I can't believe how bad cardiff bus has become welsh assembly want people to ditch the car but there is no alternative . I have travelled all over Europe and our public transport system is comparable with a third world country. You can forget about the displays in the bus stops because the arrival time can go for 2 mins to 40 mins zn absolute disgrace. Shame on you Cardiff bus .

An absolute shambles. It makes no sense even with the app it’s hardly correct and buses either go past don’t turn up or are 20 minutes late. Makes life as a university student commuting to there campuses almost impossible and expensive!

Completely ignored my hand out and drove past me. Brilliant start to the day, thank you. It's Sunday service to top it off. Must I mention, you urgently need more 44s. It's not great finishing work at 8pm and getting home at half 10pm. It's not good at all. Ridiculous.

Something needs to change. It's unfair on people who can't drive...

Planned a journey out with my 4 month old daughter and wife using the app days in advance to ensure accuracy and it still got ruined as the app and bus stop and live board stated a bus was due. Counted down the arrival time to the bus when it never arrived at all and we had to then wait over 20mins for another bus after using their journey planner too. Got on the bus, purchased a day to go to ensure we could come back, bus driver missed the bus stop even though I pressed the stop button and as I had a baby in a pram i then had to carry the pushchair off as the driver over shot the bus stop. Really frustrating that cardiff bus have had years of notice, experience and development alongside the growth of the city and still struggle to keep up with the basic fundamentals of bus time tables.

Bus drivers can incredibly rude, I don’t want to tar them all with the same brush because I occasionally have pleasant and welcoming drivers. I wanted to point out that one morning, I misunderstood what the driver was saying to me. My bus ticket on my phone kept saying denied, and of course I kept trying to use it while he continued to mumble that it had worked, in the end he just shouted “ITS DONE LOVE” with such attitude. Incredibly rude and inconsiderate for those who are hard of hearing or have hearing loss. I don’t have issues with my hearing but my point being, he did not know that and there’s no need to respond so rudely. The route was the 15 at 7:58am from Cross Inn Birchgrove.

Absolutely disgusted with Cardiff buses, been on the bus stop over an hour, they do t give a damm they just take the 96 off no consideration for it's passengers, this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks, totally shocking !!!

I would like to congratulate your Driver G Singh 6052, for helping us find the correct stop in Cardiff city centre . He is a credit to you

This is now the second review I’m leaving about these damn buses
why do they just drive past when people are clearly waiting
it happened again to me and I had to walk an hour to get to work, it was lucky I got there in time.

It was only yesterday, I waited 1and a half hours for a 20 minute bus service and still it didn't show.
I have a very painful condition. Standing all that time, plus having to walk an unnecessary 15 minutes because of having to take the other bus was and still is agony. They issue me a disabled bus pass, so that I can be as independent as possible but the service makes me unable to go out again for days/weeks. Ironic don't you think?

In their infinite wisdom decided to implement a Saturday service in July, August and some of September. Meaning that between 6:55 and 8:15 there isn't a single bus running between Newport and Cardiff. What exactly are people with jobs meant to use exactly? Either get to work hours early or over 45 minutes late when it gets into Cardiff Centre. Disgusting. No thought at all. Getting a car, screw the environment and screw their bank balance too

CARDIFF BUS IS THE WORST BUS SERVICE I HAVE EVER TRAVELLED ON INFREQUENT BUS SERVICE, ARAGUNT DRIVERS STOP AT BUS STOPS FOR OVER 20 MINUTS IN THE CITY CENTER WHEN PEOPLE WANT TO GET TO WORK. THEY CANCEL BUSSES ALL THE TIME. BUS SERVIS IS EXTREALY INFREQUINT. IF. OUT OF TEN I WOULD THEM ZERO. DISCUSUSTING BUS SERVICE.

Disgraceful service for a Capital city and gets worse everyday.The management attitude seems to be that they are happy just to send any buses out daily and almost ignore the timetables.The app. is next to useless with even buses showing green and live not turning up.Also useless are the times shown in the bus shelters with services disapearing just when the bus is due.Many buses dont arrive and this is especially so for the 8 and 9.I went out yesterday the 9th July and encountered 5 cancelled buses and ended up walking most of my journey.Again must say the service is DISGRACEFUL.

Absolute disgrace. The app is not worth looking at as wrong information given. Constantly late formwork as one service in particular is hardly ever on time that's if it turns up at all..Even the drivers themselves don't know where they are coming or going.Cardiff bus management needs to get their act together and use buses instead of their cars to see what passengers have to put up with.

Sort out the 27 route. You obviously can't provide a bus every 10 minutes so PLEASE just do 4 an hour and have your buses actually turn up on time. How is it possible to wait 40 minutes for a 27 when there is hardly any traffic? Maybe leave your air conditioned office and try and catch one of your own buses. Good luck!

The driver was incredibly rude when trying to get on. We tried to pay for my bus ticket and the driver demanded a thank you when already saying i did and told me to say thank you again. He then put his hand over the machine in order to stop us from paying even when trying to correct him that we did say thank you can we just pay how ever made us incredibly uncomfortable. I corrected him again and said we did say thank you can we please just pay however he muttered something else as we walked off. This left us incredible uncomfortable throughout the journey as this has never happened before to us when catching this bus very often.

Driver was very rude when boarding the bus (96 bus from Cardiff centre to Barry at 16:20 on 28/6/22). Attitude was disgusting. When buying a ticket he said ‘Please’ indicating that I hadn’t said it. When I disagreed with him that I had already said it he refused to let me pay until I said it again after I had already said it. Then muttered some nasty comment as I was walking away down the bus.

Lovely bus driver on the number 11 from John Lewis. Really polite and helpful.

Shambolic. Buses late. Cancelled with no warning. Stop then the drivers get off and are never seen again. Absolutely disgraceful service. They really don’t give a F
