Great service, quick response

I would just like to say for anyone reading this review, I was massively unsure which mortgage advisor company to go with and then I come across CLS Money, I was mainly worried as I had a default on my credit report but they went above and beyond and got me and my partner a mortgage on our dream home which I didnoteventhinkthiswouldbepossible. I mainly dealt with Steve, Victoria and Amy and I could not fault there efforts or skills and knowledge in this department.

I'm so pleased that I went with CLS and would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve only given it 1 star because I had to. Avoid this company. We have been dealing with them for 10 months now. 3 houses lost and thousands of pounds too. It has been the most stressful time of our life. The communication is terrible. We were told conflicting information all the way through. Then we are told they had never told us that information. We put in a complaint and we’re told everyone else was going through the same issues due to covid and that the staff are the best they have. It really does question what you have paid them for. All the chasing and sorting out information we had to do ourselves. Whenever you call for an update or to speak to an advisor they are never available and you have to keep chasing to get a call back. We have been given false hope and information all the way through. We didn’t get a good service at all. These are supposed to be brokers for specialist lenders for people with poor credit. They have made it impossible for us to get a mortgage. We have provided everything required but there’s always something else needed and more money to spend for it to be declined in the end. We get told one thing from Paul and another thing from Emma. Nothing ever adds up. Then they turn the blame on us. We were reassured they would find us a mortgage and after all this time they haven’t. Covid is being blamed on a lot of things. We even had to find a 25% deposit (which is crazy for someone with poor credit) we did find this and yet still can’t secure a mortgage. This has effected our lives and mental health massively. CLS don’t care. They go home to their lives and they still get paid. Absolutely shocking company!!!!

I understand we may not have been the most straightforward case but that’s what a specialist lender is for to help you. They have just taken money off us and gave up false hope.

We also have hard searches on our credit files now which isn’t going to help our credit.

They also appear to remove bad reviews. I’ve left a review before and that has completely disappeared.

No one is interested in working with you to find out what has happened and to try and find a solution. This review will probably be ignored and taken down!

Another successful mortgage application with CLS! We've used CLS many times before for buy-to-let mortgages, our main residential mortgage, and to keep us on the best rates. They're always efficient, fast, reliable and able to get a deal even when others might struggle. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner had previously struggled with various mortgage advisors and had been told by one of them that we would not qualify for the mortgage we wanted. After reading the remarkable reviews about CSL money’s services and success rate, we reached out to them. Frankie Butt was amazing and she was more than happy to support us in getting a mortgage. A couple of weeks down the line and we can officially say we have a mortgage with a well established lender! We are absolutely over the moon and cannot thank the staff at CSL enough, especially Frankie Butt and Rachael Marcucci. Additionally, we would just like to say how effective the app is for communicating and sending documents over with ease. We truly couldn’t recommend CSL money enough - thanks again!

Amazing experience.
Dealt with Abbey and Steve who were incredibly helpful from start to finish. What would otherwise have been a stressful experience was made entirely easy with their help and assistance. Cannot be thankful enough, was not sure if I would be able to get a mortgage but they showed me otherwise. Would highly recommend.

I can’t fault the mortgage application and progression side of things; Amy and Steve were both great.
However….that’s where it all went wrong….after completion, we received a phone call from CLS asking to book a telephone appointment with us to offer financial advice re insurance policies. I said I didn’t need one, I was told it was compulsory. Thinking that this was a condition of the mortgage, I agreed and spoke with one of their advisors. Realising it wasn’t a condition of our lender, I left the call as I would review the policies they sent me and let them know if I was interested. Then the stalking began…..I was hounded by Kate Wiseman, who was ringing me 2-3 times a week re purchasing insurance policies. I missed the first few calls but you would think she would get the hint….I then blocked her number only for her to start calling me from different numbers….
I emailed our progressor, Amy, told her I wasn’t interested and to ask Kate to stop calling me. I then began to receive emails, demanding I sign a disclaimer. I don’t have a printer at home, so can’t sign it. At no point did I ask for, or agree to financial advice, so why do I have to sign a disclaimer?! I am still receiving emails now….I won’t use this company again due to the post sales issues and them spamming me with calls and emails, which is a shame as I was happy with the mortgage side of things.

Started off great. Friendly consultant. Then, got totally ignored. I'm a South African in the process of immigrating to the UK and found CLS Money as they can assist with foreign mortgages etc. We really want to buy instead of renting! After submitting everything that was requested - I'm now simply ignored. No response at all. Is this the norm? As it happens with estate agents as well. It seems like if you're from South Africa, UK business simply ignore you. Lucky if you even get a response. Very disappointed.

Had to find a new broker due to my previous one being unable to even attain a DIP for me, which resulted in them recommending I find an "adverse credit broker" due to 1 late credit card payment on my credit report. It took CLS a total of 5 working days to get me a mortgage offer with a high street lender, ONLY 5 WORKING DAYS.

Fees are quite steep, but more than happy to pay the price for the top tier service we recieved! Massive thank you to Jamie and Rachael who reassured us from the beginning that they'd be able to secure us a mortgage and also for handling the entire process.

Great customer service, rapid responses to emails, frequent updates about application via phone calls. 10/10 recommend.

Thank you so much to Steve. After months of waiting for the right mortgage product to come to market, Steve contacted us and had a DIP within days. Just had our mortgage offer through and Steve reassured us through the whole process. There were many days when we felt anxious and negative, Steve was always there to reassure us, everything would be okay. I cannot recommend Steve or CLS enough. A true credit to the company.

We weren’t sure we would be able to get a mortgage due to past financial difficulties but Andrew assured us we would be fine and true to his word we had a dip the same day.
Every person we have dealt with has been helpful and professional.
But by far the one thing that makes cls stand out from other brokers is Amy, she’s kept us informed every step of the way and made the whole process of moving that bit less stressful, I would definitely recommend!

Rachael Marcucci did a great job to manage our case. She quickly responded to our enquiries, was always bubbly, helpful and efficient and was very patient with our numerous enquiries.

The process has been handled with such high professsionalism and the communication from both of you has been excellent.

From Initial Contact Ellis matched us with the best lender for our requirements within hours. The communication was clear, concise and replies to emails and questions within minutes.

The CLS app was excellent allowing instant messaging with Ellis.

Once we found the property, Rachael took over with the application process. Again Rachael handled the process with such high professionalism, and communication was excellent.

Both Ellis and Rachael have gone above and beyond to deliver, answering every question, and making the process soo seamless and stress free.

The Entire process from initial contact with CLS to survey to mortgage offer was completed within 4 weeks. Would of been sooner due to a slight delay of the lenders valuation.

This is the 2nd time I have used CLS and they have delivered again.

I have no doubt that within the comming months , I will be contacting CLS again to add to our BTL portfolio.

I cannot thank Ellis and Rachael enough for everything they did to secure us a fantastic mortgage offer! I have bad credit from a few years ago and half of my income comes from over time, so all other ‘speciality’ brokers were struggling to find us a mortgage for the amount we needed and that weren’t at an astronomical interest rate. When Ellis first sent the basic details of the deal she had found (interest rate and monthly payments), I actually thought it was a scam as it seemed too good to be true. After countless messages from me to Ellis saying I just couldn’t believe it, she reassured me and soon gained my trust. In less than 3 weeks we received our FULL mortgage offer! More money, half the interest rate and MUCH lower monthly payments. Ellis and Rachael put up with me being a worry head and were kind, contactable and professional from start to finish. I am so grateful I stumbled across CLS money as I really did think we were doomed before they came along! Worth the broker fee by a million miles!
