Very helpful with every step along the way. Was always happy to answer any questions regardless to how small they seem. Very good service throughout couldn't fault them at all. I would definitely recommend Direction Law to anyone especially first time buyers.

Good service but difficult to get hold of staff on the phone sometimes.

Direction Law have been fantastic. Mariah Arshad guided us through the process, answered all questions and responded quickly to all emails etc. we have completed is a matter of a month and a half. Cannot fault them, very grateful!

Generally poor service with little to no communication on ongoing events until the very last minute. Used them for my first home purchase and was in no way assured by them at anypoint during the process. I had to chase up the thrid party myself to ensure the sale was moving as Direction Law did not keep up with the changes. A lot of money for very little service. Do not use if you are a first time buyer. Get a local solicitor who will be more help during the process.

Alia was brilliant! Always answered my queries (of which I had a lot of) and very professional throughout the sale!

Service was ok, got fairly quick response. I never spoke to anyone over the phone though so felt very impersonal and got a few robotic answers back when I had questions. But for the price it was all good

First time home-buyers here, and first time using a solicitors which we were so glad for the recommendation as we could not fault their service whatsoever! In fact, I'm surprised to read negative reviews on this company and felt that I had to leave a review since we had nothing but a positive experience.

If your transaction is straightforward and not time bound, and you are willing to take a risk nothing will change through your transaction, then using a 'conveyance factory' firm such as Direction Law will save you some money. However, our sale experience - while straightforward and not time-bound - was not a good experience and almost cost us securing an offer on our onward chain. They 'barely' do the absolute bare minimum, and communications are almost non-existent despite multiple emails and calls to request an update due to long periods of silence. When we came to completion, we had to chase clarification on important details from 3rd parties due to non-response from DL, and we discovered DL lied about steps they'd taken in the process. With hindsight, we will be paying the extra for a firm who deliver on what they promise and are willing and able to respond to any bumps in the road.

Direction Law was unable to get our remortgage over the line in months. By the time Direction Law finally expedited the title registration our evaluation survey had lapsed. Despite trying to get in touch dozens of times through the process.

We used Direction law years ago for our first buy, we thought it was fine so we instructed them again to deal with our sale.
They are unhelpful, slow, fail to explain anything, lie to you, I had to chase them and do their work for them. I tried to call several times, no one answers apart from the sales team. Had to put through a few complaints, responses were defensive and didn’t change the service. They nearly jeopardised our purchase of another property and the estate agent advised it would negatively impact our offer if we stayed with slow unhelpful direction law.
It’s difficult to know what a decent service is when you’re a first time buyer/seller. Our new conveyancers have been a dream compared to Direction Law. Don’t waste your money

All the bad reviews here are true, worst Solicitors I've ever dealt with in my life! I've spoken to quite a few people who have experienced systematic discrimination and racism from this fir and we are all putting forward a compliant to the SRA! Law firms like this should not exist!!
