I came back to DJ Alexander to manage the letting of my flat and they were professional, very responsive and found me tenants! As I am not based in the area, relying on their initiative and follow-up was crucial. Deirdre Henderson especially provided excellent support but the team as a whole was very helpful. 5 stars!

You know the saying about First impression? Today I had a first dealing with D.J. Alexander.

Based on this phone encounter with wonder Ms Leandra Brown, I am very certain I met my dream property agency. I hardly remember when a professional service was so naturally human yet remaining within the professional scope.

Leandra, from the very first second on the phone, made everything so easy and so logical to me, i.e., someone with less than elementary knowledge of the property market.
I am a naturally chatty person who can easily divert into multiple topics, but Leandra managed this brilliantly with her amazing sense of humour and excellent people skills. Thanks millions for such a great approach!!

Yasser Albassam - he helped me buy a flat. Quick, professional, proactive, and also human, kind, phoning as well as emails... so good I asked for him specifically when I wanted to sell a flat. He was just as great the second time around. I thought it couldn't get better....

... Then I was passed to Leandra Brown who helped me do up the flat pre-sale. It got better. She identified what needed doing, she got quotes, she even negotiated at cost quotes on some aspects, I also got quotes and Leandra's were always cheaper and just as good, she phoned, emailed, was quick, never pressuring me to pay, she just got on with it, efficiently and professionally. Leandra also became a friend, I really grew to respect and like her on a personal level too (unexpected bonus).

I’ve been a landlord with DJ Alexander for nearly a decade now, and whilst I was noticing a decline in their service over the last few years I have been absolutely delighted by their Compliance Coordinator Jenni Flynn, whose service and attitude have gone a lot way to restoring my faith in them. Excellent follow-up on some of my concerns after a routine approach about PAT testing, She dig deeper and offered solutions whereas in the last few years my issues had disappeared into the we’ll-get-round-to-it fog.

I have used Alexanders Edinburgh office on a couple of occasions recently to sell rental properties. From start to finish the service was absolutely first class-prompt and courteous attention,excellent knowledge and feel for the market,regular reporting back and very satisfactory results achieved. I used DJ Alexander’s to sell my rental property in Edinburgh. I don’t live in the area so needed help with getting the flat ready to sell as well as with the sales process. Sarah McIntyre and the rest of the team did a really professional job and made the process as painless as possible. Sarah gave invaluable advice on getting the flat ready to sell. We got an acceptable offer within 3 weeks of going on the market and the sale completed 2 months after that (with the Christmas break between). Extremely happy with my decision to use Alexander’s and happy to recommend to others.

What a shocking company to deal with. I rented a flat through them after a marriage break up. I could not move in on the first day due to a broken window handle. It was on the ground floor and left easy access to intruders. The whole process was stressful and they adopt a shocking portal system to notify of things that require fixed. Not customer focused at all. I was considering changing my holiday rental to full time let but would not recommend this company at all. They’re now trying to stretch out my notice period without giving me the day back that I could not move in.

Sarah, Sara and Abby did an excellent job when listing and selling my property in Edinburgh. They kept me regularly informed, followed up on every important detail and made a complicated process seem much easier for me. I would highly recommend their work!

We have had a brilliant service from DJ Alexander during the purchase of a property off market. As first time buyers, we didn't know an awful lot about the purchasing process, but it was made much easier with help and advice from James Coyle, he was excellent!

D.J Alexander has been very prompt and helpful! The information has always been clear and thorough from start to finish of getting our tenancy sorted. Eve Mack and Gill Robertson specifically have been very supportive and informative throughout the process, answering all our queries and allaying any concerns we have had.

With the fact that the Goodlord platform was pretty inflexible in terms of providing information or going back to change things, it was invaluable to have the help of Laura McTaggart to first take the deposit for my flat and then was able to start and complete the guarantor process within a few hours. That removed the stress completely from it, and she was very friendly and helpful the entire time.
