Beware of items that break quickly
I bought a £250 Amaran light from CVP two months ago, and despite only using it a few times (and always storing it away properly), the internal USB-C power port broke off within the device a couple of weeks ago.
I reached out to CVP, but they raised a repair job and said I had to pay for return shipping. They were also quick to point out that they charge £150 (£125 plus VAT) just to look at a device, if they consider it is customer-induced damage.
While I can fully understand this approach for obvious customer damage, the problem with the Amaran Verge Max light is due to a massive design flaw (Amaran use a daughterboard which has a very weak way of holding the internal USB-C port in place).
I politely pointed out to CVP that under UK law, within months 1-6, the presumption is that the device was delivered faulty and they had to pay return shipping.
They basically said "tough, that's our T&Cs - but try asking our repairs team directly".
So I asked the repairs team directly, and they practically ignored me (they just copy and pasted a standard message back to me).
In the end I went an alternative route with my broken light, but this experience has shown me that I should avoid CVP in the future.

I needed a RODE pro mic for vox pops and interviews for my radio show. I was so impressed with the price of the product but also the ease of the website, the communication and mostly the delivery speed. They'd put most online retailers to shame. Absolutely Brilliant. I absolutely reccomend this company.

Good service
Needed a Kupo baby pin, CVP had one at a reasonable price and it was delivered next day via DHL. Very happy with the service.

Free p+p when others didn't offer that
Item priced same as other companies but CVP had free next day postage. Came packaged well and was next day as promised.

Vendor over sold and preferred the other customer
I purchased a product in their sale. They took payment but did not ship. They then said that they had made a mistake and refused to honour the sale.
I am still waiting for the money to be returned months later.
