Never put their eectric car on charge when they are out off battery because the car did not charge and I called the customer support to get assistant. Retired and it started to charge and I called back again to confirm and they said its charging. Now they dont want to give charging credit as they are saying it did not charge. Poor customer service. Zip car is better

For customers from the US trying to rent in Germany, this service is terrible. It is incompetent as per US standards, but may be this level of service is normal in Europe where people are OK waiting 6-months to see a doctor. (Different expectations from different customers - what is "normal" is different in each country )
1) After you upload US Driver's License, Passport and Selfie to the app, it took them 5 days to review and finally rejected and asked me to upload again.
2) Then as soon as I uploaded the same thing once again, it took another 5 days to review and this time, received an email saying need to upload additional International Driver's License. I don't know why this was not asked in step 1, TEN days earlier. Why wait 10 days to ask this question.
3) US Driver's License in valid as per German law - and yet DriveNow employs this discriminatory practice.
Basically DriveNow is trying to use a modern app and UI that you find in American ride-share and other apps, but with terrible European back-end. Don't make plans depending on DriveNow. Treat is as a "novelty" at best.
And this has nothing to do with money. Customers like me are trying to pay real money like $100+/day to rent a car and yet there is 0 customer service. As a counter example, Uber will reply to you within 6 hours of a complaint, even for a $7 Uber ride. DriveNow has not yet learned what it takes to operate in this "app-economy" with "on-demand services".

Although car2go also same problems. if you drive in early morning to airport almost imposssible tofind parking space for car.really got get this sorted out. not trying to advocate Miles too much however I found them have better availability and they dont charge 6euro fee for drop off or pickup and of course those minutes to locate parking space will cost you too on other schemes :(

Checkede lige appen, og fandt både 2,50, 3,00 og 4,00kr/min.
2,00 kunne jeg ikke finde, og sjovt nok kostede alle biler i lufthavnsparkeringen 4,00kr.
Jeg har været super-glad for gennemskueligheden før. Nu kniber det.

Normalt er jeg en super glad og hyppig bruger af jeres biler, hvilket gør at jeg simpelthen ikke kan forstå jeres håndtering af min oplevelse hos jer.
En søndag morgen kører jeg til eksperimentarium I jeres bil. Derude er jeg i tvivl om hvor jeg må parkere, og ringer - mens jeg stadig betaler for turen - til jeres kundeservice for at få vejledning om hvor jeg kan parkere derude. Jeres søde unge medarbejder fortæller mig at jeg kan køre ind på ParkZone's parkeringsplads ved eksperimentarium. Jeg spørger gentagende gange om hun nu er sikker, eftersom det jo er et privat selskab. Hun fortæller mig at I har en aftale med dem, og det vælger jeg at stole på. Det burde jeg vel kunne stole på!?!?!?
Men nej.. En parkeringsbøde kommer min vej 2 uger efter, til min store overraskelse. Og hvad siger I nu?! At den må jeg selv betale, fordi det er mit eget ansvar at undersøge hvor jeg må parkere!?!
Men det gjorde jeg jo! Jeg ringede ind til jer - hvilket I også kan se i jeres system...
Nøj en dårlig kundeservice.. Jeg er SÅ skuffet.

works well; my only point is why there is no cars available when you arrive late evening at Berlin airport; it actually shows usually 30+ cars, but you can't book them; not so nice

Superfed koncept . Elsker BMW.. dog trækker det lidt ned mht prisen som er lidt dyrt samt at man ikke har mulighed for parkering hvor som helst udenfor København. Dette burde gøres bedre med parkering.

It started off so well and is now spiraling downwards
I’m a nearly daily user of DriveNow in Denmark. Within the last week alone, two cars I booked using the App weren’t at the promised location, causing me to be late to my destination while booking another car. How can this happen!?
Also, I’m now seeing numerous charges on my bank statement from DriveNow for low amounts, but nevertheless adding up to significant amounts. I don’t see these reflected in any invoices or communication from them.
In short, I love the idea, and when it works, it’s good. When it doesn’t, then it’s quite a curfuffle!

Ny bruger, men elsker allerede konceptet, specielt at kunne bruge bilerne til CPH:
Nemt at bruge appen til både at reservere, finde og åbne bilerne, der i øvrigt kører fremragende, og ligeså nemt at låse dem efter brug. Dog har jeg problemer med at få sendt kvitteringer for mine ture fra appen til min mail.

1. I rented a car in July, I drove outside on "the zone" and needed to fill the tank. I paid with my own money and it is now almost October I still havent received my refund. I have made countless calls, all I they say "we have a backlog" 2 weeks ago they said "it has been processed" and I still haven't received my money.
2. I received a speeding ticket in the UK, but I live in the Netherlands. They charged me 15GBP for admin - I'm okay with that. I found out the admin fee was for simply sending back the ticket to the sender. I emailed and called them they advised me to call the UK police, I found a way to call a branch office the police advised I should ask them to send me an ecopy of the fine. DriveNow said they cannot. I am baffled as this could have serious repercussion - they don't seem to care.
use their car nothing else. and make sure you dont need them after the rental. Alternativel go to ZipCar which is mostly cheaper.

Have been very impressed with the Drive…
Have been very impressed with the Drive Now service in Islington, London. Just completed my third trip - 1 was a 3 day rental, 1 for a few hours, and most recently a 2 day rental. Clean cars; sometimes parked right outside my flat. App is easy to use.
Seeing lots of concerns about customer service in the reviews. I had to contact them this week about refuelling the car, and got a response right away; and my account was credited. Only concern is that you have to rely on mobile service to lock and unlock the car - this got pretty scary in a few places outside of London where there was no service; but sounds like there is a customer card that could solve this.

Customer Service were excellent and refunded my over-run fee. The Sat Nav is BMW MINI’s problem of course.
——-The service is ok but cars have strange, out-of-date navigation and obscure charges if you buy a fixed package of hours and then forget to click a tiny button before the end of your package. I think it should not overrun if the car is parked in the correct zone. Mini Coopers are kinda horrible compared to the BMW cars.

Customer service is Zero in this company and if you want to raise a complaint regarding poor service you will be waiting months for correspondance or concerns being rectified
I was strongly advised new customers to use Zip Car or a reputable car hire company. Not Drive now who to date are still holding unauthorised monies that they processed twice and have not refunded in over a month

Super nemt at tilmelde sig og leje en bil. Jeg havde dog slet ikke forstået parkeringsreglerne /zonerne. Så jeg kørte afsted i bilen og kunne ikke komme af med den igen. Blev nød til at ringe til kundeservice 2 gange for at forstå hvordan jeg ser zonerne. Det er ikke nemt at se på kortet, hvis man er i en forstad til Kbh.
Det kostede mange penge at jeg parkerede og måtte beholde bilen mens jeg var til møde. Øv øv. Smart hvis man bor i Kbh, det virker ikke så smart i forstaden.

Inaffidabile, nonostante abbia collegato la carta di debito, ed effettuato il pagamento per il primo viaggio, per il terzo mi hanno bloccato l’account (nonostante avessi i soldi sulla carta) perché non risultava il pagamento (automatico se non avessero problemi) del secondo. Dulcis in fundus bloccato a piedi a Malpensa.

Having been an enthusiast of this company since the beginning, the following hurts somewhat. Even though they are polite on the phone they have an abusive policy when it comes to settle disputes, PCNs and other. Their customer service, though somewhat better than other companies, escalates to become hostile quite fast. I personally, have been charged and paid twice for the same parking ticket. And this has happened twice (!) resulting in hours of wasted time over phone and email.
Really sad.
worst customer service ever!
I've been their customer for a long time. everything works well until you have a problem. I was in one of their cars which was so in fuel. I refueled the car in one of their partner gas stations and when it came to the payment we realized that the credit card in the car is blocked. I tried contacting the customer and I was on waiting for more than half an hour and no one answered. Finally I ended up paying myself. I have contacted them a few times and each time I was said I will get my money back in a few days and since then 3 months has passed and apparently my money is gone! I stopped using Drivenow since then. Imagine only if I would have had any problem with their cars and had to deal with them what a horrible story would have happened. As a former customer with more than 40 rides per month I definitely recommend you not to use their car just to save your self from any issue you might have with this company!
