There were clear instructions on how to get to the building. Once I arrived the staff were very attentive and friendly. They helped me with any questions asked and any helped that was needed when test driving the car. They explained everything clearly to me with kindness. I recommend Cotswold Automotive for anyone looking for a new car. The cars are in pristine condition as advertised on their website or any other. I was very happy with the help and support I received and I am very happy with my new car.

Avoid like the plague!!!
Purchased a car in September 2023 with a 3 month warranty. The car started to overheat and there was clearly an oil leak! I rang and sent an email letting them know this on 14th December! Finally collected the car on 8th January 2024!
Have been told the car would be hopefully back to me by the weekend beginning 19th Jan! No car back! Sent another email asking when it would be back, told should be back to me on 26th Jan!
Still no car!!! I am now going through my bank to try and get a chargeback claim!!!
No car and out of pocket!!! Unbelievable how they can treat people this way!!!
I’ll be seeking legal advice if I have no luck with the bank.

Having purchased another vehicle from Cotswold Automotive now, it has been a really good car! We got everything we needed to have done to the vehicles before they were delivered and it was done very fast. Customer service was very friendly, very happy with everything!

Bought a car a couple weeks ago, lovely service from everyone I spoke to. There were no issues with the car and was exactly how they described it. Couldn’t recommend more!

Car was as described and very easy buying procedure

We share the barnwood point business park with this firm of chancers. They have caused nothing but problems for everyone else on site and have dumped unregistered vehicles, and trade rubbish everywhere.

Now the site has implemented a parking system which is costing everyone time and money. Luckily companies house will let them register a new name soon so the cycle can repeat!

Having had no problems with the purchase and customer service nearly six months passed I received a civil enforcement parking fine for the trading estate where the company is based the fine was for the day I purchased the car,photos on the enforcement show the car leaving and returning from a test drive!!! The company will not pay,clearly not my fault and I have had to pay as company not returning emails. On dispute the parking company state that the vehicle was not registered on their database AGAIN not my fault. Be aware!!!

On arrival they gave us the keys to test a VW Polo with a bold tyre which clearly was illegal and unsafe. They claimed the car had a mechanical check... This was my first car and was learning to drive in it and to be taking my test with this car. The rear breaks also didn't work correctly and upon further inspection before my test the breaks were fitted incorrectly with the wrong parts inside the drums.. Again clearly no one checked this car over before reselling. I have only driven around 1000 miles since the purchase and now the engine shuts off by itself and it has throttle issues as well. Oh and it also had the incorrect spark plugs fitted and the exhaust was blowing... Again, saying this was mechanically checked was a complete lie. Completely overpriced for the condition it was sold to me.

Currently having to get legal advise after being sold and unroadworthy car from this company. Advised to get diagnostics check done by local garage at my own cost which was then rejected by the warranty team. Now getting legal advice to resolve the issue. It’s a shame when dealers feel they can get away with selling illegal unroadworthy cars.

Brought a vauxhall corsa on the 3rd of June 2023 problem after problem then told to go to local garage for repairs once approved quote . They said they would send starter.motor to garage as could get it cheaper. ... kept emailing over quite a while to be told that it was sent on the Wednesday the 6th . Gloucester to Cirencester. We'd 13th sept still not arrived and total silence and ignorance. 2nd fault front brakes sent to another garage to rectify but squeaking like mad so when local garage looked at starter motor got them to look at brakes . No grease on brakes so all you get is squeaking high pitch squealing and burning smell . Guess what as soon as you push for work to be done total silence . Joke of a company. But as tge law is on tge buyers side I will get my money back as under 6 months . See you soon.... 28th Sept after being told its sent again the Garage has still not received the starter motor . Stay away.even if you think its a nice car

***Avoid*** this company at all costs, sold me 2 failed cars have dragged there feet with funds acuse us of scamming them and we are now going down the legal route to get sorted. Dont really need to say anymore!!!
