Rebooking of Rhine Cruise to SwitzerlandThe first cruise consultant was really


The first cruise consultant was really helpful when I enquired about an on-shore extension to the cruise. She emailed me back with a date and cost of this particular holiday. However the cruise itiniery was in reverse which I didn’t want so I decided to forget the extension and just book the one I wanted.
When I rang I spoke to another staff member who was also very helpful when booking especially when she had to factor-in the discount to the final cost, that was due to me, following the cancellation by RiviÚre Travel of my previously booked cruise due to low water levels. The booking process of a new cruise for next year was very straight forward.
Both staff members were extremely pleasant and helpful and I would definitely recommend this travel company

Thanks for your detailed review, Gillian. We're sorry that your first cruise with Riviera Travel was cancelled. Unfortunately a lot of cruises have been cancelled on the Rhine and Danube in August due to the water levels. Lets hope we have more luck on the new one next June which I am sure we will. Initial contact was made via the Chatbox which was quick and responsive. It was then followed up with telephone calls which were equally responsive. I was offered a price much lower than going direct to the cruise company so I am happy and satisfied all round.

Efficient helpful and pleasant to speak with

Rachel was very efficient and quick to respond to original query. When I called to follow up for booking she was very helpful advising on suitable cabin and taking details. I’ve been very pleased to talk with her.

Excellent customer service

Even though we did not have our cruise (canceled due to low level of water in Rhine) our experience with Crui.se was very good. Rebecca went above and beyond to get us a good deal and then sorted out all of my medical needs without fuss. She was patient and very helpful. Then when the problem regarding the cruise being cancelled occurred then Carley was also VERY helpful. She chased up Riviera Travel daily to try and get updates which helped us cope with the frustration of it all. Thank you to all the staff and we will be using you again.

Above and beyond

Booking at short notice, Rebecca was helpful beyond belief. Not knowing how to download a Ryanair boarding pass for a flight from Manchester, she took pity on me, and offered to give up part of her day off, to come to the airport and do the download for me. But then she managed to arrange flights from Gatwick That is not five star service, that is ten star service.
Unfortunately, the Riviera set-up was not so good. They left a group of us stranded at Marseilles airport for an hour and a half, gave wrong excursion details, and provided no food from breakfast until our departure at 15.25 on the last day.
So I'll be booking with crui.se again.

You are in good hands!

Very nervous about going on holiday alone and didn’t know what to expect.
My Cruise director, Rachel, is very knowledgeable, very efficient and I was very impressed by the advice I received. She put my mind at rest on one or two issues and answered all my queries.

Very Helpful, knowledgeable. Nice to deal with

I was very impressed with the helpful advice and continued contact throughout my enquiry and booking. Both Carley and Rachel helped with potential cabins as far as far as pros and cons. They explained the various add on packages celebrity offered. Very happy with this first interaction with crui.se. Great team

The service was extremely efficient

The service was extremely efficient. We booked a last minute river cruise and within 24 hours we had all our documentation and everything was sorted. Carley was very helpful and looked into all the trips we were interested in. I was very impressed!!

Highly recommended

They gave us good experience-based advice before we booked, save a few hundred off booking direct and helped us out when TUI put us on a ship with know air-con failure. Highly recommended.

First class experience

I was a bit sceptical about booking through a company I'd never heard of.
Rebecca was extremely helpful and answered every question I had very quickly.

First Class Service

I was treated extremely well by Rachel, Rebecca and Carly.
All 3 were friendly and at the same time very efficient.
Based on my first experience with Crui.se I would definitely use them again and secondly would recommend them to others.

Totally satisfied.

I came across Crui.se completely by accident and am so glad that I did. Rachel was an absolute star, guiding me, a complete river cruise novice, through the minefield of choice. She dealt effortlessly with all my stupid questions and between us we arrived at the perfect way for me and my wife to enjoy our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. I will definitely be using Crui.se again to help arrange my next nautical adventure. Thank you Rachel.
