Recently completed on a house purchase in Crouch End and the agent dealing with us was Shakir. He was courteous, professional and always had a positive mind set which are important attributes required when trying to close a property transaction in England.
The transaction itself was a bit of a rodeo given the owner is based down under but Shakir shepherded this through very efficiently.
Strongly recommend this agent and Shakir in particular is ace!

Stephanie handled a situation where a long-term leak in the property I was renting had resulted in a ridiculously high water bill. She engaged on my behalf and provided the plumbing documentation necessary to protect my rights. This involved sending documents and speaking on the phone to the water provider. Her work was exemplary and I am very grateful for her intervention.

Stephanie handled a burgeoning damp issue with our flat promptly, efficiently and courteously. Great communication throughout. And she spotted an anomaly which she then sorted out saving us a major expense. Excellent work. Thank you.

The whole team and especially our property manager Stephanie at David Astburys are a real breath of fresh air. I can’t thank enough Mr.Mario Georgiou form Crouch End brunch of David Astburys company for the support he gave us so far. He has been so supportive little before Christmas and during, until today to find the best deal for renting a house after we announced by our landlord that need to sale the house we currently live in. I am a landlady who recently had the pleasure of working with David Astburys team in Islington. Upon receiving a call from them, I was impressed to find that their Google reviews boasted a perfect 5-star rating, setting a high standard from the start.

The speed at which everything unfolded was truly remarkable. From the initial call on a Thursday to the first visit to the flat on Monday, followed by a potential tenant visit on Tuesday at 10:00 am, the efficiency was evident. Notably, I received an offer from the tenant before professional photos were even taken, a testament to the team's proactive approach.

By 12:30 pm that same Tuesday, professional photos had been taken, showcasing their dedication to presenting the property in the best possible light. The process continued to move swiftly, with the tenant's offer swiftly accepted and all necessary documents promptly exchanged. I was particularly impressed by the team's quick response times via email and the clear explanations provided by the staff.

Tenants BEWARE! These guys demanded a £500+ holding deposit BEFORE they would send my asking price offer to the landlord! Very shady, and highly frowned upon by other reputable agencies. Landlords should beware too - these guys are withholding asking price offers from you! The lettings team are kids with poor judgement. AVOID.
