I'm happy

I'm happy - I used the patch inside the jacket and it was of course quite tricky to get into place but it's done a good job. Only I notice the repair when I'm out and about

I did find it helpful but it took me aboutx10 mins to separate the sticky fabric from the paper. You could definitely improve the design here.

Make sure you read the small print


Make sure you read the small print before buying. Fab patches but they come off if a garment is washed, even in a cold wash. If you never intend to wash the jacket you will be fine.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry that our patches have not worked for you on this occasion.

Our self-adhesive patches are designed with fully waterproof adhesive and when applied to down jackets, adhere brilliantly. We do very occasionally come across a jacket who’s fabric has been treated – eg with silicone waterproofers - which may impair the the sticking properties of the patch, and this may be the case with yours - but we do have alternatives that we would like to offer you to try.

We have attempted to contact you - via email and text message - to see if we could resolve the issue for you, but have heard nothing back. If you do see this reply, please do get in touch (info@downjacketrepair.co.uk), as we would really like to resolve this situation for you.

Repair for a panel in a down filled jacket

A seam had frayed on the hem of my jacket, releasing a panel's worth of down into the tumble dryer. Delivery took a couple of days but the package fitted through the letter box. Using the plastic tweezers, included, was the easiest way to restuff the section. The advice I followed was to put the jacket and down in a cardboard box while I was doing it, not wear a wool jumper and not to cough! I used about a third of the contents. Useful product - happy to recommend.

The down jacket repair patches work really well. I’ve used them for repairs on duvet jackets, waterproofs and even tents. Good for field and permanent repairs. Recommended
