I honestly can’t thank Helen enough for everything they did for us.

Our house purchase turned into a bit of a nightmare with lots of unexpected problems, and there were times when we genuinely thought we weren’t going to get a mortgage on the property that we wanted. But she didn’t give up.

Helen worked really hard, kept looking for solutions and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and we always felt like they really cared about helping us get our family home.

You could tell she genuinely wanted the best outcome for us, and went above and beyond every step of the way. Thanks to all her hard work and determination, we finally got the mortgage and were able to buy our home we really wanted!

Do not buy a property without Steven in your corner.

Most mortgage advisers are helpful when an application is sailing through smoothly. But the true measure of an exceptional adviser is how fiercely they protect you when a property deal collapses. In that regard, Steven is in a league entirely of his own.

From our very first consultation regarding my purchase at Abbey Quay, Steven was a masterclass in professionalism. He didn’t just process paperwork or push a standard product; he took the time to offer incredibly transparent, expert financial advice with genuine care and absolute politeness. He made the highly stressful world of securing a mortgage feel completely grounded and manageable.

However, what makes Steven truly unique is his unwavering integrity. When the property was down-valued by the lender and the developer point-blank refused to renegotiate, the purchase unfortunately had to be cancelled. In an industry where many brokers would simply close the file, say 'tough luck,' and move on to their next commission, Steven did the exact opposite.

He stepped right into the trenches with me. Going far beyond his normal remit as a mortgage adviser, he actively took on the developer and the solicitors, fiercely advocating on my behalf to help recover the unfair abortive legal fees I was being penalized with.

Steven fought my corner when he had absolutely no financial incentive left to do so, simply because it was the right thing to do. If you need a mortgage adviser, do not look anywhere else. Having Steven in your corner isn't just a recommendation - it is an absolute necessity. He is a phenomenal professional and a genuinely brilliant person to work with.

If I could give more stars then I would. Steve made a stressful situation more bearable. He was there whenever I needed him, acted quickly and always gave the best advice. I couldn’t recommend Steve and team enough. If you want something done quickly and properly, then Steve is your man! Thank you so much for everything you’ve done. I’ve used Steven a couple of times in the past now over the years and I have to say he is the best out there for what he does. He is always on hand for any help and completely goes above and beyond.
