Everyone is so lovely and welcoming. It’s a great community. I look forward to book club meet up every month. It’s brilliant to be able to meet people with a shared passion and love for books. You can unapologetically be yourself and yap about books as much as you like

I joined Chapter 25 about six months ago, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. I chose a virtual group rather than an in-person club, but I still get a genuine sense of human connection, and our group is just wonderful.
Our host, Charlotte, is absolutely lovely — welcoming, warm, and brilliant at creating a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere. The rest of the group is just as friendly, which makes every meeting something to look forward to. We read a great variety of genres, and our discussions are often animated, thoughtful, and engaging.
Beyond the monthly book club meetings, Chapter 25 offers so much more, including genre-specific bonus clubs, crafts, wellness sessions, author Q&As, and other events. It really feels like a community rather than just a book club, and it’s excellent value for money.
I’d wholeheartedly recommend Chapter 25 to anyone looking for a supportive, engaging, and enjoyable reading experience — especially if you’re considering a virtual club.

I joined Chapter 25 in 2024 and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life! I’m usually such an introverted and shy person but Chapter 25 has enabled me to make life-long friends and memories, all while sharing my passion for books! Can’t recommend Chapter 25 enough!

I didn’t know what to expect going into a book club, I can be shy at first and was concerned I would not enjoy it. However I didn’t need to worry Katie made me feel so comfortable and a part of the group.i have made new friends and have fun every month even when the book isn’t quite to my taste. It’s made me pick up books I wouldn’t even considered and I have enjoyed broadening my reading style. Thank you Katie your amazing

I joined the Watford Club few months ago after a place became available on the waitlist. Our host Kirti has been amazing. I really love the community. Everyone is so lovely online (in our WhatsApp group) and offline. Have loved the few meet ups I have attended. Definitely recommend joining if you're looking to meet people and love reading!

I love chapter 25. I’ve met so many new friends and it’s a great opportunity to try new genres. It’s so well organised and our host is lovely. Three of my friends have joined chapter 25 because of how much I love it!

I’ve been with my local book club for a whole year now and I’m so glad I joined! It’s been a really lovely experience, everyone is so kind and sociable. Being a part of book club has really improved my year , intellectually and emotionally. I’ve made a best friend there too. I couldn’t ask for more. If there’s a space at your local one, I recommend joining! 😊💕

Joining Chapter 25 has been the best decision I have made. It has meant that I can start socialising with like-minded people. Everyone is so welcoming and we couldn't ask for a better host than Sophie! It has been great reading a variety of different books and genres that I wouldn't have thought about before. I look forward to seeing what 2026 brings for Chapter 25!

I’ve had a largely positive experience with Chapter 25. I’ve met some wonderful people and enjoyed reading a wide range of books outside my usual genres, which I really value.

However, I was disappointed by how a concern was handled within the group. Another member shared that she no longer felt comfortable in the group due to comments made about a book from another culture. Before this could be discussed, the message was deleted by admin and the issue was never addressed. This felt like silencing rather than support. Having since spoken to others, I know others were feeling concerned, but the lack of acknowledgment has left some members feeling unable to speak up.

This is particularly difficult given that Chapter 25 positions itself as inclusive and values kindness and open discussion. I believe it’s possible to enjoy a book club, critique books honestly, and still hold space for conversations about inclusion and respect. I hope there’s reflection on how these situations are handled going forward.

Something to look forward to every month and getting me reading new genres like never before! ❤️

I joined chapter 25 book club when I was going through a marriage separation and it really has really helped me to keep up my confidence during the difficult period of my life. It has also allowed me a social outlet and to meet new people which I really needed. But the best thing is that it has helped me to renew my love for reading which I had let fall by the wayside in recent years. I also really love the bonus chapter, particularly the meditation and the yoga. It really feels like you are part of a community at chapter 25! The host for my group, Sarah is also fantastic.

I’ve made such great friends and had such great experiences with Chapter 25 that I can never give enough thanks to Charlotte our chapter lead and those who run it all in the background working tirelessly to give us all the experiences!

I've been part of C25 book club now for about 9 months. It's been nothing but positive the whole time. The website is easy to use and payments are set up monthly same amount each time. Have already recommended the club to friends and would again.

Such a wonderful group of people who run and attend. A variety of books to vote from and the location of the meet ups are wonderful and fit the vibe of the club. Our host is brilliant and makes time for everyone and I’ve made some wonderful friendships through this club! I recommend to anyone who reads!

Love my book club. Its really got me reading more, reading genres I wouldn't usually read and I look forward to meeting up each month. So glad I went out of my comfort zone and joined and met new people! Ashlee is brill! Thank you for making book club fun! :)
