The interface is clean and user-friendly, installation is quick and easy, and the support team responds fast. It’s significantly cheaper than the competition without compromising on quality.

After months of juggling GDPR compliance with effective data tracking, we finally landed on a setup that delivers without compromise: CookieScript paired with Google Tag Manager Server-Side (GTMS).

CookieScript took the headache out of consent management. The interface is intuitive, setup is fast, and the platform offers incredibly granular control—clearly separating essential, statistical, marketing, and custom scripts. The banner is fully customizable (finally aligned with our branding), and users can easily revisit and change their preferences, ensuring maximum transparency and trust.

But the real game-changer came with the integration into GTM Server-Side:

CookieScript cleanly passes user consents to the server, which filters and fires only the authorized tags.

This reduced client-side load, improving both UX and SEO.

Most importantly, it gave us back control over our data—tracking scripts are isolated and triggered only when legally and technically allowed.

Cookiescript is a very good tool. I have been able to fulfil the needs of the website easily. The platform is easy to use and the pricing plan is quite reasonable.

Updated review after resolution: I had some technical issues with the set up. I Requested a refund was offered tech support, i refused and requested a refund under their "7 day money back guarantee". I was offered tech support again which i refused and requested my money back. They didn't refund me initially however i do believe this was a genuine mistake after going back to them they promptly refunded, apologised and said they changed their processes to ensure it can't happen again.

We had a good experience with cookie-script integration in all the websites we manage: easy to setup, easy to "install" the script. Just a little bit slow in the first cookie scan but ok, this is not an issue.

Finally, an intuitive tool for consent management, the Scan tool is perfect and automatic for managing everything from a single interface.

We've been using CookieScript on our site for several weeks and are very happy with it. Integration was quick and easy, even without advanced technical skills. The interface is clear, there are plenty of customization options, and the automatic cookie detection is really convenient.

The CookieScript was really easy to setup in Google Tag Manager and connect it to my Wordpress website. My first impression is that is very user friendly and easy to edit in their Dashboard settings with good explanations and a help center of needed.

We like this userfriendly solution

The script is not working on our staging environment. Won't register the consent. Ask for help from Cookie-script and it has been very hard to get good help so far. Hope this will change.

Iam happy that cookiescript offers simple guide how to instal the cookie bar and how to fix some problems. I especaily appreciate the tool for checking the implementation of Google Consent Mode v2, that helps mi to fix some troubles in GA4 due to incorect implementation of GCMv2.
