Our self-adhesive rip-stop nylon down repair patches are the solution.
Our easy-to-use self-adhesive (rip-stop) nylon patches that provide a simple and satisfying repair for those nasty tears in your lovely down jacket, sleeping bag or ski trousers. Also, they are super-soft and won't spoil the look and feel of your down jacket.
Our patch kits ship with a variety of (differently sized) circular and oval patches, suitable for a satisfying repair to anything from a small âsnagâ to fair-sized hole (five âcirclesâ from 1.6cm to 4.1cm diameter and two âovalsâ the smaller 3.8cm x 5.7cm and the larger 4.5cm x 6.2cm).
We also supply replacement goose down kits for when you down jacket is looking a little flat, as well as our complete "Kit-in-a-Tin" with 10 circular patches, mini insertion tweezers and 1 g of goose down
We currently stock 23 different colours, so take you pick. Either try for the closest colour-match you can find or be âboldâ and go for a funky contrast!

The patches were quite thin for thick finger nails. For the cost I would have liked more patches. Other than that, the patch is still there.

This is the second time Iâve had to repair a down coat, the first (canât remember the make) wasnât great, this is so much better. It was dead easy to put on, and is almost invisible now.

Not wash-proof
Positives:
The dark grey patches are a pretty good match on my Rab Electron jacket. Still visible, but they don't stand out.
Negatives:
They don't survive washing! My jacket had a small tear, and also needed a wash. I wanted to patch the tear first, so that I didn't lose any down in the wash. I patched it, left it a couple of days to ensure it was fully adhered, then washed it. I was surprised to find that the patch had disappeared in the washing process! This makes them fairly impractical - if you have a few patches, you'll need to reckon on replacing all of them after every wash. If any of them are covering big tears, then you could expect to lose a lot of down, so I'd be looking for an alternative solution.
Delivery was also fairly slow, just over a week in the UK. Given that these are a lot more expensive than other offerings, that was fairly disappointing.

Our patches adhere brilliantly to down jackets, but while they usually stay on during washing, we canât guarantee it. Weâve tested them through multiple washes and tumble drying on medium heat without them shifting. That said, if you're unsure, we recommend using a safety pin during washing and replacing the patch if needed.
Our self-adhesive patches use fully waterproof adhesive, but occasionally, jacket fabrics treated with silicone waterproofers can affect adhesionâthis may be the case with yours.
Weâre happy to refund you, if the product didnât work as expected, or to send you a replacement pack if you would like to try again.
