To be honest, I was skeptical when researching how to file a small claims case in another state. I found Court Linked and it was truly painless. Super simple to get the ball rolling. Finding CourtLink was a blessing..... As I prepared to file in small claims court in FL I googled how to file; their ad popped up, I clicked to read and the rest is history..... I filled out the application paid my one time fee (no hidden costs or add-on's). A few days later CourtLink sent me the paperwork for the court filing along w clear instructions on next step. I signed had all notarized, purchased money orders for the clerk or court and filling (again no hidden costs or add-on's). Very simple and easy process. I had a problem with a major flooring retailer and defective merchandise. I researched the internet on how to file a small claims action and quickly realized it would be to easy to not file correctly and cause myself a headache. I had a landlord retain my entire security deposit after saying over and over that returning it would be 'no problem'. He just kept putting me off for four months, then went totally incommunicado.
