good value.
All your pies are yummy, but my favourite has to be the butter pie, such a unique flavour

My first 2 orders wirh you were first class, however my last order arrived at 19.40 and was unchilled and in generally poor condition so mucj so that I felt concerne about eating them so threw them away. I recieved a message the day before delivery date from DPD saying they had the package. And that was the last contact until 17.30 the following day saying package would be delivered around 15.00 but as previously stated package did not arrive until 19.30.

Thanks Peter, glad to hear you enjoyed them, though I'm sorry a few arrived looking a little worse for wear. Though they're usually handled with care, we’ll keep nudging the couriers to be gentler with our pie parcels. Appreciate your repeat orders!

Pork Pies Quality Issue
Normally I buy every weekend pork and whist pies from Bowens, put a few weeks ago after buying 4 pork pies I noticed when I got home that the pastry was like rubber and when I took a bite of the pie there was a strange smell. All four pork pies were the same and had to be thrown out. However the whist pies were excellent as normal.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, Graeme. I'm very sorry to hear that the pork pies did not hit the mark this time. This sounds very out of the ordinary for our pork pies, so if you could please give me an email - support@bowenpies.co.uk - with more information (such as which shop you purchased them from and what date). That way, we can investigate this further to ensure that the quality is of a high standard as usual, going forward.
So great to hear that you enjoyed the whist pies as usual.

I have been on a quest for quite a while now to find a pie company that can produce a pie I enjoy! I ordered a selection from Bowen pies to try. I did find the individual pork pie a little bland but I should have ordered a family size one to try. However, the cheese and onion slice was sublime. The meat and potato pie was delicious even though I’ve never tried them before and tonight we had the chunky steak pie and again we were very impressed. I for once will be ordering a second batch and will be inviting my family to try them as well. We are looking forward to our next batch delivery.
