Rachael M was absolutely fantastic! She explained everything clearly and was quick to respond to any questions that we had.

We contacted CLS money and initially spoke to Charlotte who very quickly got us a DIP through Halifax. She responded to emails so quickly, even at the weekend and supported and guided us through the first stage of our application.
Sian then took on our application and managed to get us a great deal with our mortgage, again she supported and guided us through every stage and was so reassuring. We got our offer a few hours after the valuation was completed and Sian and Charlotte were clearly delighted for us.
We would and do recommend CLS to everyone we speak to. Fantastic advice from people who really do care and know their stuff.

We approached CLS to help us secure a mortgage as freelance/contractors. Within a day they had got back in touch with something to suit our needs and circumstances.

Every interaction with a member of the CLS team was a pleasure. They removed all of the stress from the process and coordinated all the moving parts for us including finding a solicitors and taking out personal protection. Communication was excellent throughout. Thank you Ellis and Rachael!

I couldn't fault CLS service at all, the only thing which is a little frustrating is most communication is done through an app you have to download. The app sometimes breaks or doesn't update which means you're locked out and have to follow up with an email to get the information.

I am extremely impressed with this company, from our first point of contact with Melissa Woolley, who made sure we were placed with the best possible lender, to the great communication and updates provided by Rachael Marcucci until completion. Both were very professional but approachable throughout this process - would highly rate CLS.

My partner and I had our new mortgage fall through for our dream home, quite late in the process due to a messy mortgage he’s still tied to with his ex-wife. We were told by other brokers, no lender would touch us but somehow, Ryan made it happen, and rapidly! Within the week we had our mortgage offer from a high-street lender at a great rate and was able to press forward as needed. Super efficient and responsive. Pricier than other brokers but worth it for the results we needed. Thank you so much Ryan!

Sian has recently took over as my case manager recently after waiting nearly 4 months for an offer this is due to all the pandemic issues at the moment. Sian had kept me sane reassured me, and kept me posstive. She has kept me infromed of any changes or updates. Were at the end now waiting for are offer to be issued and I generally couldnt of done it without sian, Victoria and cls money after bad experiences with a broker we had gave up all hope. 5 Star service from Ryan!!!

I spent months searching for a mortgage with 10% deposits but had no luck.... until I spoke to Ryan.

This guys knows his stuff, within a few hours he came back me with multiple options at great rates!!

If you need a mortgage Ryan is your guy!

My husband and I weren't the most straightforward case due to my self-employment and a bit more complex income situation. However, I don't think we were completely impossible either.

We got three different amounts from CLS, which were all in the mid-300,000's. I thought this was quite surprising as I had used a few different calculators, and I did ask CLS if this was truly correct. We were assured that it was. I then accepted it, as that's the whole point of having a broker – they're supposed to know what they're doing and possibly get better deals than a normal person.

We then asked for an AIP, which CLS applied for. I don't know which lender they tried, since our particular broker never went into detail of the possible choices or even interest rates, which is peculiar in itself. The AIP then bounced. The broker then jumped to question whether we have dodgy credit history (we don't). Before we could reply, she called the lender, who advised this was due to affordability. So after all the reassurances they appeared to have plucked the amount out of thin air.

I then asked how this even happened after we had questioned the amounts before and we had an X amount from a different broker that was lower than CLS had promised.
She then seemed to get rather irritated and said that this X amount from the different broker was impossible since there are no lenders offering it in our situation. Our only option was her new considerably lower amount (around 70k below their original amounts) that we couldn't work with or porting our existing mortgage. What on earth?

We were then completely through with the process with CLS (taking into account as well that getting any replies to our emails was like pulling teeth). We went to the other broker and now have this non-existent and impossible X amount as confirmed mortgage offer from a high street bank.

I don't know what happened. I could make up ridiculous numbers myself, I don't need a broker to do that.

They also seem to remove the not so glowing reviews. Mine was removed from a different review site, which weirdly enough pretty much solely has 5 star reviews...

CLS money were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Thanks to these guys I got my first home and will be moved in time for Christmas. The guys at CLS money are very helpful every step of the way. I am very thankful to you all. An extra thank you to Hannah and Amy for going that extra mile.

First class service. Really pleased with CLS Money especially James and Sian who found me a better rate than my own bank was offering, and the new mortgage was with my own bank?!?!!?

From start to finish I litrely can't thank cls money enough,the whole team who I spoke to are really nice and helpful. Our house purchase has taken longer than expected because of covid 19. James sorted me and my other half out with a halifax morgage who had actually turned us down when we went direct and got us accepted for 2.04% rate on the mortgage which is really good for first time buyers.
Then Amy was in charge of our account from there, the words of a very large estate agents on our area called her "absolutely relentless" when chasing our solicitors the sellers solicitors, the estate agent and in my personal opinion went well above and beyond anything I could have expected from a mortgage broker,. She sorted out good rates on life and critical illness cover and was fantastic and an absolute joy to work with, which when you are making one of the biggest commitments of your life is really needed.

I would 100% recommend cls money
and if we move in the future they will be the first company i call.

Very poor service didn’t listen to
Mortgage criteria, did hard search knowing company does not deal with right to buy flats which is what I was after and then changed mortgage I wanted to suit their needs so told them not to bother. Very disappointing from
A company who are supposed to be skilled at this, my first thought absolutely rubbish and incompetent staff.

I found them on google search. I spoke to Steve, he took all the details about my requirement and never came back. I call him and left a message but no response. Very unprofessional!!

Excellent service with a polite and professional manner. Paisley got me a 95% mortgage and Amy saw me through to completion. They were both a pleasure and delight to deal with and were really on the ball, always willing to take the time to call me back and answer any questions i had. Highly recommended

I am reluctant to give a 1star review because eventually I did complete on my purchase.

However, CLS caused so much stress I would never use again nor recommend them, I very nearly lost both the house I was in and the house I was purchasing. They were aware from the outset that I had a deadline and many promises of being able to adhere to that deadline were completely false.

I never thought I’d say it but thank god Covid hit because if it hadn’t I’m sure I would be facing homelessness.

I don’t believe they placed my mortgage with the right company and would not show me what other deals were available for me to compare to.

Considering they charge for every point of your application, I would have expected more choice and actually, more courtesy from them.

Communication was poor and disjointed throughout and they do not respond to complaints either, they turn it around to everyone’s fault but themselves and considering the old adage of the ‘customer is always right’, I was always wrong in my complaints! When you pay for a service, you do expect a level of courtesy, this was always lacking.

In the end they failed to let the lender know I was looking to complete, my solicitor (who was excellent) and myself who got the process going to get to completion.

Very pushy after completion to use their ‘chargeable’ mortgage protection advisory service, saying it was a condition of my mortgage to use them, I asked for proof, received none and it went quiet.

Don’t use if you’re in a hurry (which is why I went with them as that’s what they promised!) and be aware you will not get value for money.

Won’t use at remortgage time.

Amazing service!! So chuffed with CLS ... especially Paul and Joanne who have looked after me from start to finish. These guys delivered on everything. I will definitely use CLS money again xxx
