Cookie compliance is confusing! I was looking for a simple, easy to use cookie banner plug-in and CookieYes seemed to fit the bill. After installation the interface was simple to navigate and the banner easy to set up, so the plugin was exactly what I was hoping for. An unexpected bonus though was CookieYes' excellent technical support. I had trouble modifying a custom color, which their support staff addressed quickly and followed up to make sure worked! I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice.

Support at CookieYes is excellent. Any time we have a problem, they make sure to work with us to get to the bottom of it, do real testing on their end, ask clarifying questions, and provide solutions. It's rare to get that kind of support nowadays. Only reason I am marking a 4 is because we do take a performance hit with CookieYes's banner, and in the past it's sounded like it's not on the product roadmap to get it up to the level we'd love to see. Otherwise the product is excellent at what it does - that would be the only reason for moving away from it.

Answered my support request quickly and clearly, and followed up well.

This is a lovely product and I was concerned when I received a metric in my daily site review that indicated a potential issue. I reached out and they responded immediately and provided excellent information that I could check. As a result, I was able to figure out what was happening on my PC and get an appropriate solution. I am so grateful for great products and support personnel like those at CookiesYes. Highly recommend!

I had a really great experience with the CookieYes support team.

They were incredibly patient, clear, and thorough while helping me fix a complex issue with Google Consent Mode and conversion tracking. What I appreciated the most was how precise and dedicated they were — they didn’t just give generic answers, they actually took the time to check my setup and guide me step by step until everything was working correctly.

Great app. Very intuitive set up across all three of our company web sites. Fantastic support response when I came across an issue a couple of years after installation. Solved the issue in a single email.

Support always has quick and efficient answers

After successfully using the AI bot several times, I now had a question it couldn’t handle. I quickly switched to a staff member who helped me right away with clear expertise. It’s great that the AI bot knows a lot and can help me quickly with questions, but that a staff member is available for more complex issues. I’ve been using CookieYes for several months now for various clients and I’m very satisfied with this cookie banner.

I switched from other cookies banner provider to Cookieyes and at the beginning experienced issues with plugin conflicts. Ryan from the support Team provided me some instructions and possible tools to resolve the issues. The communication was friendly and patient.

We start with the wordpress plug ins installation and default were all good (I'm using the free version). I did have a conflict with the text being all black and on black background. I couldn't solve it, chatGPT offered solutions that didnt work. So not expecting much I sent an email to support, and they came back quickly with the solution.....I was pleasantly surpised, given that I am using the free version

The experience with CookieYes' support was superb. We wrote asking for instructions on how to transfer a payed project within the limitations of the situation we were into. Alessia Parker answered promptly and at length, and followed up shortly after to know if we had tried the solutions or needed something else. We actually continued the same ticket but asking about another issue related to our GTM installation, and once again she was of great help and we exchanged a couple of emails in which she followed up with questions, links to documentation, explanations and reviews of our set up. It made us feel safer about tricky topics like data protection and compliance are. Can't ask for more from a support team.

Really pleased with the support I received from Nick. Whenever I submit an issue/concern with CookYes, I always get back a clear explanation and what the next steps are, if any.

We have changed our subscription from a simple account to an Agency account. The support team at Cookie Yes made it incredibly easy for us to understand the settings, how to change our subscription, and held us by the hand during the entire process. Everything went smoothly. Thank you!

UPDATE:
The team helped me well after this review, this issue is now resolved.

We switched to this provider specifically because they supported subdomain consent sharing in 2024, which was essential for our setup. It worked when we implemented it.

We found out we losed all our trackings. Now the feature is no longer active, and we are told it can only be re-enabled by upgrading to a paid plan. Support insists it must have been manually disabled from our side, which we strongly doubt since we haven’t changed anything in the configuration.

The restriction was introduced shortly after we created our account, yet we are now expected to pay extra for something that influenced our decision to switch. More important is that we lost a lot of Data! They never let us know and do if we are making mistakes which is 100% not true!

This feels unfair and unreliable. Very disappointing experience. Not a business you can trust

CookieYes is a solid plugin that keeps your website in compliance no matter what audience you serve. The Support team is also gold. I ran into a small glitch that I couldn't fix myself, but Support got it sorted for me.

AVOID Cookieyes at all cost!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED! There are better other options!

Cookieyes people do not have ethic, neither they respect their early customers.
At FIRST they promise you FREE Plan - but once you're in and have spent lot of time and energy integrating their solution, their marketing strategy is to BLOCK ALL YOUR ACCOUNT UNLESS YOU PAY LOTS OF MONEY to THEM!
See as proof their email: "...all additional free sites, except your first connected site, will be automatically disconnected...Upgrade your plan to keep all your 5 sites connected.."
=> This is called EXTORTION and should be PUNISH by LAW!
